The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:
8:22 a.m., Mokelumne Hill — There was a disturbance on Clark Street related to an ongoing dispute between neighbors over the use of a leaf blower.
11:29 a.m., Valley Springs — Someone on Laurel Street reported a possible scam out of Nigeria.
12:24 p.m., Valley Springs — There was a dispute between subjects in two vehicles at Highway 26 and Silver Rapids Road. They were gone when deputies arrived.
1:33 p.m., Valley Springs — A business on Highway 26 had been broken into — for the third time.
8:43 p.m., Wilseyville — Someone saw a naked man walking on Railroad Flat Road near Daviman Road. About an hour later, a Sheriff’s deputy spoke with the “naked subject” on Hewett Lane and said the man was just taking a stroll and looking for his dog. No reports were taken.
6:26 p.m., Arnold — Sarah Lianne Rutherford, 19, of the 100 block of Longman Lane, was booked on suspicion of possessing a stolen vehicle and drugs, after an arrest at a residence on the same block as her home.
8:18 p.m., Arnold — Ryan Alan Kennedy, 22, of the 4400 block of Highway 4, Murphys, was booked on suspicion of vehicle theft, after an arrest on the 2900 block of Lakewood Drive.
The Sonora Police Department reported the following:
9:33 a.m., animal complaints — Someone called in concern for a dog in distress inside a vehicle on Hospital Road. Police were unable to find the vehicle.
11:20 a.m., harassment — Someone was taken out of a business for harassing employees on South Washington Street.
12:27 p.m., harassment — A young woman has been harassed at work for the past few days by a male customer on South Washington Street.
1:32 p.m., warrant arrests — Several people were arrested on drug charges after police officers served a search warrant at a residence on Callahan Drive.
4:24 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A transient camp was being set up behind a business on Sanguinetti Road.
5:08 p.m., reckless driving — An anonymous caller said he was almost hit by a driver who was talking on her cell phone while driving west on Stockton Street.
The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:
7:43 a.m., Sonora — A man was screaming and threatening people and may have had weapons on the 1900 block of Berg Court.
10:25 a.m., Columbia — A man said his vehicle was stolen the previous night on the 22600 block of Lower Quail Mine Road.
12:11 p.m., Twain Harte — A business at Plainview Road and Highway 108 was vandalized. Buildings, equipment and cameras all were spray painted and damaged. The caller retrieved still photos of four possible suspects and had them posted to a local Facebook group to see if anyone could identify the people. Several sources identified three of the suspects in the photos, and one apparently left a comment admitting to taking part in the crime. That suspect’s father was contacted and said he would try to work out an “agreeable solution.” The case was then closed pending further investigation.
4:40 p.m., Tuolumne — A man said his name badge was stolen from his vehicle sometime during the past day on the 20200 block of Canyonview Drive. He also said the alleged thief or thieves left a set of keys in his car.
8:51 p.m., Mi-Wuk Village — Deputies assisted California Highway Patrol officers who were in pursuit of a red Yamaha Rhino off-road vehicle with four occupants near Sugar Pine Road and Aspen Lane. CHP re-called about a minute later and said officers had lost sight of the Rhino on a private driveway on Tramway Road. Deputies checked the area and were unable to locate the vehicle or its occupants.
9:24 p.m., Jamestown — Someone called to report a man who was “passed out” in front of a business on the 18100 block of Main Street. It turned out that the man wasn’t passed out and said he was guarding the property at the request of its owner due to recent vandalism in the area.
3:16 p.m., Sonora — Mark Duane Hoyoputabbi, 50, address not released, was booked on suspicion of drug possession and misdemeanor paraphernalia possession after an arrest on the 19500 block of Callahan Drive.
9:50 p.m., East Sonora — Patrick Kit Gosselin Jr., 52, address not released, was booked on suspicion of drug possession and misdemeanor driving under the influence of drugs, being under the influence of drugs and driving without a license after an arrest at Hess Avenue and Mono Way.
