The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:
9:16 a.m., Sonora area — A man ordered an electric guitar tuner online and was tracking the package. It was delivered Jan. 4 and he thinks it was stolen from his mailbox.
9:29 p.m., Twain Harte — Gas was stolen from the 22800 block of Twain Harte Drive.
9:51 a.m., Sonora area — A woman reported that someone is using her 5-year-old son’s Social Security number.
10:59 a.m., Sonora area — A woman said someone pretending to be her grandson got into an accident and needed $7,500 to post bail.
2:34 p.m., Sonora area — Someone accessed a vacant property on the 22500 block of Spring Creek Road and caused water damage.
3:07 p.m., Sonora area — A non-injury hit-and-run accident was reported on the 14800 block of Mono Way.
3:58 p.m., Sonora area — An aluminum extension ladder valued at $200 and metal-welded roof truss were taken from the 20500 block of Shangri La Lane.
5:43 p.m., Tuolumne — Assault on a man with a bat was reported on the 18300 block of Tuolumne Road. The man refused medicåal attention and no suspects were located.
6:51 p.m., Sonora area — A man was stealing clothes from a business on the 14800 block of Mono Way. He noticed he was being watched and put the items back. He was given a verbal trespass notice by the manager and a deputy.
8:11 p.m., Sonora area — People were setting off fireworks on the 21000 block of Lancaster Court.
12:26 a.m., Sonora area — A camera, cell phone, knife and other items were stolen from a vehicle on the 9800 block of Highway 49.
3:40 p.m., Sonora area — John Steven Day, 27, of the 22000 block of South Airport Road, Columbia, was booked on suspicion of violation of post-release community supervision after an arrest on the 12800 block of Chukar Circle.
4:48 a.m., Twain Harte — Jeffrey Wayne Coon, 37, a transient, was booked on suspicion of possession of drugs, carrying a concealed dirk or dagger and violation of probation after an arrest on Twain Harte Drive.
The Sonora Police Department reported the following:
10:50 a.m., public intoxication — A 50-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication and an outstanding warrant on Hospital Road.
2:25 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A man who is trespassed from a business on the 1100 block of Sanguinetti Road was sitting outside asking people to buy him an air duster.
4:24 p.m., vandalism — A car was keyed somewhere in the city when the owner was running errands.
9:39 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A man was walking on private property
at Mono Way and Truckenmiller Road saying his car was stolen and he was looking for it. He refused help from police.

8:41 a.m., Angels Camp — Vandalism was reported on Highway 49.
12:56 p.m., Angels Camp — Theft was reported from a business on the 2800 block of Highway 49.
3:01 p.m., Valley Springs — A man and woman were climbing through a window of a vacant residence on Daphne Street.
3:08 p.m., Mountain Ranch — Assault with a deadly weapon was reported on Pine Bark Drive.
9:04 p.m., Angels Camp — Sounds of neighbors fighting were reported on North Baker Street. An arrest was made in the area shortly before the report.
9:14 p.m., Angels Camp — Arturo Jenaro Ybarra, 25, of the 2400 block of Riedel Way, Modesto, was booked on suspicion of transporting drugs and possession of drugs for sale after an arrest on the 7600 block of Pool Station Road.
9:45 p.m., Angels Camp — Randy Scott Gulizia, 62, of the 1000 block of Highway 49, was booked on suspicion of first-degree burglary, assault with a deadly weapon and attempted robbery after an arrest on the 200 block of Main Street.
10:03 a.m., San Andreas — Hannah Elyse Heiss, 22, of the 4000 block of Teton Court, Ione, was booked on suspicion of possession of marijuana for sale and cultivation of marijuana.
1:33 p.m., Mountain Ranch — Shane Alan Cardey, 35, of the 9100 block of East Murray Creek Road, was booked on suspicion of possession of ammunition by a prohibited person and possession of a firearm by a convict. He was also booked on suspicion of misdemeanor charges of indecent exposure and battery on a non-cohabiting spouse.
1:14 p.m., Avery — Thomas James McNicholas, 46, of the 3900 block of Highway 4, was booked on suspicion of violation of parole after an arrest at his home.
8:32 p.m., Valley Springs — Jason Paul Newton, 38, of the 4600 block of Pettinger Road, was booked on suspicion of grand theft exceeding $950, conspiracy to commit crime and criminal contempt after an arrest on Highway 26.
8:32 p.m., Valley Springs — Robert William Range, 32, of the 2500 block of Charming Way, Manteca, was booked on suspicion of grand theft exceeding $950, possession of burglary tools and conspiracy to commit crime.
