TUOLUMNE COUNTY

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

7:20 a.m., Twain Harte — Someone possibly put a drug in a woman’s drink at a business on the 23000 block of Joaquin Gully Road. She said she could not remember the three hours following the drink.

11:46 a.m., Sonora — An arrest was made after a man threatened another man with a shotgun and knife after a confrontation about cutting wood at Dusty Trail and Lime Kiln Road.

11:51 a.m., Columbia — A male transient vandalized a tractor, two trucks and left hoses running on the 11400 block of Forest Park Drive because he wanted his mail.

11:53 a.m., Jamestown — A threatening note reading “I will kill you” was found at the front door of a house on the 10200 block of Preston Lane.

12:37 p.m., East Sonora — A woman was nearly hit by a car on Mono Way, and the man driving the car yelled at her for not being in the crosswalk. He then followed the woman into a business on the 13700 block of Mono Way and “intimidated” her until she kicked the man to get him away from her. 

1:53 p.m., Phoenix Lake — Two leaf blowers and a weed trimmer were stolen from the back of a truck on the 15400 block of Paseo De Los Robles. 

3:12 p.m., Jamestown — A black iPhone 5 was stolen from a 14-year-old at a school on the 18200 block of Fifth Avenue.

3:35 p.m., Groveland — Several items worth about $2,500 were stolen from the 13400 block of Yorkshire Drive.

4:10 p.m., Jamestown — Two men, one wearing a Jerry Rice jersey, and a woman, described as having no teeth, were fighting at a hotel on the 18100 block of Main Street. 

5:16 p.m., Sonora area — Windows were broken and a house left in a disarray on the 21900 block of Fallview Drive. 

6:21 p.m., Tuolumne — A man yelled at his neighbor for speeding on the 18500 block of Hershey Road West. His neighbor followed him back to his house and punched him in the mouth, knocking off his glasses. 

8:15 p.m., Phoenix Lake — An arrest was made after a man hit a woman in the face on the 15000 block of Paseo De Los Robles.

8:58 p.m., Jamestown — A woman on the 18000 block of Jamestown Road said that her “ex” was refusing to return their child.

9:46 p.m., East Sonora — Items were stolen from a shed at Peaceful Oak Road and Highway 108.

THURSDAY

4:38 a.m. Jamestown — A woman said that a man broke down her bedroom door and refused to leave her house on the 10300 block of Willow Street.

WEDNESDAY

10:45 a.m., Jamestown — Christian Espinosa Gonzalez, 20, of the 18000 block of Third Avenue, was booked on suspicion of parole violation, receiving stolen property, possessing a controlled substance for sale and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia after an arrest at his home. 

2:59 p.m., East Sonora — Ronald Wesley Harris, 30, of the 31200 block of Eureka Drive, Knights Ferry, was booked on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia after an arrest at the 13700 block of Mono Way.

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

6:45 a.m., hazardous situation — A car blocked the lane and faced the wrong direction at Elkin Street.

9:51 a.m., reckless driving — A driver passed over the double yellow lines and almost caused a traffic accident on Highway 108.

10:10 a.m., burglary — Laundry room machines were damaged on West Lane.

2:50 p.m., theft — A swim bag was stolen at a school on North Washington Street.

3:34 p.m., theft — Someone stole from a business 13700 block of Mono Way.

3:37 p.m., threats — A man made threats after being denied membership at a business on the 500 block of Stockton Road. 

5:42 p.m., public intoxication — An arrest was made on North Norlin Street.

CALAVERAS COUNTY

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following: 

WEDNESDAY

10:45 a.m., Arnold — A door to a garage was kicked in on Meadowview Road. 

12:48 p.m., Copperopolis — Someone reported hearing an explosion at Hodson Road and Highway 4.

1:31 p.m., Copperopolis — A cow got out after someone in a four-wheel-drive vehicle cut fences on Moccasin Court and Arrowhead Street.

4:06 p.m., Valley Springs — A man was walking up Baldwin Lane carrying what appeared to be a shotgun. After contacting the subject, a deputy concluded it was a BB gun. 

8:29 p.m., San Andreas — Someone attempted to get into a window and set off an alarm on Calaveritas Road. 

THURSDAY 

2:36 a.m., Arnold — A number of dogs got loose and wrapped their leash around a railing. The caller requested assistance in getting them loose. 

Felony bookings 

WEDNESDAY

5:21 p.m., Valley Springs — John Cody Williams, 32, of the 4400 block of Baldwin Lane, was booked on suspicion of parole violation after an arrest this home. He was also charged with misdemeanor evading a peace officer and obstructing a public officer.

Cited on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs:

WEDNESDAY

8:32 p.m., Valley Springs — Harley Gage Hunter, 21, of the 7600 block of Paso Drive, was booked after an arrest at the 3100 block of Didier Road. He was also charged with misdemeanor obstructing a public officer and hit and run property damage.
