The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

    7:14 a.m., vandalism — A window was broken out at automotive shop on South Washington Street.
    10:25 a.m., assault — Someone said they saw several juveniles harassing someone in a pickup truck on South Barretta Street and were trying to break the window. The truck’s driver left the area and the juveniles were heading south on foot. One of them was described as bouncing a large blue ball. Officers located the juveniles and a report was taken.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

    8:23 a.m., Soulsbyville — Someone on the 20600 block of Willow Springs Drive said a debit card was fraudulently used for $800.
    8:29 a.m., Groveland — A woman on the 19600 block of Elder Lane said she fell for a scam from someone claiming to be from Publishers Clearing House. A man told her she had won $2.1 million but first needed to wire him $250, which she did.
    9:44 a.m., Phoenix Lake — Someone on the 15500 block of Paseo De Los Robles Road said a debit card was used at Redbox video rental kiosks in Illinois and Phoenix, Ariz., for purchases totaling $196.
    9:54 a.m., Jamestown — Obscenities were written on a bench at a park at Rolling Oaks and Twin Oak drives.
 12:41 p.m., Twain Harte — A theft of jewelry occurred on the 22900 block of Meadow Lane.
 2:22 p.m., Sonora area — A woman on the 20900 block of Saratoga Road said a package stolen from her mail box was returned. It had been opened, but all of the contents were there and in perfect condition.
    4:16 p.m., Jamestown — A woman said someone used her bank card number out of state for more than three transactions totaling about $100.
    6:07 p.m., Sonora area — A woman on the 12000 block of Chukar Circle said she suspects teenagers keep throwing fruits and vegetables at her back door. She said someone threw carrots at her house and last week found a tomato on her deck.

Felony bookings

    2:47 p.m., Sonora — Dustin Robert Stevens, 23, of the 8500 block of Wilcox Ranch Road, was booked on suspicion of assault and possession of stolen property, after an arrest near Lime Kiln and Campo Seco roads.
    3 p.m., Sonora — Juan Velazquez-Herrera, 29, of the 300 block of Hospital Road, was booked on suspicion of drug possession and child endangerment or abuse, after an arrest at his home.
    10:09 p.m., Sonora — Charles Kealoha Pahukoa, 43, of the 200 block of Greenley Road, was booked on suspicion of assault, after an arrest at his home.


The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

    3:09 p.m., West Point — A residence on West Point Pioneer Road was broken into and tires were taken from a vehicle.

Felony bookings

    2:31 a.m., Arnold — Myles Anthony Hill, 20, of the 1800 block of Bonanza Way, was booked on suspicion of drug possession and possession of drugs for sales, after an arrest on the 1800 block of Meadow View Road.
