Sheriff's reports

MONDAY

9:44 a.m., Columbia area — A woman on the 11400 block of Columbia Village Drive said two vehicles were broken into and money, cassettes tapes, keys and medicine stolen.

10:15 a.m., Mi-Wuk Village — A man said his ATM card was stolen and more than $3,000 had been taken from his account.

10:39 a.m., Standard area — A man on El Ray Lane said his ex-girlfriend has not moved out of his residence and keeps stealing his mail.

12:37 p.m., Cold Springs — A woman said her medication was stolen while she was at a house on the 29600 block of Lassen Drive.

12:53 p.m., Columbia — A man on Marble Quarry Road said he received a phone call from someone who claimed to be from the Republican Party wanting his credit card number for his dues payment. The man hung up on the caller, but called the Sheriff's Department because he thought it might be a scam.

1:11 p.m., Jamestown — A man at Jamestown Community Day School said a student walked away from the school on the 10300 block of Ninth Street.

1:31 p.m., Twain Harte area — A woman said she found three bullet holes in her vehicle parked on the 22000 block of Tuolumne Road North.

1:36 p.m., Big Oak Flat — A man on the 17000 block of Harper Road said his house was burglarized.

1:49 p.m., Soulsbyville — A man on the 20000 block of Highway 108 said he was assaulted on New Year's Eve.

1:54 p.m., Tuolumne — A man on the 18400 block of Pine Street said he found a bullet hole lodged in the tailgate of his truck and a bullet hole through his garage door.

2:01 p.m., Standard area — A woman at Sierra Resource Management on the 14900 block of Camage Way said a building was vandalized over the weekend.

3:25 p.m., Sonora Meadows — A woman on the 21400 block of Green Oaks Court said a sick buck was on her front deck.

4:37 p.m., Groveland area — A woman on the 10500 block of Smith Station Road said she found an older red Toyota 4-Runner on her property that didn't have license plates and appeared to be abandoned.

8:47 p.m., Groveland — A deputy failed to catch a man he had seen driving on Ferretti Road with a suspended license.

9:42 p.m., Standard area — Sonora Mini-Stop on Tuolumne Road was broken into and cigarettes were stolen.

Felony bookings

MONDAY

5:30 p.m., Mono Village — Thomas Michael Solis, 46, 19800 block of Highway 108, Sonora, booked on suspicion of falsifying a vehicle registration and misdemeanor driving with a suspended license after a traffic stop and arrest on Sunny Circle at Hillsdale Drive. No details were available. He remained in jail his morning, held in lieu of $10,000 bail.

YESTERDAY

2:13 a.m., Willow Springs — Donna Rene Meyer, 36, 10300 block of Preston Lane, Jamestown, booked on a warrant charging her with violating her probation, failure to appear and a misdemeanor charge of passing worthless checks after a traffic stop and arrest on Willow Springs Drive at Soulsbyville Road. She remained in jail this morning, held without bail.

2:37 a.m., Sonora — Robert Louis Serna, 47, 200 block of Davis Street, Turlock, booked on suspicion of receiving stolen property and misdemeanor driving on a suspended license and possession of marijuana after a traffic stop and arrest on South Washington Street at Highway 108. He remained in jail this morning, held in lieu of $10,000 bail.

MONDAY

5:46 a.m., burglary — A caller on the 300 block of Stockton Road said her neighbor saw a man prying a screen off the caller's window.

3:46 p.m., traffic accident — A caller on Golden Street said his wife accidentally hit a neighbor's fence as she was pulling into a driveway.

4:05 p.m., animal complaints — A dog without tags was running loose near Cassina High School on South Barretta Street.

6:10 p.m., public intoxication — A caller said a man who was possibly drunk was lying down on a bench in front of a store on Stockton Road.

8:24 p.m., theft — A man on the 200 block of East Jackson Street said CDs were taken from inside his locked vehicle overnight.

11:25 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A Sonora Regional Medical Center employee said a man stole items from the hospital, but gave them back when a security officer asked him to.

11:44 p.m., agency assist — A Tuolumne General Hospital emergency room employee said a drunken man was in the hospital being belligerent with staff.

10:26 a.m., Arnold — A snow plow driver said he had a confrontation with a homeowner on the 700 block of Summit View.

1:23 p.m., Copperopolis — A caller reported a case of Internet theft on the 2500 block of Sulkey Court.

3:10 p.m., San Andreas — A man said another man who he owes money grabbed him by the shirt and threatened him on the 300 block of Russell Road.

4:35 p.m., Arnold — A caller said a house on the 1700 block of Highway 4 was broken into.

YESTERDAY

1:15 a.m., West Point — A caller said a man and woman were fighting on the first block of Pine Street.

THURSDAY

10:30 a.m., San Andreas — Damien Nicholas Banning, 23, 5400 block of College Oak Drive, Sacramento, booked on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance after turning himself in on a felony warrant. He has been released on $10,000 bail.

SUNDAY

8:35 p.m., Burson — James Albert Wellman, 55, 3400 block of Burson Road, Burson, booked on a felony parole violation after evading a police officer on Highway 12. He was cited and released.

11:55 p.m., Valley Springs — Kimberly Ann Berg, 40, 9300 block of Aizenberg Road, Elk Grove, booked on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance after an arrest on Laurel Avenue north of Sequoia Street. She was released by the court yesterday.

MONDAY

1:47 a.m., Valley Springs — Gerald Anthony Silva, 29, 8400 block of Stinson View, Valley Springs, booked on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance, bringing a controlled substance into a prison or jail after an arrest on Pettinger Road. He remained in jail this morning, held in lieu of $15,000 bail.

Eugene Edward Bynum, 35, 300 block of East Euclid Avenue, Stockton, booked at 1:05 p.m. Saturday after an arrest on Highway 4 at Spence Ranch, Angels Camp area.

Bennie Eugene Mazzuca, 55, 900 block of Stork Drive, Angels Camp, booked at 5:15 p.m. Sunday after an arrest on Highway 49 and Dogtown Road, Angels Camp.
