MONDAY

7:46 a.m., Lime Kiln Road area — A woman on the 13000 block of Kincaid Flat Road said a ring was missing

7:53 a.m., Willow Springs — A man said tools were stolen and a rear window on his vehicle was broken while the vehicle was parked on the 20700 block of Willow Springs Drive.

9:36 a.m., Tuttletown — A woman on the 8600 block of Wilcox Ranch Road said a laptop computer, clock and digital camera were stolen from her house in the last three weeks.

10:47 a.m., Columbia — A man said while he was talking with his brother next to parked cars on Sawmill Flat Road, the brother became angry and almost hit the caller's car as he drove away.

2:08 p.m., Don Pedro area — A woman on the 4500 block of Arbolada Drive said mail was stolen.

3:44 p.m., East Sonora — A woman said trash was illegally dumped into a bin behind a business at The Junction shopping center.

5:33 p.m., Wards Ferry area — A man on the 18200 block of Old Wards Ferry Road said his house was broken into.

7:25 p.m., Long Barn — A stranded driver on Forest Service Road 3N39 was given a ride home to Mi-Wuk Village by a deputy with a four-wheel drive vehicle.

7:55 p.m., Groveland — A Pine Mountain Lake security guard said a soda machine at a campground on Rocky Point Drive was broken into and money stolen.

7:56 p.m., Crystal Falls — A woman on the 21800 block of Fallview Drive said her mother would not let her back in the house because she got her tongue pierced.

8:16 p.m., Wards Ferry area — A man said a man with a baseball bat was fighting with a woman outside a business on the 22900 block of Meadow Lane.

9:09 p.m., Twain Harte — A caller said a mini-van pulled up to a business near the 22900 block of Joaquin Gulley Road and two suspicious-looking people got and walked around.

Felony bookings

MONDAY

10:07 p.m., Tuolumne — Ronald Lee Evans, 39, 22400 block of Gravel Mine Road, Sonora, booked on suspicion of grand theft and petty theft with prior convictions for petty theft and misdemeanor violation of probation after an arrest at Black Oak Casino.

According to a sheriff's report, a 59-year-old La Grange woman was sitting at a casino video game with her wallet in her lap. When she was temporarily distracted, a man came by and took the wallet, containing $425.

A man in a men's bathroom noticed Evans acting suspiciously. When Evans left the bathroom, the man found the woman's wallet in the stall Evans had just vacated.

A security officer detained Evans, who had $425 in cash on him. The officer then called for a sheriff's deputy.

Evans was released Monday after posting $10,000 bail.

11:13 p.m., Jamestown — David John McMahon, 40, no address given, Concord, booked on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance after a traffic stop and arrest on the 18300 block of Highway 108. He remained in custody this morning in lieu of $10,000 bail.

YESTERDAY

2:11 a.m., Tuolumne — Larry Jim Fahl, 39, 3600 block of Highway 132, Coulterville, booked on suspicion of possessing and transporting a controlled substance, attempting to commit a felony while armed and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia and an open container of marijuana while driving after arrest on Cherokee Road west of North Tuolumne Road.

According to a sheriff's report, a deputy stopped Fahl for driving with an expired registration sticker. Fahl consented to a search and the deputy found .19 grams of methamphetamine, .042 grams of marijuana and a loaded .22 caliber rifle in the truck.

Fahl remained held this morning in lieu of $20,000 bail.

Cited on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol:

Levi Justin Yager, 19, 21200 block of Oman Drive, Soulsbyville, booked at 5:10 a.m. Monday after arrest on South Washington Street at Hospital Road, Sonora.

Sonora police reports

MONDAY

3:53 a.m., alarm — A shop window at a business on the 400 block of South Washington Street was broken, setting off the burglar alarm.

4:12 a.m., alarm — A front glass window at a business on the 700 block of South Washington Street was broken, setting off a burglar alarm.

8:29 a.m., animal complaints — A caller on Oak Street said a dog south of the caller's house was barking as if in distress. An officer left a note for the homeowner to call the police department about the dog.

10:41 a.m., traffic accident — No one was injured in a traffic accident on an undisclosed address on Mono Way.

12:28 p.m., found property — A man found a Sonora Community Hospital identification card on South Forest Road and turned it into the police department.

2:43 p.m., theft — A caller said a bank bag with a deposit book and miscellaneous items inside was stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked at Sonora Crossroads shopping center.

5:36 p.m., reckless driving — A caller said a man driving a 2002 Ford pickup cut off another driver, then followed the driver to Sonora Crossroads shopping center.

9:33 p.m., traffic violation — A 44-year-old man was cited and released on suspicion of driving with a suspended license after a traffic stop on North Washington Street.

YESTERDAY

12:04 a.m., vehicle theft — A caller said a 1999 Ford Escort vehicle parked on the 1000 block of Mono Way was stolen. It turned out the car was not stolen, it was repossessed.

12:37 a.m., controlled substance — A 22-year-old man was booked on suspicion of possessing drug paraphernalia after an officer arrested the man on the 100 block of Fairview Lane.

1:28 p.m., San Andreas — A woman said her purse was stolen while she was at a thrift store.

2:58 p.m., Murphys — A caller on the 300 block of Bret Harte Drive said a boom box was stolen.

3:47 p.m., Arnold — A caller on the 2000 block of Moran Road said a laborer who was hired by a contractor stole items from a vacation home.

11:45 a.m., San Andreas — Christopher Allen Bonner, 18, 500 block of Angels Road, San Andreas, booked on suspicion of receiving stolen property after arrest at an apartment complex. He remained in custody this morning in lieu of $30,000 bail.

Lonnie Dean McCraney, 52, 6000 block of Gwin Street, Valley Springs, booked at 8:10 p.m. Monday after arrest at a Valley Springs gas station.
