WEDNESDAY

8:27 a.m., Columbia — A man said while he was at a storage unit on Parrotts Ferry Road a woman started fighting with him. He said she slapped him in the face and tried to knock a cigar out of his mouth.

9:20 a.m., Soulsbyville — A woman said her daughter got in trouble with a Sonora High School bus driver for having a cigarette while at a bus stop on Willow Springs Drive. The woman wanted to know why the person who is supplying cigarettes is not getting into trouble.

10:13 a.m., Sierra Village — A woman on the 24900 block of Highway 108 said her car was "keyed" sometime in the last few days.

10:54 a.m., Tuolumne — A woman on the 20000 block of Moonbeam Circle said someone tried to pry open her front door. The door latch was cut and a piece of metal put into the keyhole.

11:12 a.m., Crystal Falls — A man on the 21900 block of Crystal Falls Drive said two windows on his car were broken out Tuesday with a piece of firewood while the car was parked at the bottom of his driveway.

12:28 p.m., Twain Harte — A caller on the 19000 block of Middle Camp Road said a car was egged and trash put into the wheel wells.

12:41 p.m., Scenic Heights — A man called 911 to say while driving on Longeway Road near Scenic Heights, he saw two boys walking along the road, and one of the boys pointed what looked to him like a gun.

1:35 p.m., Groveland — A caller said cash and silverware have been taken from his house on the 19000 block of Oak Grove Circle.

1:36 p.m., Big Oak Flat — Two callers said a woman and a man were fighting on New Priest Grade and after the man punched the woman, she ran away into the canyon. The man started screaming "his old lady just went over the side of the road."

When deputies arrived, they found the woman, who suffered a sprained ankle. The man fled in a silver-colored SUV. A be-on-the-lookout order was issued for the man, said to be on his way to Modesto.

3 p.m., Jamestown — An apartment manager at a complex on the 10300 block of Preston Lane said a man who appeared to be drunk was lying in a breezeway.

5:44 p.m., Jamestown — A 5-gallon propane tank was stolen from a house on the 15000 block of Egan Road.

6:35 p.m., Tuolumne — A Black Oak Casino security officer said the casino had received a $10 bill that someone tried to make look like a $100 bill.

WEDNESDAY

10:44 a.m., suspicious circumstances — A woman on Child Road said someone was parked in an orange car at the end of the road.

11:35 a.m., animal complaints — A woman on the 1000 block of South Washington Street said she found a puppy with a collar and tags at her house.

1:08 p.m., animal complaints — A caller at Sonora High School, on the 400 block of North Washington Street, said there was a dog in the teachers' work room.

1:19 p.m., parking — A woman on the 600 block of Shaws Flat said a black Honda Civic had been parked there all morning.

6:45 p.m., agency assist — A caller requested a welfare check on a suicidal man on the 200 block of Greenley Road. The man requested an ambulance because he said he felt like he wanted to die.

YESTERDAY

12:02 a.m., suspicious circumstances — A man on the 14600 block of Mono Way said he was being treated at Tuolumne General Hospital when another man who was stalking him came into the lobby.

12:07 a.m., suspicious circumstances — A man at an undisclosed address asked if he could leave his home after he read on the Internet, "Red alert — if you leave your home, you will be arrested." Dispatchers told the man not all information on the Internet is valid and advised him to listen to local radio or television for instructions.

1:33 a.m., suspicious circumstances — An officer check a restaurant on South Stewart Street because the door was open. It turned out a cleaning crew was working there.

6:06 a.m., public peace, fight, disorderly conduct — A man on the 200 block of Greenley Road said a neighbor was at his door making noise.

7:57 a.m., Valley Springs — A caller found a red plastic container lodged in a barbed-wire fence on Hogan Dam Road.

9:17 a.m., Valley Springs — A woman saw a brown van on Warren Road near Evergreen Road with a child reaching for a window and the driver trying to hold the child down. A deputy was unable to find the van.

9:19 a.m., Vallecito — A Vallecito High School employee said a student had drug paraphernalia and marijuana on campus.

10:31 a.m., Arnold — A laptop computer was stolen two days ago from a car parked on the 800 block of Highway 4.

11:43 a.m., Arnold — A wood splitter was vandalized on the 3400 block of Lakewood Drive.

4:35 p.m., Avery — A caller said a teen was firing a BB gun at cars and homes on the 4400 block of Moran Road.

4:40 p.m., San Andreas — Two teens were cited and released to their parents after allegedly shoplifting from Treats General Store on Highway 49.

10:13 p.m., Valley Springs — A man was arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct after deputies were called to a house on the 600 block of Butler Lane.
