Sheriff's report

MONDAY

6:27 a.m., Sonora — A 28-year-old man was arrested on misdemeanor warrants on the 20 block of Lower Sunset Drive.

8:02 a.m., Tuolumne — A Summerville Elementary School maintenance employee said a metal door on the school's gymnasium was vandalized causing about $500 worth of damage.

10:02 a.m., Long Barn — A PG&E employee said a white Ford pickup truck had been parked behind a locked gate on Lyons Lake Road for over a week. The truck, last registered in 1998, was towed away.

10:08 a.m., Groveland — A Pine Mountain Lake security guard said about 20 gallons of gasoline were siphoned out of golf carts parked near the pro shop on the 12700 block of Mueller Drive.

11:15 a.m., Gibbs Ranch area — A woman said a man in his early 20s with long red hair was prowling around a house on the 20000 block of Gibbs Drive.

11:23 a.m., Jamestown — A man on the 11000 block of McKibbin Drive said items were stolen from his car and house.

11:37 a.m., Jamestown — A man on the 10600 block of Jim Brady Road said a battery was stolen from his truck parked outside overnight.

12:05 p.m., Sugar Pine — A caller said a vehicle parked on the 20100 block of Manzanita Street was vandalized overnight.

12:50 p.m., Cedar Ridge — A woman found two bicycles in bushes at the end of her driveway on Broken Pine Road.

1:36 p.m., Twain Harte — A Twain Harte Elementary School maintenance worker said a window in classroom number nine was broken with a rock.

2:29 p.m., Jamestown — A caller said a man was causing a disturbance at a restaurant on Main Street.

3:56 p.m., Columbia — A caller said a possibly drunken woman was walking from the Columbia Post Office toward Columbia Elementary School. A deputy was unable to find the woman.

4:31 p.m., Rancho Sonora Estates — A caller said a woman was on the side of Racetrack Road near Sonora Knolls screaming at cars as they go past. A deputy was unable to find the woman.

5:30 p.m., Crystal Falls — A woman said gasoline was stolen out of the back of her truck parked on the 20900 block of Niagara River Drive and a backyard water hose was cut.

5:32 p.m., Standard area — A woman said a man threatened to turn his pit bull dog on anyone who gets near his yard near the 12800 block of Mono Way.

5:55 p.m., Columbia — Two women living in a mobile home park on the 22400 block of South Airport Road were involved in a physical fight over "rumors." A deputy told the women to stay away from each other or look into getting an restraining order against each other.

6:16 p.m., Twain Harte — A woman said a camera was stolen from her vehicle parked on the 22900 block of Joaquin Gully Road.

6:37 p.m., Mono Village — A man on the 14600 block of Mono Way said a man driving a white Volvo was in the street videotaping the man's son as he was playing.

9 p.m., Groveland — A Pine Mountain Lake security guard said two people were fighting on the 19500 block of Grizzly Circle and one person ripped a phone out of a wall.

9:19 p.m., East Sonora — A caller said two men standing by a purple car were fighting in front of a fast food restaurant on the 13700 block of Mono Way.

11:17 p.m., Cedar Ridge — A man said people in five cars went up Mt. Elizabeth Road, possibly to have a party. A deputy went to the end of the road and cited four teens for violating curfew.

MONDAY

12:31 p.m., Groveland — A 43-year-old Groveland man booked on suspicion of felony spousal battery after an arrest at his home. He remained held this morning in lieu of $35,000 bail.

YESTERDAY

12:35 a.m., Jamestown — Curtis Dean Beauvais, 45, 16000 block of Jacksonville Road, Stent, booked on suspicion of vehicle theft, receiving stolen property and a felony parole violation as well as misdemeanor possession of a hypodermic needle and being an unlicensed driver after an arrest on Main Street at Donovan Street. No details were available. He remained held without bail this morning.

Nicholas G. Miller, 20, 16800 block of American River Drive West, Crystal Falls, booked at 7:25 p.m. Monday after arrest on Longeway Road at Crystal Falls Road, Soulsbyville area.

FRIDAY

12:21 a.m., traffic accident — A speeding vehicle hit a wall on the 800 block of Sanguinetti Road and drove off.

8:27 a.m., burglary — A woman said computers were stolen from the David Lambert Drop-in Center on the 300 block of West Jackson Street.

11:29 a.m., fraudulent activity — A woman on Elm Street said her driver's license may have been used fraudulently.

12:41 p.m., traffic accident — A woman said her vehicle parked at Sonora Plaza shopping center was hit by another car.

1:33 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A caller said a man appeared to be hitting a woman driver while the two were in a car on Mono Way that was weaving all over the road.

7:48 p.m., public intoxication — Two men, ages 22 and 24, were arrested on suspicion of public intoxication at an apartment on the 100 block of South Barretta Street.

10:55 p.m., public intoxication — A woman yelling as she walked down Snell Street was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication.

9:36 a.m., animal complaints — A caller said dogs were locked in a Toyota Camry parked at Sonora Regional Medical Center.

MONDAY

10:45 a.m., Valley Springs — A caller on the 2600 block of Ross Drive said someone vandalized their chandelier.

12 p.m., Valley Springs — A caller on the 5700 block of Rippon Road said someone was going through their vehicle, although they were unsure if anything was stolen.

12:06 p.m., Valley Springs — A caller on the 7700 block of Westhill Road said there was an ongoing problem with dirt bikes racing in the area.

12:54 p.m., San Andreas — A caller on the 400 block of East St. Charles Street asked that a deputy counsel her upset juvenile son.

2:58 p.m., Mokelumne Hill — Items were stolen out of two unlocked storage units on the 9200 block of East Highway 26.

3:13 p.m., Angels Camp —A possible drunken driver was driving east on Highway 49 from Angels Camp.

5:13 p.m., Valley Springs — A caller complained that dirt bikes were being raced near the intersection of Huckleberry Lane and Vista Del Lago Drive.

6:04 p.m., Burson — Checks were stolen on the 3200 block of Crestview Drive.

6:19 p.m., Valley Springs — A male was cited by the California Highway Patrol at the intersection of Silver Rapids Road and Laurent Lane. His dirt bike was impounded by the CHP, and officers were reporting several other dirt bikes in the area they wanted to also impound.

7:35 p.m., San Andreas — A male was yelling at a female and called her obscene names on the 400 block of West St. Charles Street.
