TUOLUMNE COUNTY

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

FRIDAY

12:13 a.m., Tuolumne — A Tuolumne County road crew was dispatched to repair 10 feet of damaged guardrail just west of Tuolumne Road North on the south shoulder of Tuolumne Road. 

7:19 a.m., Sonora — Someone in Stockton was opening accounts using the personal information of a resident of the 19800 block of Christie Lane.

12:03 p.m., Soulsbyville — A man in a black Chevy pickup with red trim tried to steal from the woodpile of a resident of the 20700 block of Willow Springs Drive.

1:07 p.m., Soulsbyville — A woman at Clouds Rest and Staff King Drive whose ring was stolen two years ago said she just found it at a pawn shop.

1:52 p.m., Sonora — A woman on the 18000 block of Lime Rock Drive said someone stole two downed oak trees from her property while she was away for two weeks.

1:57 p.m., west county — A man left his recently purchased truck at Yosemite Junction on Highway 108 at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, and when he returned to pick it up, it was missing.

1:58 p.m., Sonora — An angry customer on the 13700 block of Mono Way damaged the front door of a business on his way out.

2:49 p.m., Tuolumne — A woman on the 18400 block of Tuolumne Road said the subject of a restraining order just entered her residence and stole her wallet and was now trying to run her over. She was told to go into the residence for her safety. She said he took $200, gift cards, and pictures off the walls.

9:20 p.m., Jamestown — A man on the 18000 block of Sierra Avenue said his girlfriend flooded the house while he was gone by putting a hose under the door, turning it on and leaving.

10:37 p.m., Sonora — Two green posts at Soulsbyville and Black Oak roads with yellow arrows warning that a left hand curve was coming up were damaged and left on the side of the road in a hit-and-run incident.

SATURDAY

2:35 a.m., Sonora — A man arrived at a house on the 21300 block of Green Meadow Lane and threatened the occupants. He then proceeded to drive around the neighborhood.

10:13 a.m., Strawberry — A burglary occurred at a house on the 29600 block of Summerhill Drive. Electronics, food, kitchen supplies, firewood and a boat were reported stolen. 

10:36 a.m., Twain Harte — A burglary occurred and several items were missing from a house on the 23000 block of Hawk Drive.

10:57 a.m., Sonora — A theft occurred at a house on the 11100 block of Currey Drive. A purse, checkbook, Social Security card and house keys were reported stolen.

12:45 p.m., Groveland — A burglary occurred at a house on the 20700 block of Whites Gulch Road. Jewelry and cash were reported stolen.

2:47 p.m., Sonora — A man said his former roommate threatened him over a financial dispute while at a business on the 20900 block of Longeway Road.

2:57 p.m., Long Barn — A burglary occurred along Highway 108 and Stoddard Springs Road. A window was broken out of a vehicle. 

4:57 p.m., Sonora — Several people were trespassing on a property on the 9000 block of Highway 49.

FRIDAY

3:04 a.m., Sonora — Anthony Bruce Ortega, 33, of the 23100 block of Borden Road, Columbia, was booked on suspicion of drug possession and parole violation after an arrest at Columbia Way and North Stewart Street.

3:48 p.m., Tuolumne — Wyatt James Ray, 25, of the 19500 block of Cherokee Road, was booked on suspicion of burglary, possession of stolen property and credit card forgery after an arrest at 18300 block of Tuolumne Road. 

10:46 p.m., Sonora — Earle S. Howard, 56, of 80 block of South Market Street, San Jose, was booked on suspicion of first degree burglary and misdemeanor trespassing after an arrest at Mono Way and Highway 108.

11:28 p.m., Sonora — Blake Andrew Ryan, 28, of the 17000 block of Cloud Rest Road, Columbia, was booked on suspicion of transporting or selling narcotics and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.

FRIDAY

10:46 p.m., Soulsbyville — Carla Joyce Hendrix, 60, of the 1800 block of Coffee Road, Modesto, was booked after an arrest at Soulsbyville and Black Oak roads.

SATURDAY

12:18 a.m., Sonora — Emmalee Ellyn Olson, 21, of the 800 block of Dogwood Drive, Murphys, was booked after an arrest at Stewart and Church streets.

8 p.m., Sonora — Ann Slaytonbrautovich, 56, of the 20400 block of Bay Meadow Drive, was booked after an arrest at Highway 120 and O’Byrnes Ferry Road.

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

FRIDAY

8:48 a.m., burglary — Someone broke the passenger side window of a white Chevrolet Trailblazer and stole the global positioning system.

12:28 p.m., controlled substance — A report that a meth lab was being built in a motel room on South Green Street proved to be unfounded.

SATURDAY

12:50 p.m., reckless driving — A man on a Harley Davidson motorcycle drove 60 mph on Stockton Road.

2:43 p.m., traffic accident — A traffic accident occurred in a parking lot on Sanguinetti Road. 

8:03 p.m., suspicious circumstances — Four juveniles attempted to break into a car in a parking lot on Sanguinetti Road.

CALAVERAS COUNTY

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

FRIDAY

9:27 a.m., San Andreas — Several juveniles were running around a parking lot on Mountain Ranch Road.

11:17 a.m., Mountain Ranch — Vandalism was reported on Ponderosa Way.

12:19 p.m., Arnold — An arrest was made after a traffic stop at Highway 4 and McKenzie Avenue.

1:04 p.m., San Andreas — Grand theft was reported on Broadway Street.

SATURDAY

12:16 p.m., Arnold — A subject was cited for health and safety violation on Camanche and Rawhide roads.

8:38 p.m., San Andreas — Several callers reported hearing shots fired in the area of Wimbeldon Drive and Calaveritas Road.

SUNDAY

12:57 a.m., Rail Road Flat — A burglary was reported at the general store on Railroad Flat Road.

9:53 a.m., San Andreas — A vehicle was stolen at an apartment complex on Lewis Avenue.

7:04 p.m., Murphys — Registration tags were stolen from a vehicle on Main Street.

FRIDAY

2:40 a.m., Mountain Ranch — Dustin James Pruden, 26, of the 400 block of North Main Street, Angels Camp, was booked on suspicion of battery with serious bodily injury and a misdemeanor restraining order violation after an arrest on the 700 block of Mountain Ranch Road. 

8:12 a.m., San Andreas — Timothy Daniel Stuart Jr., 33, of the 100 block of Pixley Avenue, was booked on suspicion of a felony parole violation and misdemeanor possession of unlawful paraphernalia after an arrest on the 50 block of West St. Charles Street. 

SATURDAY

5:55 p.m., Glencoe — Joseph Neil Herrera, 29, of the 2700 block of Upper Dorray Road, was booked on suspicion of issuing criminal threats with intent to terrorize and misdemeanor possession of a firearm replica, obstructing a police officer, being under the influence of a controlled substance and a marijuana possession infraction after an arrest on the 2600 block of Dorray Road.
