TUOLUMNE COUNTY

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

MONDAY

1:19 p.m., fraud — A person sent money to another country and realized it was a scam.

1:35 p.m., theft — A driver’s license and Social Security card were stolen from a residence on North Stewart Street.

1:19 p.m., school assist — Drug paraphernalia collected at Sonora High School was booked for destruction.

1:54 p.m., school assist — An orange was placed in the tailpipe of a school vehicle at Cassina High School.

3:12 p.m., fight — A mother, daughter and third person were fighting at a business on the 800 block of Mono Way and knocked over a display case.

5:47 p.m., theft — A 12-year-old’s iPad Mini was stolen while she was at a business on the 1200 block of Sanguinetti Road.

7:21 p.m., traffic stop — A vehicle was stopped for not having a front license plate, and a small amount of marijuana in the car was booked for destruction.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

MONDAY

8:22 a.m., Tuolumne — A locked mailbox on the 20400 block of Tuolumne Road North was pried open and mail was stolen.

10:48 a.m., Jamestown — Items were stolen from a house on the 11200 block of Circle Drive.

10:58 a.m., Columbia — Someone broke into a house on the 11400 block of Columbia Village Drive and used soda to write on the wood walls.

11:26 p.m., East Sonora — A vacuum system was stolen from a business on the 13700 block of Mono Way. 

12:42 p.m., Groveland — A woman who smelled of alcohol picked up her child from Tenaya Elementary School.

2:03 p.m., East Sonora — A fence to a property on the 19000 block of Hess Avenue was knocked down over the weekend.

2:33 p.m., Twain Harte — Twain Harte Elementary School was burglarized and a keyboard was stolen.

3:10 p.m., Groveland — A vehicle ran into two other vehicles on the 11800 block of Ponderosa Lane.

4:14 p.m., Sonora area — A non-injury vehicle accident was reported on the 11800 block of Campo Seco Road.

5:07 p.m., Jamestown — A pistol was lost or stolen from the 8400 block of Old Melones Dam Road. 

6:18 p.m., Sonora area — Three vehicles on the 10800 block of Robinwood Lane were rummaged through and an iPod and gift card were stolen.

9:32 p.m., East Sonora — An envelope containing $1,000 was lost or stolen on the the 13700 block of Mono Way.

Felony bookings

MONDAY

12:23 a.m., Columbia — James Harold Njirich, 60, of the 11000 block of State Street, was booked on suspicion of bringing alcohol or drugs into a prison or jail, possessing drugs and a misdemeanor charge of being under the influence of drugs after an arrest on the 22600 block of Parrotts Ferry Road.

MONDAY

4:11 p.m., Sonora area — Joshua Earl Caudill, 28, of the 600 block of Ceilo Vista Way, was booked after an arrest at Mono Way and Greenley Road. He was also booked on suspicion of misdemeanor charges of being under the influence of drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia.

3:59 p.m., Groveland — Blake Roderick Donner, 47, of the 22600 block of Sandean Lane, was booked after an arrest at Highway 120 and Ponderosa Lane. 

CALAVERAS COUNTY

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

MONDAY

9:09 a.m., San Andreas — A fight was reported on Beverlynn Lane.

11:20 a.m., Mokelumne Hill — A water line at Maranatha Lane and Doster Road was vandalized.

12:58 p.m., Arnold — Someone was reported driving under the influence on Elizabeth Drive.

1:12 p.m., Arnold — Grand theft was reported on Ruth Lane.

2:33 p.m., Burson — A fight was reported on Stedman Ranch Road.

MONDAY

11:16 p.m., Mokelumne Hill — Athena Carolyn Brodie, 50, of the 900 block of Simpson Road, Mokelumne Hill, was booked on suspicion of first degree burglary, possession of stolen property and a misdemeanor charge of destroying or concealing evidence after an arrest at Ridge and Simpson roads.
