TUESDAY

8:36 a.m., Jamestown — A woman said her vehicle's taillights were broken when she was parked at the Whistle Stop on the 18300 block of Highway 108.

9:16 a.m., Chinese Camp — A man on the 10400 block of Shawmut Road said someone has been throwing nails on the road at the residence before his.

10:47 a.m., Sonora — A woman on an unidentified block of Shaws Flat Road said her husband, who was in custody, lost his wallet. She was worried that someone could use his driver's license or Social Security card fraudulently.

10:57 a.m., Mi-Wuk Village — A man on the 24200 block of White Fir Drive said checks were stolen from his vehicle and were being forged.

1:09 p.m., Sonora — A caller from the Veterans Service Office, 20100 block of Cedar Road North, said $15,000 worth of checks were stolen.

1:15 p.m., Jamestown — A caller on the 10700 block of Wigwam Road said she heard what sounded like a man hitting another man in a wheelchair in an upstairs apartment.

2:07 p.m., East Sonora — A caller on the 15000 block of Jenness Road said three boys were firing BB guns at each other across the street.

2:24 p.m., Sierra Village — A man calling from Sierra Village Mobile Home Park, 24900 block of Highway 108, said a resident was threatening the assistant manager because of a pile of snow.

3:01 p.m., Columbia — A woman on the 22200 block of Parrotts Ferry Road said a man was knocking on her windows, but left.

3:08 p.m., Sonora — A caller on Washington Street said a local photographer sold pictures of her son to someone else without her permission.

3:17 p.m., Crystal Falls — A caller on the 22200 block of Crystal Falls Drive said a bicycle was stolen.

4:21 p.m., East Sonora — A caller near the 20200 block of Sparrow Lane said five or six kids were drinking behind a nearby Dumpster. The caller called back to say more kids had arrived.

4:37 p.m., Twain Harte — A caller on the 22600 block of Confidence Road said she returned home to find someone had tried to get into her residence, and a key — or something — was broken off in the front door knob.

7:37 p.m., Groveland — A woman on the 12000 block of Breckenridge Road said a large, carved wooden bear was taken from her front yard.

9:46 p.m., East Sonora — A man was pulled over on the Highway 108 bypass, cited and released for possession of less than an ounce of marijuana and for driving with a suspended license.

WEDNESDAY

2:23 a.m., Jamestown — A caller on the east side of Mt. Brow Road said a group of drunken people were fighting in the roadway and throwing beers and a picnic bench at passing cars.

4:17 a.m., Twain Harte — A woman on the 22400 block of Sonora Drive said a man was at her door informing her that he was cold. The man was in jeans and a T-shirt and looked "out of it."

Arrests

Cited on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol:

Robert Michael Klein, 23, 19000 block of Rawhide Road, Jamestown, arrested at 12:05 a.m. Wednesday on Mt. Brow Road at Jamestown Road.

Felony bookings

TUESDAY

11:48 p.m., Jamestown — Yaeko C. Payne, 22, of the 22700 block of Twain Harte Drive was booked on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance after arrest on Highway 108 at Wigwam Road. She remained in Tuolumne County Jail this morning in lieu of $10,000 bail.

5 p.m., Tuolumne County Jail — Tony Aguon Naputi, no address given, Oakland, was booked into the Tuolumne County Jail at 5 p.m. on a no-bail Tuolumne County warrant charging him with possession of a controlled substance, failure to appear in court and probation violation. He remained in custody this morning.

1:30 p.m., Soulsbyville — Lori Gae Underwood, 43, 20500 block of Willow Springs Drive, arrested at home on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance. No further information was available this morning. She was released after posting $10,000 bail.

Sonora police reports

TUESDAY

8:59 a.m., hazardous situation — A caller said a dump truck stalled on North Washington Street near the Red Church.

9:11 a.m., lost property — A man said his cell phone was stolen at a business on the 100 block of Stockton Road.

11:36 a.m., theft — A man said someone entered his apartment on the first block of Summit Avenue without permission and took items.

9:08 p.m., traffic violations — A woman said someone pulled in front of her car while on Highway 49 and was playing games with her. The driver, who was headed into Sonora, was speeding up, then hitting the brakes, she said.

9:57 p.m., property damage — The manager of a restaurant on the 800 block of Sanguinetti Road said a pickup drove onto a lawn, damaging it.

CALAVERAS COUNTY

Sheriff's reports

TUESDAY

8:31 a.m., San Andreas — Items, including a video tape of deceased relatives from past Christmases, were stolen from a parked car at Calaveras High School.

4:15 p.m., Burson —A coin-operated newspaper rack was taken from in front of the Burson Post Office.

6:09 p.m., Valley Springs — A caller on the 300 block of Rose Street said someone threatened her and has been harassing her family.

7:23 p.m., Valley Springs — A suspicious vehicle was reported at a business on the 300 block of Myrtle Street.

10:11 p.m., San Andreas — Someone was blocking the intersection of Charles Street and Highway 49 with red traffic cones.

WEDNESDAY

12:08 a.m., Valley Springs — A caller on the 2600 block of Vista Del Lago Drive reported hearing loud noises and that someone was behind their house.

8:49 a.m., Valley Springs — A representative from a business on the first block of Highway 26 said a delivery truck was broken into Tuesday night.

9:47 a.m., Arnold — A caller said the back door of a home on the 1900 block of El Dorado Drive was open.

10:23 a.m., Vallecito — A U-Haul moving truck with a "seedy" looking driver was seen driving on Camp Nine Road.

10:55 a.m., Angels Camp — An elderly client of the Angels Veterinary Clinic brought the clinic what she thought was catnip. It turned out to be marijuana and was destroyed.

12:59 p.m., Valley Springs — A dog attacked a 5-year-old boy for the third time on the 3900 block of Dunn Road.

12:20 p.m., Copperopolis — Illegal water hook-ups were reported on the 4000 block of Flint Trail.

9:25 p.m., Arnold — People were setting off rockets on the 2200 block of Fairway Drive. They agreed to stop for the evening.

10:02 p.m., Arnold — There was a report of a loud party on the 2000 block of Thunderbolt Trail.

10:18 p.m., Valley Springs — There was a report of fireworks on the 6600 block of Garner Place.
