The Sonora Police Department reported the following:
WEDNESDAY 11:50 a.m., drugs — Drugs were confiscated during a traffic stop on South Washington Street and the driver was warned for lighting issues. 4:02 p.m., public intoxication — A 40-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication and a Tulare County misdemeanor warrant after an arrest on West Jackson Street. 4:40 p.m., theft — Gas was siphoned from a vehicle on Greenley Road. 5:07 p.m., public intoxication — A 60-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication after an argument was reported on the 100 block of Stockton Road.
The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:
WEDNESDAY 10:35 a.m., Sonora area — A woman said money, pills, methadone and cigarettes were stolen from her purse in a shopping cart at a grocery store on the 13700 block of Mono Way. 11:46 a.m., Groveland — Someone left the scene of a non-injury vehicle accident at Highway 120 and Ferretti Road. 1:11 p.m., Sonora area — A man’s personal information was compromised to open a credit card with a retail store. 1:21 p.m., Sonora area — A woman’s bank card was fraudulently charged. 1:26 p.m., Jamestown — Credit card fraud was reported. 3:39 p.m., Tuolumne — A gun was stolen from a residence on the 18300 block of Yosemite Road. 8:13 p.m., Columbia — A shed on the 21400 block of Shaws Flat Road was broken into and metal bins were stolen.
Felony bookings
WEDNESDAY 4:12 p.m., Pinecrest — Evan James Rice, 23, of the 1900 block of Westminster Lane, Turlock, was booked on suspicion of petty theft with a prior petty theft conviction and burglary after an arrest on the 100 block of Dodge Ridge Road.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:
WEDNESDAY 11:07 a.m., San Andreas — A residence on Sunset Street was burglarized. 11:34 a.m., San Andreas — Someone was arrested on Main Street for a local warrant. 12:30 p.m., Valley Springs — Someone was arrested on Mittleman Court for a local warrant. 12:44 p.m., Arnold — A gas station on the 1200 block of Highway 4 received two counterfeit $20 bills. 1:23 p.m., Copperopolis — Theft from a residence on Calypso Beach Drive was reported. 3:25 p.m., Valley Springs — Equipment was stolen from a lawn on Usher Drive. 3:31 p.m., Dorrington — A residence on Meadow Lane was burglarized. 7:05 p.m., West Point — Two males were throwing bottles at cars driving on Bald Mountain Road near Highway 26. 8:02 p.m., Murphys — Someone presented a false invoice to a business on Main Street and was paid for services.
THURSDAY 1:33 a.m., Arnold — A middle-aged man and woman were drinking alcohol and trying to sneak into a hot tub on Dianna Drive. 7:30 a.m., San Andreas — A car was egged on Alfreda Street.

Cited on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs:
WEDNESDAY 12:31 p.m., Angels Camp — Steven Dwayne Almer, 46, was booked after an arrest on Highway 4 at Old Vallecito Road. He was also booked on suspicion of misdemeanor charges of evading and obstructing a public officer and driving with a suspended license.
