TUOLUMNE COUNTY

    The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

FRIDAY
    8:40 a.m., Jamestown — A 4-by-4-foot campaign sign was taken from the side of Highway 108 west of Chicken Ranch Road. Estimated loss was $60.
    10:11 a.m., Jamestown — A residence on the 18300 block of Fifth Avenue was burglarized. The owners’ dog was missing along with numerous items.
    11:03 a.m., La Grange — Someone cut a fence to get into a business on the 3300 block of El Prado Lane, then broke into a storage unit.
    1:36 p.m., East Sonora — A 20-year-old man in custody for shoplifting at a business on the 13700 block of Mono Way was arrested on suspicion of burglary.
    1:57 p.m., Jamestown — Someone at a business on the 18100 block of Highway 108 called to say a woman was caught on video stealing about $35 worth of merchandise.
    5:36 p.m., Sonora area — A resident of the 15900 block of Lime Kiln Road said someone opened an account with Amazon.com using her credit card information.
    5:36 p.m., La Grange — A man at an unknown address on Madreselva Street said the house next to his is empty and has a very bad smell. He went in through an unlocked sliding door and found what he thinks are two ferrets locked in the bathroom with no food or water.
    10:52 p.m., Columbia area  — Mud and rocks were reported in the road on both sides of the Parrotts Ferry Bridge.
   
SATURDAY
    7:41 a.m., Copperopolis area — A rock slide was reported on O’Byrnes Ferry Road near the Calaveras County line.
    7:47 a.m., Sonora area — A vehicle parked in front of a residence on the 21000 block of Jamestown Road was burglarized and numerous items were taken.
12:38 p.m., Sonora area — A woman on the 14400 block of Algerine Wards Ferry Road said someone broke into her locking mailbox Thursday afternoon. She wasn’t sure if any mail was stolen, but was concerned because she was the victim of identity theft last November.
    3:22 p.m., Tuolumne — A residence was burglarized on the 18200 block of Yosemite Road. Someone gained entry through a window after prying off the screen.
    7:51 p.m., Jamestown — A woman on the 10600 block of Wigwam Road said she is missing 12 oxycodone pills and would like to make a report.
    10:27 p.m., Sonora area — Someone at Sparrow Lane and Chukar Circle said kids were throwing snowballs with rocks inside at windows.
   
SUNDAY
    12:01 a.m., Sonora area — Someone on the 20500 block of Gopher Drive said about 15 kids were walking around the neighborhood and looking into cars. The caller was concerned because someone recently broke into his car.
    2:29 a.m., Twain Harte — A person was seen passed out by a pay phone on 22900 block of Joaquin Gully Road.
    9:28 a.m., Columbia — Someone broke into a vacation home on the 22200 block of Gunsight Road and stole two chain saws, a wheel barrow and a Honda 2500-watt generator.
    7:59 p.m., Twain Harte — A man on the 22700 block of Bret Harte Drive said a drunk woman came to his door saying that she was drinking at a bar and her boyfriend left to go to Oakdale. She said she was staying at a nearby cabin but didn’t know where it was located. The man told sheriff’s dispatchers that he didn’t want to kick her out in the snow, but was unable to leave his residence to take her anywhere.
    8:46 p.m., Jamestown — A woman on the 18100 block of Fourth Avenue said a man knocked on her door and then let himself in. He said that he needed to use the phone, but then wanted to stay and talk for awhile. She said the man finally left after asking for a cigarette, but she didn’t know where he went.

TUESDAY
    11 a.m., Columbia — A man on the 11700 block of Yankee Hill Road said someone called him claiming to be with a security service and asked whether he had a house alarm. The man told the caller he did not and was not interested in buying one. He later became suspicious of the call and tried calling the number back, but it was disconnected. He looked the number up on the Internet and found it was registered to a Modesto cell phone.
    1:24 p.m., Chinese Camp — Someone stole about $6,200 worth of railroad ties from Sierra Pacific Industries on Perricone Road over the weekend.
    2 p.m., Mi-Wuk Village — A woman on the 24200 block of Aspen Lane said she heard a strange noise during the night and in the morning discovered her fence was bent and fresh footprints were in her yard.
    3:32 p.m., Tuttletown — A half spool of well wire was stolen from the 20700 block of Jackass Hill Road.
    8:18 p.m., Columbia — Several items were stolen from a residence on the 22400 block of South Airport Road. The burglar gained entry to the house through a doggie door.

FRIDAY
    2 p.m., Sonora area — Lisa Nicole O’Connor, 30, and Sean Timothy O’Connor, 31, both of the 22400 block of South Airport Road, were booked on suspicion of receiving stolen property, while in custody at Tuolumne County Jail on other charges.
    2:08 p.m., East Sonora — Christopher Lee Sauerwein, 30, of the 1200 block of Walnut Street, Oakdale, was booked on suspicion of burglary, after an arrest on the 13700 block of Mono Way.

SUNDAY
    2:29 a.m., Jamestown — Andrea Gail Dickinson, 28, of the 18200 block of Ninth Avenue, was booked on suspicion of assault, after an arrest at her home.
    9:19 p.m., Jamestown — Andrew Michael Carrier, 22, of the 11900 block of Campo Seco Road, Sonora, was booked on suspicion of carrying a concealed dirk or dagger, after an arrest on the 18100 block of Sixth Avenue.

TUESDAY
    12:37 p.m., Columbia — Douglas Alan Yates, 31, a transient, was booked on suspicion of possessing a belt-buckle knife, after an arrest on the 22500 block of Quail Mine Road.
    1:52 p.m., Sonora area — Raymond Lee Nicolini, 25, of the 21300 block of Phoenix Lake Road, was booked on suspicion of illegal possession of a firearm, after an arrest at his home.
    10:41 p.m., Groveland — Marc John Dejong, 43, of the 11000 block of Yosemite Springs Road, was booked on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and obstructing a telephone line, after an arrest on the 10900 block of Yosemite Springs Road.

SATURDAY
    2:15 a.m., Twain Harte — Robert John Kole, 47, of the 800 block of West Sunset Street, Sonora, was arrested at Twain Harte and Hunts drives.
    4:39 p.m., Sonora — Kristina Dawn Bronstein, 46, was arrested at Wyckhoff and Snell streets.

SUNDAY
    12:15 a.m., Sonora — Carrie Christine Marquez, 31, of the 1500 block of Moffet Road, Ceres, was arrested at Stewart and Gold streets.
    3:05 a.m., Sonora area — Sharon Ann Blades, 70, of the 19300 block of Rockridge Way, was arrested at Highway 49 and Golf Links Road.
    4:18 p.m., Groveland — Gregory Neil Shatraw, 31, of the 20700 block of Big Foot Circle, was arrested on Highway 120 east of Grizzly Circle.

    The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

FRIDAY
      7:24 p.m., driving under the influence — The vehicle belonging to a woman reported to have been weaving in and out of traffic and driving erratically was located in front of a business and she was inside, consuming alcohol. She was gone when officers checked later, and business employees said she left in a cab.
    7:33, traffic accident — A non-injury accident occurred in a Sanguinetti Road parking lot, and officers were called when one of the people involved refused to provide the other with any information. Officers stood by while the information was exchanged.

SATURDAY
    11:47 a.m., public peace — Two people attempted to rent a room at an inn on South Washington Street, but were denied by the front desk clerk. The couple was transported from the property by police after allegedly yelling vulgarities at the clerk.

SUNDAY
    12:38 a.m., weapons violations — An officer was flagged down by a citizen who said a man wearing a “bomber” style jacket and dark baseball cap was brandishing a knife to a patron outside of a bar on South Washington Street. Officers checked the area but were unable to locate the suspect.
    4:05 p.m., battery —  A 45-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of misdemeanor battery after another man at a bar on South Washington Street told police he was assaulted by the suspect.

TUESDAY

    3:51 p.m., identity theft — Someone on Alpine Lane reported an identity theft.
    7:05 p.m., drugs — Someone said they saw a man smoking drugs in a car parked at a lot on Sanguinetti Road.

    The Sheriff’s Department reported the following:

FRIDAY
    8:28 a.m., Valley Springs — Vandalism was reported on Hogan Dam Road.
    11:27 a.m., Copperopolis — A suspicious male with no shirt was stopping traffic on Arrowhead Street.
    1:36 p.m., Valley Springs — A van was vandalized with paint on Paloma Road.
    2:30 p.m., Valley Springs — A cell phone was stolen from Double Springs Road.
    4:23 p.m., Copperopolis — Motorhomes were vandalized on Copper Cove Court.
    5:20 p.m., Campo Seco — A residential burglary occurred on Paloma Road.
   
SATURDAY
    3:01 a.m., Murphys — A physical fight occurred on Main Street.
8:59 a.m., Burson — Security lights were stolen from Pattison Road.
    11:52 a.m., Valley Springs — The assembly was stolen from a trailer on Garner Place.
    3:54 p.m., Arnold — A report was taken for a trespassing on Polly Court.
    8:33 p.m., Murphys — An arrest was made for public intoxication on Church Street.

SUNDAY
    12:07 a.m., Murphys — An arrest was made for public urination on Main Street.
    1:37 a.m., Valley Springs — An arrest was made for public intoxication and battery on Paradise Peak.
    11:20 a.m., Valley Springs — Someone on Hartvickson Lane said a short, heavy-set man wearing an orange rain jacket was walking down the road looking in all of the mail boxes.
   
TUESDAY
    11:37 a.m., Burson — A physical assault occurred on South Burson Road.
    2:31 p.m., Valley Springs — A counterfeit bill was received at a fast food restaurant on East Highway 12.
    3:33 p.m., Mountain Ranch — A theft occurred on Spring Gulch Road.
    5:51 p.m., Valley Springs — Property was stolen on Garner Place.

SATURDAY
    2:06 a.m., Valley Springs — Kristopher Austin King, 30, of the 1100 block of Havlicek Lane, Lodi, was arrested at Highway 26 and Gold Nugget Drive.
    2:06 a.m., Valley Springs — Tasha Diane Thornton, 42, of the 700 block of Saint Andrews Road, was arrested at Highway 26 and Gold Nugget Drive.

SUNDAY
    12:30 a.m., Murphys — Brian Grant Galas, 38, of the 100 block of Ernest Street, was arrested at Algiers and Main streets.

Felony bookings

MONDAY
    12:20 a.m., Valley Springs — Norma Janette Snow, 60, of the 6100 block of Crosel Court, Rancho Calaveras, was booked on suspicion of child endangerment, after an arrest on the 5800 block of Baldwin Street.
