TUOLUMNE COUNTY 

The Sonora Police Department reported the following: 

FRIDAY 

10:18 a.m., theft — Medication was stolen on South Washington Street. 

2:42 p.m., vandalism — A woman on South Barretta Street said someone threw two large rocks through her back car window and she saw a vehicle speed off. A woman was arrested on a warrant after an officer pursued the case. 

4:31 p.m., trespass — A man previously not wanted in a business on the 1200 block of Sanguinetti Road returned. 

5:06 p.m., suspicious person — A man was standing in the street and acting odd at Morning Star and Highlands View drives. 

6:54 p.m., burglary — Two vehicles were broken into on Daybreak Court. Knives and change were taken from one, and it’s unknown what was taken from the other.

10:06 p.m., weapons violations — Two shots were fired near the 800 block of Lyons Bald Mountain Road.

10:30 p.m., vandalism — Someone threw a rock through a window on South Barretta Street. A description of a vehicle was given.

SATURDAY

1:55 a.m., fight — Several people got in a fight in a business on the 100 block of South Washington Street. 

9:09 a.m., civil problem — Someone spread dog excrement on a woman’s front door on the 200 block of Greenley Road.

10:32 a.m., harassment — Someone was receiving harassing phone calls on the 400 block of South Washington Street. 

10:55 a.m., obstructing justice — A woman was arrested for reporting a false emergency on South Stewart Street.

1:41 p.m., suspicious circumstances — An employee of a business on the 100 block of West Stockton Street found a syringe filled with an unknown liquid on its property. 

11:09 p.m., theft — A woman was arrested for shoplifting at a business on the 1100 block of Sanguinetti Road.

SUNDAY

12:03 a.m., burglary — Someone attempted to break into a vehicle and ran away on Twilight Court.  

6:57 p.m., theft — A man stole a 12-pack of toilet paper from a business on the 1100 block of Sanguinetti Road. 

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

FRIDAY

12:03 a.m., Sonora — Someone was assaulted at a business on the 18900 block of Waylon Way. 

2:37 a.m., Sonora — A woman and her friends were assaulted on 22400 block of Colorado River Drive. 

4:02 a.m., Tuolumne — Two young men were yelling and breaking glass at an abandoned building on 18600 block of Madrone Avenue. 

9:10 a.m., Jamestown — A teenage boy was assaulted the night before on the 18100 block of Fifth Avenue. 

10:58 a.m., Mocassin area — Skateboarders were riding down New Priest Grade. 

11:35 a.m., Columbia — An elderly couple come into a business on the 11200 block of Highway 49, saying they had been kicked out of their home. The man drove away and left his wife. 

12:33 p.m., East Sonora — A man was checking all the doors on business on the 14300 block of Mono Way. 

1:11 p.m., Crystal Falls — A man was assaulted the night before on the 22400 block of Colorado River Drive South. 

1:32 p.m., Jamestown — An elderly woman locked herself in her garage and needed help on the 17500 block of Twin Oak Drive. A deputy crawled in her window and let her out. 

3:02 p.m., Long Barn — Two men got in a fight on the 24900 block of Highway 108. Neither wanted to press charges.

4:39 p.m., Twain Harte — A man was arrested after breaking a window on the 22900 block of Twain Harte Drive.

8:21 p.m., Groveland area — A vehicle was entered by someone on 33100 block of Evergreen Road. Nothing was taken.

9:30 p.m., Jamestown — A stereo was stolen from a vehicle at the Tuolumne-Calaveras County line on O’Byrnes Ferry Road.

11:13 p.m., Mi-Wuk Village — A man was threatened on 24100 block of Golf Links Drive.

SATURDAY

2:17 a.m., East Sonora — Several reports were given about youths causing problems in The Junction Shopping Center. 

8:01 a.m., Jamestown — A woman has received numerous annoying calls on 700 block of Mountain Pass Ranch Road.

9:54 a.m., Twain Harte — Someone has been breaking in and staying in a vacant apartment on the 22700 block of Twain Harte Drive. 

3:35 p.m., Twain Harte — People caused a disturbance about not being able to get services due to lack of funds at a business on the 22600 block of Twain Harte Drive. 

5:37 p.m., Jamestown — Two teenage girls were in a fight, and later the parents of one came to the door of the other with weapons on the 10200 block of Preston Lane.

6:25 p.m., Big Oak Flat — A child may have been beaten by his mother on the 11300 block of Wards Ferry Road.

7:23 p.m., Groveland — A woman called for help and then ran down the street “shrieking” on the 19200 block of Ferretti Road.

7:49 p.m., Jamestown — An elderly man was supposed to be checked in to a care home after his house was scheduled for demolition, but he never came and no other homes have seen him. He was entered into missing person investigations. 

8:19 p.m., Sonora — Antique jewelry was stolen on the 12700 block of Chukar Circle. 

8:20 p.m., Groveland — Domestic violence occurred on the 20800 block of Crescent Way. 

8:21 p.m., Groveland — A man pushed his wife and refused to give her her things on the 13500 block of Clements Road.

9:27 p.m., Groveland — A man was punched in the face on the 18500 block of Highway 120.

9:35 p.m., Soulsbyville — A man stole a ladder from a residence on the 20600 block of Steven Court. 

10:52 p.m., Don Pedro — Campers were setting off fireworks and refusing to leave on the 100 block of Bonds Flat Road.

SUNDAY

12:46 a.m., Twain Harte — A woman was out of control and grabbing knives on the 23400 block of Gurney Station Road. On a second call, it was deemed to be a family issue.

2:18 a.m., Sonora area — A mountain lion was spotted on Phoenix Lake Road at Meadow Brook Drive. When the driver stopped his car, the mountain lion started coming towards him and seemed aggressive. 

2:26 a.m., Tuolumne — An arrest was made after an argument between a man and woman at Carter Street and Buchanan Road.

FRIDAY

8:36 p.m., Sonora area — Michael James Wagoner, 22, of the 18600 block of Highway 108, Jamestown, was booked on suspicion of drug possession and misdemeanor providing false identification after an arrest on Longeway Road.

9:10 p.m., Jamestown — Christopher James Souza, 29, of the 400 block of White Road, San Jose, was booked on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon on a peace officer, evading a peace officer with wanton disregard for safety, auto theft, taking a vehicle without consent and warrants for burglary and misdemeanor drugs and theft charges after an arrest on Chicken Ranch Road.

9:11 p.m., Jamestown — Jennifer Kaline Reeder, 29, of the 2700 block of Cornwall Way, San Jose, was booked on suspicion of auto theft and misdemeanor drug paraphernalia possession after an arrest on Chicken Ranch Road.

SUNDAY

3:24 p.m., Sonora — Lacey Marie Huckabee, 29, of the 100 block of Columbia Way, was booked on suspicion of receiving known stolen property, committing a felony while on bail and misdemeanor resisting arrest after an arrest at her home. She also had warrants for drug and false identification charges. 

5:59 p.m., Sonora area — Logan James Weir, 24, of the 21700 block of Wasatch Mountain Road, was booked on suspicion of drug possession and misdemeanor violation of probation after an rest at his home. 

7:08 p.m., Sonora area — Daniel King Frazier, also known as David Luther Frazier, 53, of the 18800 block of Dusty Trail Road, was booked on suspicion of grossly negligent discharging of a firearm after an arrest at his home. 

7:08 p.m., Sonora area — Sean William Kenly, 46, of the 18800 block of Dusty Trail Road, was booked on suspicion of grossly negligent discharging of a firearm and being a felon in possession of a firearm and misdemeanor drug possession after an arrest at his home.

Cited on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs:

FRIDAY

8:53 p.m., Standard — Mark James Spillers, 46, of the 16600 block of Allison Way, was booked after an arrest on Standard Road. He was also charged with driving under a suspended license for prior DUI.

SATURDAY

3:22 a.m., Sonora area — Tony Espinola Bettencourt, 36, of the 20400 block of Skyline Road, Tuolumne, was booked after an arrest on Hope Lane and East Oakside Drive.

7:35 p.m., Sonora area — Joel Westley Acker, 23, of the 18300 block of East Blue Bell Road, was booked after an arrest on the Highway 108 offramp to Mono Way. 

SUNDAY

2:24 a.m., Twain Harte — Dennis John Miller, 22, of the 800 block of Greggor Street, was booked after an arrest at South Fork Road and Sierra Pine Avenue.

SUNDAY

8:43 a.m., Valley Springs — Samuel Charles Arledge III, 19, of an unknown address in Burson, was booked after an arrest on St. Petersburg Road.

12:12 p.m., Valley Springs — Carolyn Toni Williams, 39, of the 4400 block of Baldwin Lane, was booked after an arrest on the 100 block of Highway 26. She was also booked on suspicion of inflicting willful cruelty to a child.

7:15 p.m., Valley Springs — John Darrell Bisby, of the 5300 block of Cox Drive, was booked after an arrest at Highway 26 and St. Andrews Road.

FRIDAY

7:45 a.m., Copperopolis — Brian James Lujan, 26, of the 100 block of Copper Meadows Drive, was booked on suspicion of drug possession and misdemeanor disorderly conduct and possession of paraphernalia after an arrest at Little John Road and Kiva Drive. 

11 a.m., Copperopolis — James Odell McChristian, 44, of the 5900 block of South Landpark Drive, Sacramento, was booked on suspicion of being a felon in possession of a firearm, transporting drugs and misdemeanor giving false identification, driving on a suspended license and two traffic offenses after an arrest on the 4200 block of Buckboard Drive.

SATURDAY

2 p.m., Angels Camp — Victor Martinez Jr., 41, was booked on suspicion of carrying a concealed dirk or dagger after an arrest at the 200 block of South Main Street.
