The Sheriff’s Department reported the following:
11:13 a.m., Valley Springs — An argument took place on Paradise Peak.
11:41 a.m., Copperopolis — Several loud booms keep occurring around Copper Cove and O’Byrnes Ferry Road.
2:23 p.m., Valley Springs — A global positioning system was stolen from a golf cart from a business on Highway 26.
3:46 p.m., Mokelumne Hill — A theft was reported on Doster Road, and the officer noted it as a property dispute.
7:53 p.m., Arnold — People are at a vacation home on El Dorado Drive and the caller doesn’t think they’re the owners.
8:38 p.m., Valley Springs — A vehicle was seen at a foreclosed house on Laurent Lane.
8:45 p.m., Valley Springs — A fight broke out on Rose Street and a woman was arrested for public intoxication.
11:07 p.m., Arnold — A man was swearing and yelling at a woman to get out on Tipton House Road.
11:34 p.m., Angels Camp — Someone was sleeping in a truck at a business on Highway 49. A citation was served.
3:53 a.m., San Andreas — A suspicious vehicle was reported on Bargers Court.
The Sonora Police Department reported the following:
7:41 a.m., vehicle theft — An attorney reported a possible embezzled vehicle. The attorney’s client loaned the vehicle to a friend, who refuses to return it.
7:58 a.m., burglary — A lock to a shed at the Tuolumne County Senior Center was cut and the door was left open, but nothing appeared to be missing.
12:20 p.m., theft — A juvenile was arrested at his Tuolumne home on suspicion of possession of drugs, burglary, elder abuse, conspiracy and possession of stolen property.
12:39 p.m., theft — A young man stole an iPhone from the 100 block of Bradford Street and left on a bicycle. Police were unable to locate him.
1:43 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A man was going through people’s yards on Shepherd Street and Stewart Street.
3:17 p.m., reckless driving — A man was using his laptop and cellphone while driving at South Washington Street and Stockton Road.
4:25 p.m., trespass/ unwanted person — A man at a business on the 100 block of South Washington Street said something about one person getting out alive. Police told the man to not return to the business.
4:45 p.m., traffic citation — A juvenile was cited on suspicion of using a cellphone while driving and violation of license restrictions.
8:07 p.m., theft — An iPhone was stolen from Sonora High School.
The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:
8:23 a.m., Cedar Ridge — People have been trespassing on 24300 block of Kewin Mill Road. The property owner found trash and a camp fire.
9:31 a.m., Sonora — An air hose nozzle was stolen from a business on 14800 block of Mono Way. It was returned to police.
10:35 a.m., La Grange — An officer attempted to settle an ongoing problem between neighbors on the 13400 block of Salinas Street. One neighbor’s dogs are allegedly often on the other’s porch and this morning that neighbor’s children were also in his garage. The neighbor in question swore at him when he confronted her about it.
10:42 a.m., Jamestown — A Wacker LT4 Light Tower was stolen from a property on Highway 108 and Chicken Ranch Road.
10:44 a.m., Twain Harte — A woman let someone stay in her apartment on the 18800 block of Manzanita Drive and numerous items were taken.
10:46 a.m., Sonora — A fight or disturbance occurred on the 100 block of Yaney Avenue.
12:03 p.m., Sonora — A man gave someone access to his computer and is now concerned his information is being used. He has not used his cellphone in two years, and a neighbor recently received a call from it.
1:01 p.m., Jamestown — A woman on the 17900 block of Seco Street reported that a neighbor told her daughter she was going to kill her cat, and later that she was going to burn her house down. The officer concluded that the neighbor said she was going to take the cat to the pound and that she had no intention of burning the house down, but was quoting song lyrics.
1:01 p.m., Sonora — Firearm ammunition fell out of someone’s truck around Mono Way and Fir Drive and someone else picked it up and took it.
1:13 p.m., Sonora — An white iPhone 4 with a purple and teal case was stolen 100 block of West Bradford Avenue by a man on a bike.
1:41 p.m., Sonora — A suspicious man was reported on Nugget Boulevard and Camage Avenue as wearing blue jeans and no shirt with a slender build and long blonde hair.
4:42 p.m., Twain Harte — Two rifles were stolen, last seen about 3 months ago on the 23100 block of Black Hawk Lane.
5:26 p.m., East Sonora — A man reported from the 16600 block of Hillside Drive that his brother may have been the victim of elder financial and emotional abuse.
7:42 p.m., Groveland — A man and woman were causing a disturbance and the man broke her phones because she was calling police on the 12700 block of Hetch Hetchy Court.
9:57 p.m., Sonora area — A loud bang was heard in one of the vacant homes on 20300 block of Eureka Drive. One of the homes was recently disturbed.
10:52 p.m., Mi-Wuk Village — A woman reported someone banging on her door, then walking around their deck and banging on things on the 24800 block of Highway 108.
11:17 p.m., Jamestown — Someone reported their neighbor threatened them by pointing at them as if holding a gun and said “Bang, bang” on the 10100 block of Peppermint Circle.
12:09 a.m., Twain Harte — Two people were heard whispering outside a door on the 19800 block of Wanita Way.
12:36 a.m., Jamestown — A trailer near Tenth and Seventh avenues is supposed to be vacant and may have homeless people in it.
12:01 a.m., Sonora — Rocco Angelo Costanza, 43, of the 400 block of Southgate Drive, was booked on suspicion of battery with serious bodily injury and a misdemeanor charge of battery after an arrest on Barretta Street at Lytton Street.
10:14 a.m., Sonora — Randall Hall Banks, 50, of the 100 block of Linoberg Street, was booked on suspicion of possession of drugs, transporting drugs for sale between counties and a misdemeanor warrant after an arrest on the 800 block of Mono Way.
1:46 p.m., East Sonora — Anthony Joseph Richter, 23, of the 19600 block of Serrano Road, was booked on suspicion of possession of stolen property after an arrest on the 13700 block of Mono Way.
