Sheriff's reports

THURSDAY

8:02 a.m., Willow Springs — A woman said a window was broken at Willow Springs Clubhouse on the 20500 block of Willow Springs Drive.

9:13 a.m., Standard area — A woman said a neighbor on the 15100 block of Tuolumne Road was shooting a BB gun near a horse corral at Tuolumne Veterinary Hospital.

9:56 a.m., Jamestown — A man on the 16000 block of Jacksonville Road said a computer was stolen from a locked vehicle on April 11.

10:12 a.m., Tuolumne — A woman said at least $200 was stolen from a vending machine at Mother Lode Christian School on the 18300 block of Gardner Avenue.

11:01 a.m., Sonora area — A Caltrans employee said someone tapped into electricity at a property on the 19300 block of Highway 108.

12:40 p.m., Ridgewood Estates — A caller said a pressure washer was stolen from the outside of a garage on the 16300 block of Crestridge Avenue.

12:52 p.m., Mono Village — A woman on the 14600 block of Mono Way said a grandson she has never met came to her house asking about a will. When the woman wasn't looking the boy stole $75 from her purse.

1:14 p.m., Columbia — A woman on the 11000 block of Columbia Village Drive said some "shady characters" were hiding out near her house.

2:08 p.m., Columbia — A 42-year-old man was arrested on a misdemeanor charge after reportedly threatening another man with a chain saw when the two were in front of a bar on Italian Bar Road. The alleged victim said the man came up to him, backed him against the wall and threatened to "cut him up into little pieces."

2:33 p.m., East Sonora — A woman said a man in his 50s driving a white compact car was yelling at two girls sitting on the curb in front of a store on the 13800 block of Mono Way.

2:39 p.m., Jamestown — A man on the 18000 block of Highway 108 said he received a letter in the mail to show up in court on a seat belt violation incurred in a car he had sold.

4:01 p.m., Columbia — A property manager said trash was illegally dumped into a trash bin on the 23700 block of Parrotts Ferry Road.

7:15 p.m., Tuolumne — A woman on the 18400 block of Main Street said a man came to her brother's house and stole his $900 mountain bike.

8:29 p.m., Twain Harte — A caller said the driver of a white Chevy Blazer SUV was headed east on Highway 108 and was possibly drunk.

FRIDAY

8:10 a.m., Jamestown — A woman on the 18700 block of Jamestown Road said someone siphoned gas out of her pickup truck during the night. The siphoning hose was left in the tank, she said.

8:12 am., Twain Harte — A man said a group of teenagers that appeared to have been drinking was on the diving platform at Twain Harte Lake.

8:34 p.m., Twain Harte — A caller on Italian Bar Road said a man threatened to move a "wreck of a trailer" onto his property. The man had been squatting on a neighboring property for more than a year, the caller said.

8:37 a.m., Don Pedro — A caller said a man on the 14400 block of Potrero Way had broken the seal on a water meter and turned the water back on after it had been shut off for failing to pay the bill.

10:02 a.m., Jamestown — A woman on the 10200 block of Preston Lane said someone broke into her car and took stereo speakers and CDs. Her boyfriend later called and said his wallet, which contained $50, was also taken.

12:42 p.m., Twain Harte — A man said his brother's cabin, on the 23100 block of Strauch Drive, was broke into during the night.

3:15 p.m., Sonora area — Someone on the 15100 block of Cavalieri Road said his new skateboard was taken off the front porch.

6:12 p.m., Twain Harte — A woman said a group of eight to 10 kids were taking furniture out of the rooms at the Twain Harte Inn on the 22900 block of Twain Harte Drive and throwing things around.

6:56 p.m., Columbia — A man said his stolen car had been found shot up on Sawmill Flat Road. Several items had been taken out of it.

10:32 p.m., Tuolumne — A caller said a man was lying underneath a car parked in a lot on the 18400 block of Tuolumne Road. The caller suspected the man was vandalizing it.

10:43 p.m., Crystal Falls — A woman said three or four kids went into the Crystal Falls Stables. A deputy responded and spoke with a neighbor who said he had run off a group of kids.

11:05 p.m., Tuolumne — A deputy arrested a man on Rozier Avenue on a misdemeanor warrant charging him with loitering and failure to appear.

11:27 p.m., Crystal Falls — A man said three or four teenagers were taking drugs and possible causing damage behind the old firehouse on Stoner Hill at Crystal Falls Drive.

SATURDAY

12:14 a.m., Sonora area — A woman said a group of kids was hanging around her house, on the 12700 block of Chukar Circle, and making too much noise. A man calling nearby said kids were possibly drinking along the side of his building and banging against his walls.

4:56 a.m., Wards Ferry area — A 25-year-old man was arrested on Blanket Creek Lane on a misdemeanor warrant charging him with driving with a suspended license.

3:22 p.m., Twain Harte — A vacation home on the 22800 block of South Fork Road was reported burglarized.

5:51 p.m., Twain Harte — A security guard said a group of kids at Twain Harte Lake was causing a disturbance and refusing to leave.

6:20 p.m., Sonora area — A woman on Beckwith Road said a neighbor was burning a slash pile illegally.

6:58 p.m., Sonora area — A security guard at The Junction shopping center said he was given a wallet from someone who found it in the parking lot. The father of the wallet's owner was contacted and made arrangements to have it picked up.

YESTERDAY

12:22 a.m., Jamestown area — The California Highway Patrol issued a be-on-the-lookout request for a Kia Sportage that left the scene of an accident at the intersection of Highway 108 and O'Byrnes Ferry Road.

10:26 a.m., Soulsbyville — A man at Willow Springs Park said an aggressive pit bull had him and his young children trapped on a playground slide.

Felony bookings

THURSDAY

12:07 p.m., Tuolumne — Sherrie Kay Harrison, 50, and Patrick Lynn Arney, 39, both of the 18400 block of Cedar Street, Tuolumne, both booked on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance for sale, sale of a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a school, possession of a controlled substance while armed and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. They were arrested at their home after Tuolumne Narcotics Team investigators served a searched warrant.

Arney was also booked on suspicion of being a felon in possession of a firearm and being a person prohibited from possessing a firearm.

Both remained in jail this morning, held in lieu of $15,000 each.

Cited on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol:

Cassy Ann Cook, 22, 24100 block of Marble Quarry Road, Columbia, booked at 11:54 p.m. Thursday after arrest on Parrotts Ferry Road at Union Hill Road, Columbia.

Sonora police reports

THURSDAY

8:49 a.m., fire — A 14-year-old boy was detained then turned over to his parents after someone saw him start a brush fire on North Green Street at Snell Street.

9:05 a.m., vandalism — A caller said plants were thrown into the Sonora High School swimming pool on School Street.

11:21 a.m., traffic accident — A driver complaining of chest and back pain after a traffic accident on Pesce Way at Highway 49 was taken to Sonora Regional Medical Center.

1:34 p.m., assault — A Sonora Elementary School teacher was punched in the face by an 11-year-old boy at the school.

2:10 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A man was found sleeping on a railing in front of a fast-food restaurant on the 600 block of South Washington Street.

3:37 p.m., traffic accident — No one was injured in an accident on North Washington Street, however a vehicle ended up in someone's front yard.

3:50 p.m., traffic accident — No one was injured in a three-car accident on the 900 block of Mono Way.

6:52 p.m., theft — A mountain bicycle was stolen from a garage on Golden Street.

9:02 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A caller said there were three explosions on South Washington Street near High Street. The explosions reportedly were from a Sierra Conservation Center training exercise on city property on Truckenmiller Road.

FRIDAY

5:32 a.m., suspicious circumstances — A caller in an apartment on the 300 block of North Washington said a man outside wouldn't leave.

12:08 p.m., theft — A caller on the first block of Summit Avenue said a patio umbrella was taken during the night.

3:34 p.m., parking — A caller said a vehicle had been left in a parking lot on the 400 block of Greenley Road for two months. It was covered up and had no license plates.

10:20 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A woman on the 100 block of Pine Street said someone threw urine all over her outside windows.

SATURDAY

11:04 a.m., disorderly conduct — A caller said two possibly drunk people were being rowdy at the intersection of South Washington Street and Stockton Road.

12:28 p.m., lost property — Someone lost a gray cell phone at the Mother Lode Roundup Parade on South Washington Street.

12:51 p.m., disorderly conduct — A caller said people in an apartment on the first block of North Washington Street were throwing water balloons and cigarette butts from the balcony.

1:55 p.m., hazardous situation — A caller said three or four trash bags were left in the road near the Timberhills shopping center.

4:53 p.m., found property — An officer found a wallet at West Bradford Avenue and South Green Street and brought it to the police station.

5:03 p.m., public intoxication — A 44-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication at West Bradford Avenue.

5:07 p.m., traffic violation — A caller said a 1960s model car with several people inside was driving all over a parking lot on the 1000 block of Greenley Road.

5:28 p.m., assault — A woman on the first block of Mono Way said a man pushed her when she refused to sell him alcohol. The man had attempted to buy liquor with incorrect identification.

9:02 p.m., public service — An officer said water was shooting from two pipes in front of the Child Support Services building on Morning Star Drive.

9:30 p.m., disorderly conduct — A caller said four men in their 20s got into a fight in the middle of South Stewart Street near Restano Way.

9:49 p.m., public intoxication — A 48-year-old woman was arrested on South Washington Street on suspicion of public intoxication after a man said she was causing a disturbance in the back of his cab.

10:23 p.m., burglary — Someone burglarized a house on the 700 block of South Barretta Street and stole a lot of cash, the caller said.

Fires

YESTERDAY

10:43 a.m., Standard area — A trash bin fire at Tuolumne Utilities District headquarters on the 18800 block of Nugget Boulevard did $200 damage to the container. The cause was not known. California Department of Forestry and Tuolumne County Fire Department responded.

3:33 p.m., Phoenix Lake area — Playing with matches was listed as the cause of a spot fire at property owned by Scott Riendeau on the 14300 block of Sandy Court. Responding were CDF, Tuolumne county Fire Department, U.S. Forest Service and an inmate crew from Baseline Conservation Camp.

FRIDAY

12:01 p.m., Arnold — A house on the 2800 block of Country Club Drive was burglarized while the homeowners were away.

2:53 p.m., Mountain Ranch — Animal Control was called for a report of more than 30 dogs living in unsanitary conditions on the 9300 block of Rodesino Road.

7:06 p.m., West Point — A caller on the 500 block of Winton Road said her boyfriend refused to leave her house.

7:43 p.m., Valley Springs — A VCR was stolen from the 6300 block of Coultrup Lane.

8:39 p.m., Mokelumne Hill — A firefighter said two kids appeared to be breaking into a storage yard on Highway 26.

SATURDAY

8:48 a.m., Valley Springs — A child said a cat was stuck in a tree on the 3600 block of Antonovich Road.

3:24 p.m., Hathaway Pines — A maintenance worker was disputing his pay and refused to leave a house on the 5700 block of Darby Russell Road. A deputy arrived and the two parties reached an agreement.

4 p.m., San Andreas — A caller on the 300 block of Gold Strike Road said three juveniles were in a fist fight at Gold Strike Mobile Home Park. A deputy found that it was only an argument.

4:16 p.m., Rail Road Flat — A man was reportedly hitting a woman while driving on the 1500 block of Ridge Road. A deputy tracked down the pair. Both claimed it was only an argument and there were no visible injuries.

9:10 p.m., Angels Camp —A woman calling from her cell phone said she was locked in a storage shed on the 800 block of North Highway 49.

10:14 p.m., Burson — Domestic abuse was reported on the 200 block of Dana Road.

Fires

YESTERDAY

3:30 a.m., West Point — An escaped debris burn on the 3400 block of Rail Road Flat Road burned a spot of brush and bear clover. The cause was not available. Responding were California Department of Forestry and West Point Fire Protection District.

3:34 p.m., Jenny Lind — One acre of grass and brush burned on Jenny Lind Road. Responding were CDF, Foothills Fire Protection District, a CDF helicopter and an inmate crew from Baseline Conservation Camp.
