The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

    12:33 a.m., Sonora area — A woman on Robina Court said she thought she heard someone in the house, then realized it was a nightmare.
    3:42 a.m., East Sonora — A woman who’d just been thrown out of a nearby gas station for stealing coffee was found “pretending” to sleep in a cab parking lot on Industrial Way.
    12:58 p.m., Long Barn — A truck was vandalized by someone’s fist on Modoc Drive.
    1 p.m., East Sonora — A laptop computer was stolen on Mono Way at Cordelia Avenue.
    1:35 p.m., Sonora area — A vending machine was vandalized and broken into at the welfare department on Cedar Road North.
    2:57 p.m., Soulsbyville — A woman on the 20700 block of Willow Springs Drive said someone smeared dog feces inside her mailbox.
    5:36 p.m., Sonora area — A home was broken into on the 19800 block of Rough and Ready Trail and tools and an oxygen acetylene tank was stolen.
    5:54 p.m., Columbia — A man on the 23000 block of Parrotts Ferry Road said his front door was kicked in and items stolen from his home including jewelry.


    Cited on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs:

    2:02 a.m., Sonora — Jaime Valadez, 38, of 16700 block of Jacksonville Road, Jamestown, arrested on South Stewart Street at Church Street.
    11:20 p.m., Tuttletown area — Jennifer Lin Brinkman, 29, of an unknown address, arrested on Highway 49 at Rawhide Road.

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

    7:17 p.m., theft — A 19-year-old was cited on suspicion of theft on Stockton Road.


The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

    9:12 a.m., Burson — A fence was vandalized on Highway 12 at the post office.
    11:57 a.m., Valley Springs — Jewelry and items were reported stolen from a home on Cedar Street.
    3:29 p.m., Murphys — Items were stolen from a home on Tom Bell Road.
    7:10 p.m., Valley Springs — A home was broken into on Treosti Place.

Felony bookings

    8:25 a.m., Angels Camp — Travis Lane Woodbury, 23, of Gardner Lane, booked on suspicion of possession of drugs, and misdemeanor charges of drug paraphernalia and probation violation, after an arrest on the 600 block of Gardner Lane.
    2:04 p.m., San Andreas — Scott Kenneth Piper, 42, of the 2100 block of Goldstrike Road, San Andreas, booked on suspicion of drug possession after an arrest at his home.


    Cited on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol:

    1:25 a.m., Avery — David Gene Cargile Jr., 22, of the 4400 block of Moran Road, arrested on Avery Sheep Ranch Road.
    10:25 p.m., Valley Springs — Eleanor Rose Solo, 46, of the 8500 block of Hautly Lane, arrested on Baldwin Street at Mann Street.
