THURSDAY

7:52 a.m., Jamestown — A man on the 10200 block of Preston Lane said a shepherd-husky mix dog was apparently shot its his hip.

8:16 a.m., Columbia — A woman said her car, parked on the 12000 block of Columbia College Drive, was broken into overnight and a stereo and CDs were stolen.

8:39 a.m., Jamestown — A caller said a man put a small Altoids box underneath an ore cart in Rocca Park then drove away in a small green car.

8:53 a.m., Sonora Meadows — A woman on the 21300 block of Ridgeview Drive said a pit bull killed her cat.

8:57 a.m., Groveland — A man said his cabin on Evergreen Road was burglarized and sleeping bags, a flashlight and other items were stolen.

9:45 a.m., Jamestown — A woman on Golf Links Road said a man driving a bright red, full-size pickup stopped at her house to ask if she wanted her driveway resurfaced. She was worried the man might have been trying to scam elderly residents.

10:36 a.m., East Sonora — A caller said a man wearing a white T-shirt and a straw hat and driving a white pickup was dumping brush at the end of Bergel Road.

1:30 p.m., Jamestown — A woman said her husband's briefcase with sketches and a digital camera inside was stolen from Railtown 1897 State Historic Park.

4:42 p.m., Tuolumne — A woman said while she was riding her horse on Robin Ridge Road, a man drove by and would not give her the right of way and threw gravel, which scared the horse.

5:19 p.m., Tuolumne — A caller said a woman who appeared to be drunk was walking on Tuolumne Road near the old Westside property, kicking a puppy and jerking a chain leash.

5:27 p.m., Jamestown — A woman on the 18000 block of Eighth Avenue said her son saw a boy who stole his bicycle a couple of days ago.

6:19 p.m., Groveland — A woman on the 19600 block of Elder Lane said two people were taking items out of an apartment that didn't belong to them .

6:22 p.m., Phoenix Lake area — A woman said a neighbor on Elizabeth Lane came out of his house and shot a dog.

9:26 p.m., Tuolumne — A man said teenage kids were running from Mother Lode Christian School carrying tether balls that were stolen from the school. The man recovered the balls, but the kids ran off.

FRIDAY

1:53 a.m., Jamestown area — A man driving east on Highway 108 near La Grange Road said the driver of a white Dodge Neon sped past the caller going about 100 mph.

7:34 a.m., Groveland — A man at a business on the 31100 block of Hardin Flat Road said two batteries and an air fitting were stolen.

7:37 a.m., Jamestown — A woman said a "scruffy looking" man parked his car in front of her home on the 10300 block of Willow Street and left.

7:46 a.m., Sonora area — A woman said someone sliced all the window screens on an office building on the 19900 block of Greenley Road.

8:48 a.m., Tuolumne — A man said someone had broken into his guest house on the 18700 block of Cedar Street.

10:15 a.m., Jamestown — A caller said a mountain bike was stolen from his patio on the 18100 block of Fifth Avenue.

10:52 a.m., Big Oak Flat — A caller said a woman just came into a store on the 17400 block of Highway 120, said her husband attached a bomb to her car, then went into the store's bathroom and refused to come out.

12:16 p.m., Soulsbyville — A caller said someone has been cutting down and burning his trees on the 16000 block of Curtis Circle.

2:08 p.m., Jamestown — A woman said her house on the 13900 block of Tulloch Dam Road was burglarized Friday.

3:26 p.m., Jamestown — A man said his vehicle was broken into while he was fishing on Tulloch Dam Road.

3:32 p.m., Jamestown — A caller on Main Street said a man was hanging around the park scaring children.

4:19 p.m., Tuolumne — A woman said three children on dirt bikes were trespassing on her property on the 18400 block of Hershey Road.

7:35 p.m., Twain Harte — A woman on the 22900 block of Joaquin Gully Road said her son and daughter were harassed when they got off the bus.

8 p.m., Jamestown — A woman on the 18000 block of Seco Street said two people were beating on her car.

8:36 p.m., Phoenix Lake area — A caller on the 21700 block of Fortuna Mine Road said a neighbor's garage door was open. The neighbor lives out of town.

9:08 p.m., Jamestown — A woman on the 10300 block of Preston Lane said she could see her neighbors shooting up drugs across the street.

9:51 p.m., Tuolumne — A caller from a business on Main Street said a group of boys was throwing garbage cans out into the street.

SATURDAY

1:59 a.m., Jamestown — A caller said a few people were causing a disturbance at a business on the 18100 block of Main Street.

8:21 a.m., Twain Harte — A woman said someone has stolen plants from her vacation house's yard on the 18400 block of Tatu Avenue.

9:58 a.m., Long Barn — A woman on the 25800 block of Long Barn Sugarpine Road said things were stolen from outside her vacation cabin.

10:03 a.m., Sonora area — A Sonora Police officer said a carpet company was dumping potentially hazardous waste on Campo Seco Road.

12:31 p.m., Long Barn — A woman on the 25800 block of Long Barn Sugarpine Road said items were stolen from her vacation cabin.

1:28 p.m., Jamestown — A man said his wallet was stolen from his truck while he was parked on Main Street.

4:25 p.m., Columbia — A California Highway Patrol officer said a stop sign was missing at the intersection of Yankee Hill and Sawmill Flat roads.

4:32 p.m., Sonora area — A man said he found a purse at the back of his property on the 16300 block of Hidden Valley Road.

4:52 p.m., Columbia — A woman said three different vehicles were broken into at the Natural Bridges trailhead on Parrotts Ferry Road.

6:08 p.m., South County area — A woman said seven signs were vandalized at Chamise and Manzanita campgrounds on Reynolds Ferry Road during the night.

7:55 p.m., Tuolumne — A woman on the 20100 block of Tuolumne Road North said she was assaulted the night before.

11:25 p.m., Sonora area — A woman said a man was sneaking around outside her home on the 17600 block of Murphy Court.

Felony bookings

FRIDAY

8:55 a.m., Sonora — A 28-year-old Oakdale man booked on a Stanislaus County warrant charging him with felony spousal battery and making criminal threats after an arrest at the Tuolumne County Jail where he was held on local charges. No details were available.

He was taken to the Stanislaus County Jail Friday.

11:35 a.m., Columbia — Carol Elizabeth Carlson, 41 and Hoy Jerald Nicholson, 57, both of the 22400 block of South Airport Road, Columbia, booked on suspicion of manufacturing a controlled substance, possession of ephedrine and child endangerment after an arrest at their home.

Tuolumne County Narcotics investigators received information Carlson and Hoy were making methamphetamine in the house. Investigators got a search warrant and went to the house Friday morning, said Deputy Ken Diaz.

Inside the house, investigators found acetone, lantern fuel, red phosphorus, ephedrine and other chemicals used to make methamphetamine. Diaz said Carlson and Nicholson admitted making methamphetamine on Thursday night. When the officers raided the home, an 11-year-old boy was there. He was also at the house when the methamphetamine was being made the night before, deputies said.

Carlson also was booked on suspicion of knowingly maintaining a house where controlled substances were made. A 49-year-old Tuolumne man was there and was cited and released for driving with a suspended driver's license.

Carlson and Nicholson remained held this morning in lieu of $200,000 bail each.

THURSDAY

7:39 a.m., parking violation — A caller said an unwanted vehicle was parked in a driveway on North Norlin Street. An officer found the owner, who said the vehicle would be moved.

8:31 a.m., hazardous situation — A caller said a loose cow with a halter on its head was in the middle of Sanguinetti Road at Old Wards Ferry Road.

5:54 p.m., theft — A woman said her locked vehicle parked on the 400 block of Greenley Road was broken into to overnight.

8:38 p.m., trespassing — A Wal-Mart employee said an older man with scraggly hair and beard refused to leave the store when asked.

FRIDAY

12:28 p.m., property damage — A caller said a man in a white truck damaged a gas dispenser at a gas station on Pesce Way.

12:58 p.m., traffic accident — A non-injury accident between a motor home and a parked vehicle occurred at the corner of South Washington and Theall streets.

1:05 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A caller said a group was drinking on the 400 block of Greenley Road.

2:14 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A caller said trash was accumulating at a boarded-up house and burning coal was found in the fireplace.

4:20 p.m., traffic accident — A non-injury accident occurred on the 100 block of South Washington Street.

4:24 p.m., trespassing — A caller said a woman banned from Wal-Mart had returned and refused to leave.

7:15 p.m., traffic accident — An accident occurred at the corner of Church and Shepherd streets.

8:07 p.m., disorderly conduct — A woman said a group was running after someone who ran in front of her vehicle on South Washington Street.

8:44 p.m., hazardous situation — A caller said a bus was blocking Green Street.

9:13 p.m., found property — A knife was brought to the police department for destruction.

SATURDAY

1:02 a.m., disorderly conduct — A caller on the 500 block of South Stewart said several people were on their porch and yelling at cars as they drive by.

10:49 a.m., found property — A caller found a scooter in the bushes on the 300 block of Elk Drive.

11:57 a.m., traffic accident — A traffic accident occurred at the corner of South Stewart Street and East Lyons Road.

3:55 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A man and a child were seen running in the field in back of an office building on Morning Star Drive.

7:49 p.m., liquor violations — A caller said children were being allowed to drink on the 200 block of Greenley Road.

9:53 p.m., reckless driving — An off-duty police officer said he was following a possible drunken driver on Highway 108.

YESTERDAY

12:33 a.m., suspicious circumstances — A caller said a man on the 100 block of South Washington Street told him he was hiding from the police.

7:20 p.m., Burson — A man was seen staggering down the 12100 block of Brandy Lane.

7:59 p.m., Valley Springs — A man said a house on the 200 block of Sequoia Avenue is usually locked, but the back door was open.

9:54 p.m., San Andreas — A pair of sunglasses was taken from the Harris Food Mart.

10:14 p.m., San Andreas — A caller on the 400 block of Roberts Avenue said a woman was outside knocking on a bedroom window.

3:33 p.m., Valley Springs — A caller on the 200 block of Cedar Street said a man was in a yard across the street "yelling obscenities to the sky."

3:42 p.m., San Andreas — A caller said a crowd of children appeared to be preparing for a fight in Turner Park.

4:47 p.m., Murphys — A caller said there are four "belligerent drunks" yelling at people on the 400 block of Main Street.

4:49 p.m., Valley Springs — A woman on the 300 block of East Sequoia Avenue said her grandson assaulted her.

9:35 p.m., San Andreas — A patient walked out of the Mark Twain St. Joseph's Hospital after throwing things around the emergency room.

10:18 p.m., Arnold — A caller said someone pulled up to and shined a flashlight around a house on the 600 block of Dawyn Drive.

SATURDAY

1:37 a.m., San Andreas — Two children were in a verbal fight on the 500 block of Mountain Ranch Road.

4:50 p.m., Vallecito area — A caller said cars parked at Natural Bridges recreation area were broken into.

5:45 p.m., Hathaway Pines — A caller said a man and a woman were screaming at each other in a bus stop on the 5000 block of Highway 4.

6:44 p.m., Mountain Ranch — A caller said a suspicious vehicle was on Old Greek Mine Road and the caller was sure the driver was involved in drug activity.

6:47 p.m., Wallace — A caller saw a vehicle parked behind a vacant house on the 7400 block of Stagestop near Ospital Road. A deputy checked and found an open door, but nothing else amiss.

YESTERDAY

12:21 a.m., Lake Camache — A camper evicted from a South Shore campground caused a disturbance. A deputy encouraged the man to leave.

7:50 a.m., Copperopolis — A caller said people were in a house boat on the 1000 block of Feather Court that was supposed to be unoccupied.

10:45 a.m., Valley Springs — A deputy issued a citation to the driver of a car parked illegally in a handicap zone at the Valley Springs Post Office.

11:54 a.m., Arnold — A house on the 1800 block of Stanislaus Drive was broken into.

11:57 a.m., San Andreas — A man was arrested on suspicion of misdemeanor public drunkenness and causing a disturbance in the Mark Twain St. Joseph's Hospital parking lot.

1:13 p.m., Dorrington — A house on the 3800 block of Ben Thorn Drive was broken into.

1:32 p.m., Railroad Flat — A woman on the 1300 block of Raygen Lane said a neighbor threw a dead goat over a fence onto her property.
