TUOLUMNE COUNTY The Sonora Police Department reported the following: WEDNESDAY 9:24 a.m., assault — Assault was reported on the 400 block of South Washington Street. 11:45 a.m., suspicious circumstances — A man wearing only a white towel was reportedly sitting in the grass and howling outside the 1000 block of Greenley Road. 12:12 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A reportedly intoxicated woman said she was going to drive around and look for her daughter. 3:17 p.m., theft — Theft of auto tools was reported at Sonora High School. The Sheriff’s Office reported the following: WEDNESDAY 8:59 a.m., Jamestown — A woman in the 10000 block of Willow Street reported all of her checkbooks were stolen. 10:37 a.m., Sonora — A man in the 1000 block of Greenley Road reportedly used his dependent elderly father’s debit card for multiple, unapproved purchases. 12:17 p.m, Jamestown — A man on the 10000 block of Calamity Jane Drive reported he had property stolen. 1:20 p.m., Mi-Wuk Village — A woman on the 23000 block of Cedar Hill Lane reported her neighbor was on her property and threw several large tree branches at her dog. 3:49 p.m., East Sonora — A man was reportedly staggering around the 13000 block of Mono Way. 4:55 p.m., East Sonora — A man was reportedly thrashing around on the ground, screaming and scratching his gums in a parking lot of the 13000 block of Mono Way. 5:16 p.m., East Sonora — A man on the 10000 block of Sunshine Hill Road reported his compound bow was stolen. 7:50 p.m., Sonora area — A woman on the 20000 bllock of Lori Lane reported a man hired to do yard work stolen $300 worth of wood from her. 8:58 p.m., Columbia — A father and son were arguing on the 11000 block of Columbia Village Drive. They reportedly tried to run each other over and threatened each other. THURSDAY 4 a.m., Sonora — A woman on the 20000 block of Shangri La Lane reported hearing someone in her attic. Arrests Cited on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs: WEDNESDAY 12:38 p.m., Sonora — Kymberly Marie Cochran, 45, of Sonora, after arrest at Summit and Lyons streets. Felony bookings WEDNESDAY 5:20 p.m., Sonora — Janine Leann Fouts, 47, of the 14000 block of Lakeside Drive, Sonora, was booked on suspicion of possession of controlled substances, possession of a short barreled shotgun under 18 inches and a misdemeanor count of possession of paraphernalia of controlled substances. 6:14 p.m., Sonora — Justin Roy Nelson, 21, of the 22000 block of Quail Mine Road, Columbia, was booked on suspicion of possession of narcotic controlled substances. CALAVERAS COUNTY The Sheriff’s Office reported the following: Wednesday 9:14 a.m., San Andreas — Identity theft was reported at the Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office on Mountain Ranch Road. 10:05 a.m., Murphys — A case of fraud was reported at the first block of West Highway 4. 12:29 p.m., Valley Springs — Destruction of mailboxes was reported on Hoffman Drive. 2:17 p.m., Valley Springs — A resident requested a smoke check on Pardini Place. The caller later advised it was just clouds. 6:02 p.m., Valley Springs — A woman reported her cell phone was stolen at the 1600 block of South Highway 26. Arrests Cited on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs: WEDNESDAY 9:46 a.m., San Andreas — Victor Anthony Melone, 29, of Copperopolis, after arrest in San Andreas. 9:11 p.m., Valley Springs — Kimberley Rae Berry, 40, of Valley Springs, after arrest at California and Highway 12. |
