Sheriff's reports


6:46 a.m., Jamestown — A woman on the 18200 block of Highway 108 said a bicycle and a scooter were taken from her house.

8:37 a.m., Crystal Falls — A woman reported finding her motorhome, parked on the 21800 block of Russian River Drive, with windows broken, wires cut and the siding kicked in and hit with paintballs.

8:47 a.m., Jamestown — A man said his $650 bicycle was stolen off his car, parked on Main Street overnight.

10 a.m., Tuolumne — A caller said a woman was screaming at a house on the 20500 block of Ponderosa Way.

10:32 a.m., Jamestown area — A woman said she lost a black fanny pack with her drivers license in it while riding on the back of a motorcycle on O'Byrnes Ferry Road over the weekend.

2 p.m., Big Oak Flat — A man on the 11000 block of Wards Ferry Road said his vehicle was broken into between March 15 and Tuesday.

3:34 p.m., Lime Kiln Road area — A caller said a man in his 50s was holding a rifle while sitting in the back of a pickup truck parked at Sullivan Creek.

4:19 p.m., Pinecrest — A 40-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication after a man found him on the floor of a restroom at Pinecrest Lake.

4:42 p.m., Crystal Falls — A caller said teens on Suez Canal Drive were taunting the caller and another person.

5:07 p.m., Twain Harte — A man said two men were fighting in the Twain Harte Village Shopping Center as five or six people watched. The fight broke up before a deputy arrived.

5:34 p.m., Belleview Oakes — A house on the 21700 block of Water Oak Road was broken into through a bathroom window.

6:24 p.m., Jamestown — A caller said a man was walking down Seventh Avenue headed toward Main Street yelling at others and talking to himself. A deputy was unable to find the man.

11:32 p.m., Columbia area — A caller said the driver of a green Honda was driving 80 to 90 mph on Horseshoe Bend Road.


12:27 a.m., Groveland — A 36-year-old man was booked on suspicion of driving with a suspended license after a traffic stop on Homestead Road at Elder Lane.

5:15 a.m., Jamestown — A man was booked on a misdemeanor warrant after an arrest on Seventh Street at Fifth Avenue.


Cited on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol:

Patricia Anne Sakasitz, 44, 300 block of Alpine Lane, Sonora, booked at 10:45 p.m. Tuesday after arrest on Washington Street at Restano Way, Sonora.

Sonora police reports


6:21 a.m. burglary — A Tuolumne County employee came to work and found drawers open on desks in the Community Development Department. Nothing appeared to have been taken.

12:37 p.m., threats — A man on the 12000 block of Chukar Circle said he had received threats.

12:51 p.m., traffic violation — A driver was cited on suspicion of driving with a suspended license after a traffic stop on South Green Street.

4:23 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A Sonora High School employee said a person has been camping on school grounds on the 200 block of South Barretta Street.

5:17 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A caller said an attempted break-in was made to a house on the 50 block of North Poplar Street.

7:17 p.m., found property — A man found a wallet on a table at the Sonora Post Office on South Washington Street.

9:12 p.m., traffic accident — No one was injured in a traffic accident that occurred earlier in the day on the 400 block of Greenley Road.

7:03 a.m., Valley Springs — A caller on the 2700 block of Black Bart Drive said a man in a Ford Mustang had been staring at a neighbor's house.

7:29 a.m., Valley Springs — A caller on the 2600 block of Black Bart Drive said a suspicious person in a dark-colored vehicle was taking pictures of homes in the area.

10:25 a.m., Valley Springs — An argument between a husband and wife was reported on the 4500 block of Dunn Road.

12:46 p.m., Valley Springs — A trailer was vandalized in the Sequoia Rose Mobile Home Park on the 300 block of East Sequoia Avenue.

4:39 p.m., Valley Springs — A woman was reportedly lying next to her vehicle at the intersection of Olive Orchard Road and Highway 26.

5:12 p.m., Murphys — A caller at a convenience store on Highway 4 said a woman was hitting a man inside of a car. The caller said the pair left in an unknown direction.

5:42 p.m., Valley Springs — Threats were made to a resident of Castle Rock Mobile Home Park on the 200 block of Highway 12.

7:13 p.m., San Andreas — A domestic assault was reported on the first block of Market Street.

7:32 p.m., San Andreas — A disoriented woman searching for her grandson met up with helpful citizens who aided in reuniting the woman and child.

7:39 p.m., West Point — A caller on the 23000 block of Highway 26 said her ex-husband was on her property.

8:34 p.m., Murphys — A caller on the first block of Apple Blossom Drive reported a fight between two men associated with the same woman.

9:17 p.m., San Andreas — An out-of-control juvenile was counseled on the 500 block of Marshall Avenue.

10:55 p.m., San Andreas — A caller on the 1900 block of Gold Strike Road said her ex-boyfriend came to her house and yelled obscenities while throwing items around.


2:55 a.m., Mokelumne Hill — Threats were received on the 10600 block of Highway 26.



2:15 p.m., West Point — An escaped debris burn was reported on the 2300 block of Spink Road. Damage was estimated at $200 to one acre of grass. Darcy Matthews of West Point owns the property. West Point Fire Protection District, Central Fire Protection District, Mokelumne Hill Fire Protection District and California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection responded.
