Sheriff's reports

TUESDAY

8:47 a.m., Jamestown — A man on the 10700 block of Wigwam Road said a gallon of motor oil, valued at $7, was taken from his front porch.

9:47 a.m., Twain Harte — A man on the 18900 block of Middle Camp Road said two men in a dark car shined a flashlight into the caller's carport. When the man asked what they were doing, they said they were looking for "Joel." When the men came back later, the caller let his dog out and the men drove away.

9:54 a.m., Soulsbyville — A woman said the public bathrooms on the 20500 block of Willow Springs Drive were vandalized.

10:19 a.m., Phoenix Lake area — A woman on the 16600 block of Oak Haven Lane said a flag valued at $10 to $15 was stolen from a pole in front of her house.

11:50 a.m., Twain Harte — A man said a burgundy-colored Jeep was parked in a ditch off Gina Avenue. He thought it was suspicious because it was packed with personal belongings.

3:26 p.m., Mormon Creek area — A man found a wallet on Highway 49 near Poppy Hills, and turned it over to Sonora Police. The wallet was returned to its owner.

3:34 p.m., Twain Harte — A woman said another woman came into Caffe Sumatra on the 23000 block of Fuller Road and started yelling at the caller. The woman then reportedly went to her car and got a baseball bat and threatened the caller's fiance.

5:12 p.m., Greenley Oaks — A caller on the 19000 block of Berg Court said a woman threatened to get a knife and stab the caller.

7:36 p.m., Sonora Meadows — A woman on the 21300 block of Green Meadow Lane said when she gave her friend a ride home, the woman tried to jump out of the vehicle, and when she got her home she fell down several times. The caller was worried the woman might have some broken bones.

11:02 p.m., Sonora — A "be-on-the-lookout" order was issued for two teens seen leaving the county Probation Department on South Washington Street headed toward Jamestown.

YESTERDAY

2:32 a.m., East Sonora — A man on the 19400 block of Sullivan Creek Road said he was awakened by a man throwing small rocks at his window. When the caller looked out the window, the man ran away.

YESTERDAY

5:55 p.m., Soulsbyville — Paula Jean Martin, 42, 16600 block of Allison Way, Sonora, booked on suspicion of making or passing worthless checks after arrest at her house. She remained in custody this morning in lieu of $10,000 bail.

6:10 p.m., Big Hill — Crystall Kathleen LaMarra, 53, 16100 block of Big Hill Road, booked on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance for sale and misdemeanor possession of marijuana after an arrest at her home. She remained in custody this morning in lieu of $100,000 bail.

TODAY

1:52 a.m., Sonora — Robert James Patrick, 22, 19900 block of Rough and Ready Trail, Sonora, booked on suspicion of rape and making criminal threats after arrest at his home.

Sheriff's Lt. John Steely said a woman went to Tuolumne General Hospital for treatment after allegedly being raped Wednesday night at New Melones Reservoir by a man she knew.

Steely said the woman gave investigators Patrick's name and address and he was arrested without incident. Patrick remains in custody this morning in lieu of $70,000 bail.

Cary Scott, 48, 18900 block of North Drive, Jamestown, booked at 2:23 a.m. today after arrest on Stockton Road and Fairview Drive, Sonora.

Sonora police reports

TUESDAY

1:34 a.m., public peace — A woman on the 200 block of Greenley Road called 911 and said a horn was blowing on and off.

10:52 a.m., lost property — A woman said she lost her wallet somewhere in Sonora.

10:53 a.m., theft — A woman on the 400 block of Greenley Road said someone stole an antique magazine rack from the front door of her residence. She said she was refurbishing the piece.

12:30 p.m., property damage — A woman from Tubz and Traditions on the 200 block of South Washington Street said a BB was shot into the front-door window. She said potted plants had been taken from the front door area.

4:32 p.m., traffic accident — A non-injury crash was reported on South Washington Street.

5:45 p.m., found property — A woman said she found a man's wallet near a business on the 300 block of South Washington Street.

5:50 p.m., theft — A woman said a cashmere jacket was stolen from her vehicle about 4 p.m. in the parking lot of a business on the 1200 block of Sanguinetti Road.

8:08 p.m., public intoxication — The California Highway Patrol told police a caller said his or her roommate had been drinking and threatening to kill the caller and the caller's dog.

9:10 p.m., vandalism — A 911 caller said a man had an argument with "kids" in front of a business on the 1100 block of Sanguinetti Road. According to a police report, the driver chased three young men, including a 20-year-old who police said swung a golf club and broke out the front window of the van. A witness told police the young men had sticks. The 20-year-old was arrested on suspicion of vandalism and released. The officer was unable to recover the clubs or sticks the witness said were thrown onto the roof of the business.

10:14 p.m., theft — A cab driver said he picked up two customers in Tuolumne and they did not pay when he dropped them off at a business on the 800 block of Sanguinetti Road.

6:38 p.m., San Andreas — A man on the 400 block of East St. Charles Street said a woman was destroying his property.

YESTERDAY

1:22 a.m., Diamond XX — A caller said trespassers were on the 5300 block of Hub Court, but when deputies arrived, they were gone.
