The Sonora Police Department reported the following:
10:59 a.m., civil problem — A man kicked in another man’s door and threw property out of the house.
1:14 p.m., reckless driving — A car was swerving on Washington Street.
9:03 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A man was smoking marijuana on a woman’s front porch on South Shepherd Street.
10:44 p.m., public intoxication — A 50-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication on South Stewart Street. A small amount of marijuana was booked for destruction.
The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:
5:25 a.m., Twain Harte — A person was stealing mail at South Fork and Middle Camp roads.
11:29 a.m., Columbia — Truck seats were stolen on the 11500 block of Yankee Hill Road.
11:49 a.m., Sonora area — A possible drug deal was reported on Crystal Falls Drive. The suspects were gone when police arrived.
12:39 p.m., Columbia — A residence on the 21900 block of Douglasville Mine Road was broken into and $50 was stolen.
2:25 p.m., Jamestown — A student left his backpack at Jamestown Elementary School
overnight and his $150 sunglasses were stolen.
3:59 p.m., Tuolumne — People were doing doughnuts in a dirt parking lot on the 18600 block of Main Street and broke windows of other vehicles.
4:34 p.m., Columbia — A 17-year-old reported an assault at a bus stop but declined to press charges.
4:47 p.m., Mi-Wuk Village — A non-injury vehicle accident was reported on the 24200 block of Lama Road.
7:09 p.m., Jamestown — Someone stole a gas can and siphoned gas from a car on the 17600 block of Rolling Hills Boulevard.
9:52 p.m., Columbia — Someone was being threatened with a knife on the 22600 block of Valley Quail Road.
9:54 p.m., Columbia — Someone was yelling profanities on the 22600 block of Valley Quail Road.
Cited on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs:
8:55 p.m., Jamestown — Jonathan Aaron Farmer, 24, of the 300 block of North Second Street, Oakdale, was booked after an arrest on Highway 120.
12:28 p.m., Jamestown — Alan Michael Grove, 52, of the 19600 block of Rawhide Road, Sonora, was booked after an arrest on Highway 49 at Main Street.
9:22 a.m., Arnold — A phone scam was reported on Mill Creek Circle. The caller said the resident won $2 million and would receive instructions on how to collect winnings.
2:11 p.m., Arnold — A vehicle was vandalized on Cedar Lane.
3:37 p.m., Valley Springs — Identity theft was reported on Baldwin Street.
4:46 p.m., Valley Springs — Identity theft was reported on Wade Lane.
10:17 p.m., San Andreas — A vandalized newspaper stand was thrown in front of a house on Spring Hill Drive.
9:49 a.m., Angels Camp — Russell D. Cline, 31, of the 3500 block of NW Hidden Lake Drive, Waldport, was booked on suspicion of violating probation, illegally possessing ammunition and possessing drugs after an arrest on the 1000 block of Stelte Court. He was also booked on suspicion of misdemeanor charges of vandalism, battery, obstructing an officer and possession of drug paraphernalia.
10:26 a.m., Rail Road Flat — Matthew Dale Ecklund, 30, of the 1600 block of Garner Road, Rail Road Flat, was booked on suspicion of selling marijuana and possessing marijuana for sale after an arrest on Highway 120. He was also booked on suspicion of a misdemeanor charge of driving with a suspended license and infractions of no proof of insurance and not wearing a seat belt.
11:15 a.m., Angels Camp — Tara Jean Gamblin, 21, of the 1000 block of Stelte Court, was booked on suspicion of possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia after an arrest at her home.
