TUOLUMNE COUNTY Sheriff's reports MONDAY 6:44 a.m., Standard A county recreation employee said a fence was cut at Standard Park and a vending machine broken into. 8:43 a.m., Tuolumne area A caller on Yosemite Road said more than $7,000 was run up fraudulently on a credit card. 9:04 a.m., Jamestown A Chevrolet pickup truck stolen from a house on the 10500 block of River Oak Court was found in Ceres. 9:06 a.m., Crystal Falls A caller said two men who appeared to be homeless were sitting on a table outside a neighbor's house on Crystal Falls Drive. 9:25 a.m., Cold Springs A man on Old Mono Road found a small bag with marijuana inside along with glass smoking pipes. 9:47 a.m., Columbia area A man on the 11400 block of Columbia Village Drive said the brake lines were cut on his vehicle. 10:04 a.m., Columbia A woman said playground equipment was vandalized at Columbia 49er Preschool on the 11000 block of Jackson Street. 12:10 p.m., Mono Village A man on the 19500 block of Hillsdale Drive said the driver of a blue Toyota pickup truck dumped garbage in the caller's trash bin. 12:23 p.m., Twain Harte A woman on the 22700 block of Spruce Drive said her cabin was burglarized and a back door window broken. 2:33 p.m., Sonora area A woman on the 20000 block of Jamestown Road said her house was broken into through a window and a video game controller, a video camera and a still camera were stolen. 3:05 p.m., Strawberry A 24-year-old man was arrested on misdemeanor warrants on the 31800 block of Highway 108. 7:05 p.m., Jamestown A California Highway Patrol officer found three horses on Jacksonville Road and asked for an animal control officer to move them, but the CHP officer was able to get the animals behind a fence by himself. 9:46 p.m., Jamestown A man on the 19000 block of Rawhide Road said there was a prowler in the area. A deputy checked but found no one. Felony bookings MONDAY 1:29 a.m., Jamestown area Manuel James Soto, 34, 2500 block of Bridle Creek Court, Tracy, booked on a felony parole hold after an arrest on High School Road. He was also booked on suspicion of possessing drug paraphernalia and a hypodermic needle, both misdemeanors. He remained held this morning without bail. 1:35 a.m., Jamestown Holly Joy Howe, 22, unknown address on Deer Flat Road, Groveland, booked on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia after an arrest on Highway 108 at Rolling Hills Boulevard. No details were available. She was released on her own recognizance yesterday. Sonora police reports MONDAY 12:11 a.m., traffic accident No one was injured in an accident on Mono Way. 12:12 p.m., theft A caller said a backpack was stolen from near the Tuolumne County Library building on Greenley Road. 12:28 p.m., theft A caller said items were stolen from a vehicle parked in Sonora Crossroad shopping center. 10:57 p.m., suspicious circumstances A man on the 400 block of South Stewart Street said a jar of salsa was poured over his car. CALAVERAS COUNTY Sheriff's reports MONDAY 8:47 a.m., Arnold A deputy assisted a motorist that ran out of gas on Highway 4. 9:26 a.m., San Andreas Vandalism was caused by paintballs on the 200 block of West St. Charles Street. 10:05 a.m., Vallecito A caller on the 3900 block of Juniper Drive said loud music can be heard all the time. 10:21 a.m., San Andreas A deputy was requested at the County Board of Supervisors meeting to handle a person who was becoming agitated. 10:26 a.m., Sheep Ranch A person was sending letters to another person who has a restraining order against the letter sender on the 11100 block of Main Street. 11:10 a.m., San Andreas A theft was reported at Calaveras High School. 12:35 p.m., Wallace A vehicle parked at a gas station overnight was burglarized. 2:19 p.m., Murphys A bed was stolen from the 700 block of Larkspur Lane. 2:58 p.m., Valley Springs A house was burglarized on the first block of St. Andrews Drive. 5:26 p.m., Valley Springs Beer was stolen from a business on the first block of West Vista Del Lago Drive. 5:38 p.m., Jenny Lind Items were stolen from a vehicle on the 10100 block of Roach Drive. Felony bookings MONDAY 12:25 p.m., Valley Springs Chris Aaron Seyersdahl, 23, unknown address on Locksely Court, Paradise, booked on suspicion of possessing marijuana for sale, conspiring to commit a crime and being a felon in possession of a firearm. As of this morning, he remained in custody at the county jail in lieu of $85,000 bail. 7:50 p.m., Valley Springs Jason Scott Avalos, 26, first block of Chestnut Street, Valley Springs, booked on suspicion of possessing marijuana for sale, having methamphetamine and paraphernalia, receiving stolen property and conspiring to commit a crime. Avalos remained in custody this morning in lieu of $105,000 bail. 7:50 p.m., Valley Springs Kerrine Vanessa Goodwin, 21, first block of Chestnut Street, Valley Springs, booked on suspicion of possessing marijuana for sale, having methamphetamine and paraphernalia, receiving stolen property and conspiring to commit a crime. Goodwin remained in custody this morning in lieu of $105,000 bail. YESTERDAY 1:25 a.m., Valley Springs Eric Dean Marks, 20, 2000 block of Vista Del Lago Drive, Valley Springs, booked on suspicion of committing burglary. As of this morning, he remained in custody in lieu of $15,000 bail. Arrests Cited on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol: Jesse Chavez Maldonado Jr., 40, first block of Laurel Street, Valley Springs, booked at 10:05 p.m. Monday after arrest at the intersection of Highway 12 and Burson Road near Valley Springs. |
