TUOLUMNE COUNTY Sheriff's reports TUESDAY 8:16 a.m., Sonora area A woman on the 12700 block of Chukar Circle said someone got into both of her vehicles, but she didn't know if anything was missing. Another woman on the same block called about 30 minutes later to say a CD player was taken from her car and the glove box was broken. 8:51 a.m., Groveland A woman said she was having a problem with a man leaving a trailer on her property on the 11900 block of Ponderosa Lane. 9:24 a.m., Jamestown A man said employees at a motel on the 18700 block of Highway 108 harassed his family and accused them of sneaking other family members into a motel room. 10:22 a.m., Sonora area A man on the 20200 block of Gibbs Drive said someone stole CDs from his pickup truck. 10:57 a.m., Groveland A man said a framing saw was stolen from his friend's house on Merrell Road. 11:20 a.m., Twain Harte A man said someone broke into his neighbor's home on the 18500 block of Mono Pass. 11:29 a.m., Chinese Camp A man said his ex-girlfriend told him his clothes and other household items had been stolen from the 8700 block of Enterprise Drive. But he said his things were in the garage of her Sonora residence. 2:58 p.m., Twain Harte A woman said the owner of an inn on the 22900 block of Meadow Lane threatened her and tried to get her to pay for a room she did not use. 3:52 p.m., Jamestown A woman on the 18100 block of 6th Avenue said a big black dog was chasing people. 3:54 p.m., Big Hill A woman on the 12600 block of Big Hill Road said someone took her medication. 4:50 p.m., Tuolumne A man on the 18500 block of Laurel Avenue said he was evicting someone and the person cut an extension cord. 5:03 p.m., Jamestown A woman on the 10300 block of Preston Lane reported the theft of check and forgery. 6:37 p.m., Sonora area A woman on the 13700 block of Mono Way said someone hit her vehicle while it was parked. 7:48 p.m., Groveland A woman on the 13100 block of Mohrmann Street said she suspected someone was in her garage. She heard someone moving around and saw that a reclining chair had been moved. She also saw a shadow. Felony bookings TUESDAY 12:45 a.m., Sonora Daniel Lee Allen Clancy, 19, 20000 block of Rough and Ready Trail, Sonora, booked on suspicion of two burglaries and possession of a dangerous weapon after an arrest on the 200 block of Stockton Road. According to police reports, Clancy is suspected of burglarizing both Good Stuff on Stockton Road and Main Street Deli on North Washington Street. Clancy was found near Good Stuff with a 2-foot metal pipe shortly after police arrived to a alarm at the store. He remained held this morning in lieu of $15,000 bail. 5:02 p.m., Sonora Joshua Clyde Perry, 22, no address, Sonora, booked at the county jail on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance and receiving stolen property. He was already in custody in connection with a Crystal Falls murder. He remained held without bail. YESTERDAY 1:05 a.m., Sonora Ronald Kenneth Means, 31, 100 block of Snell Street, Sonora, booked on suspicion of damaging a phone line at his home. According to police reports, Means was in an argument at his home and disabled a telephone line there, which prevented the person he was fighting with to call the police. Means was released yesterday after posting $5,000 bail. 1:27 a.m., East Sonora Dean Monroe Vincelet, 35, 22100 block of Becky River Lane, Springfield, booked on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance after an arrest on the 14200 block of Mono Way. According to a sheriff's report, a caller reported a suspicious-looking person had been sitting in a car in a parking lot on the 14200 block of Mono Way for two hours. A hypodermic needle was found in Vincelet's possession, the report said. He remained held this morning in lieu of $10,000 bail. Arrests Cited on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol: Paul Jorge Tolbert, 22, 500 block of Skyline Drive, Daily City, booked at 1:40 a.m. Tuesday after an arrest on Parrotts Ferry Road, Columbia. Sonora Police Reports TUESDAY 8:30 a.m., animal complaint A caller said a large dog was running in traffic at the intersection of Cabezut and Greenley roads. 8:51 a.m., burglary A burglary was reported at Bob's Sonora Inn Barber Shop on the first block of Stockton Road. 11:21 a.m. burglary A caller said a conference room at the Sonora Inn was broken into Monday or Tuesday. 11:32 a.m. burglary A caller said a classroom at Cassina High School was burglarized. 12:15 p.m., suspicious circumstances A woman said she was told someone was going through items left by an evicted tenant on the 500 block of Snell Street. 4:38 p.m., animal complaints A large, long-haired dog was hanging around a parking lot on the 300 block of Fairview Lane. 5:31 p.m., theft A digital camera was stolen from a house on the 700 block of Oakside Drive. CALAVERAS COUNTY Sheriff's reports TUESDAY 11:43 a.m., San Andreas Threats were made at a social services agency on the 500 block of St. Charles Street. 12:23 p.m., Vallecito Someone suspected of being under the influence of drugs or alcohol was arrested on out-of-county warrants on the 3800 block of Juniper Drive. 2:41 p.m., San Andreas A vehicle accident was reported on Highway 26. 3:17 p.m., San Andreas A person who came to the Sheriff's Department lobby reported a missing 18-year-old son. 3:49 p.m., Stockton A man on the 3500 block of Quail Lakes Drive said his girlfriend stole his cell phone. 4:09 p.m., Mountain Ranch A possible case of elder abuse was reported on the 5400 block of Rail Road Flat Road. 5:23 p.m., Copperopolis A caller on the 4200 block of Little John Road said it sounded like someone was trying to break in through the garage. The house was secure when a deputy arrived. 8:05 p.m., Murphys A landslide on Murphys Grade Road was reported. 10:48 p.m., Murphys Deputies assisted the California Highway Patrol with traffic control around a rock slide on Utica Grade Road. YESTERDAY 3:23 a.m., San Andreas An intoxicated 18-year-old man was brought to the emergency room at Mark Twain St. Joseph's Hospital. |
