THURSDAY

7:11 a.m., La Grange — A woman on the 14000 block of Cadena Way said a suspicious-looking man driving a black SUV appeared to be watching her daughter get off the school bus Wednesday.

7:36 a.m., Willow Springs — A man on the 20000 block of Willow Springs Drive said his dog was stolen Wednesday by a man who put the dog in the back of a vehicle and drove away.

9:02 a.m., Dodge Ridge — A man said his wallet containing credit cards and $370 cash was stolen from a locker at the ski area.

10:30 a.m., Standard area — A woman said three rings were stolen from her house on the 19700 block of Serrano Road.

11:02 a.m., Mi-Wuk Village — A woman said students getting off a school bus are passing through yards causing damage. She said her driveway on the 20000 block of Muheli Road was damaged.

3:57 p.m., Jamestown — A meter reader checking a propane gas meter said a man on the 10000 block of Seventh Avenue came out of the house and started yelling at her.

4:17 p.m., Twain Harte — A man said two boxes containing personal items, including checks, were taken from his truck parked on Tiffeni Drive.

5:04 p.m., Tuolumne — A man on the 19000 block of Mi-Wuk Street said his trailer was broken into and a gun, car battery and jumper cables were stolen.

7:13 p.m., Columbia — The bartender at City Hotel said someone drove by the hotel and threw eggs the building.

8:18 p.m., Columbia — A woman walking along Parrotts Ferry Road said a man standing in the shadows made comments to her then followed her to Columbia Historic State Park. She said the man had long hair and was smoking a cigarette.

11:41 p.m., Jamestown — A woman on the 17000 block of Seco Street said she returned home and found blood droplets on her bathroom floor. She had not been home all day.

FRIDAY

6:11 a.m., Columbia — A student at Columbia Elementary School on the 22500 block of Parrotts Ferry Road said a vehicle followed her home.

8:03 a.m., Sonora — A woman on the 12700 block of Chukar Circle requested evening patrol checks. The caller said she has found that people go through her car in the middle of the night.

8:42 a.m., Tuolumne — A woman on the 18400 block of Carter Street said a man in an old, gray, beat-up truck followed her granddaughter home from school Thursday. The woman said every time her granddaughter would walk the truck would follow her and when her granddaughter stopped the truck would stop.

9:17 a.m., Jamestown — A woman on the 5600 block of Green Springs Road said her house was broken into in the last couple of days. The caller said her jewelry and $500 to $600 in change were taken.

10:40 a.m., Groveland — A man on the 11900 block of Valenta Way said someone has been prowling around his house. The caller said the prowler only comes when the caller's wife is home alone, about 6 p.m. The caller's wife had not seen the subject, just the shape of a person's body.

11:01 a.m., Sonora area — A man on the 20300 block of Eureka Drive said he was outside his residence when a white compact vehicle drove into the driveway next to the residence. When the caller approached the vehicle, it began backing out of the neighbor's driveway, and as the caller got closer, the vehicle increased its speed. The vehicle finally left the area at a high rate of speed.

11:15 a.m., Sonora area — A man at Christian Heights Church on the 13700 block of Joshua Way said someone dropped off garbage the in front of the store the night before. The caller said he had video of the subject.

11:47 a.m., Sonora — A woman on Highway 108 said her brother lost her cell phone off his motorcycle while driving up Highway 108 the on Thursday.

2:22 p.m., Sonora area — A man on the 18200 block of Lambert Lake Road said a female is on the fire exit road near his property and threatened to run over the caller and his son.

2:24 p.m., Pinecrest — A woman on the 700 block of Dodge Ridge Road said her husband lost their cell phone last December.

2:57 p.m., Jamestown — A man on Highway 49 said another man has been following him, and this is an ongoing problem.

3:17 p.m., Tuolumne — A woman on the 18100 block of Mount Eaton Road said another woman called and cussed the caller out, and this is an ongoing problem.

3:35 p.m., Sonora area — A man on Elizabeth Lane at Phoenix Lake Road said he was riding his bike on Elizabeth Lane and saw someone in a maroon pickup dump trash at the end of the road.

3:38 p.m., Twain Harte — A man on the 22600 block of Fuller Road said he evicted his tenant and people have been breaking into the house. The caller requested patrol checks of the area until he can better secure the house.

3:53 p.m., Sonora — A caller on Highway 108 at Serrano Road said an older, full-size Ford pickup with a red stripe was parked across from Serrano Road. The caller said he saw a man in his 20s get out of the truck with a rifle in his hand.

4:20 p.m., Jamestown — A caller at Jimtown Trading County on the 18200 block of Main Street said a man ran into a table in the caller's store, knocked over $100 worth of merchandise and didn't say he was sorry, but blamed it on the caller, saying the store's aisles weren't wide enough.

4:59 p.m., Columbia — A caller at the agricultural commissioner's office on the 22300 block of Airport Road South said a county vehicle was broken into the night before while it was parked at the airport. The caller said the stereo was taken from the vehicle.

6 p.m., Soulsbyville — A woman on the 16600 block of Allison Way said she went to get her mail from a locked mail box and some of it has been opened. The woman said she is also missing mail.

6:04 p.m., Groveland — A woman at Big Foot Center on the 12300 block of Alps court said a former employee has been threatening her over money she owes him.

6:59 p.m., Groveland — A caller on the 19600 block of Elder Lane said an 18-year-old suicidal man was at the caller's apartment.

10:04 p.m., Phoenix Lake area — A caller on the 21800 block of Fortuna Mine Road said a blue-gray van was parked between his house and the neighbor's house.

10:07 p.m., Jamestown — A woman on Seventh Street requested extra patrol in her neighborhood. She said her dogs have been barking every few minutes and she feels someone might be prowling the area.

10:39 p.m., Sonora — A man on the 13700 block of Mono Way said another man in his mid-50s with a shaved head has been sitting in a white, two-wheel-drive Ford Ranger in the Taco Bell parking lot and other locations. The caller said the man follows people.

10:46 p.m., Jamestown — A woman on the 8400 block of Old Melones Dam Road said a man was screaming outside and dragging suitcases down the road.

11:53 p.m., Tuolumne — A man on the 18500 block of Pine Street said he was walking home and could hear screaming and saw things being thrown out the door.

SATURDAY

12:19 a.m., Soulsbyville — A woman on the 20400 block of Sherry Lane said she let her dog out and it started barking and went over to a car. The caller went to get the dog and a man jumped up and ran up Sherry Lane with the dog chasing him. The woman said the man was wearing a navy blue sweatshirt and jeans.

1:56 a.m., Columbia — A woman on the 22400 block of Airport Road South said a man hit her in the face, threw her friend to the ground and hit her also.

3:21 a.m., Sonora area — A deputy on the 21000 block of Old Phoenix Lake Road said someone threw a ripe banana at the patrol vehicle and hit the right passenger window. The deputy located the responsible party by following footprints in the wet grass.

4:23 a.m., Tuolumne — A caller at Black Oak Casino on the 19400 block of Tuolumne Road North reported a possibly counterfeit $100 bill.

8:05 a.m., Sonora area — A man on the 19200 block of Cordelia Avenue said a group of mailboxes — including his own — were smashed the night before.

8:13 a.m., Tuolumne — A man on the 19400 block of Tuolumne Road North said he lost his wallet at Black Oak Casino the night before. The black leather flip wallet contained his ID, bank cards, Social Security cards and $185 in cash.

8:37 a.m., Sonora area — A man on the 18200 block of Lambert Lake Road said a gate to the fire exit road has been wired shut.

10:02 a.m., Groveland — A woman at Ken's Market said someone spray-painted "you are weak" in a parking space at the market. The caller said the suspect might be a former employee who is mad at her.

10:09 a.m., Belleview Oaks area — A man said his son was parked at a friend's house on Acorn Drive the night before, and his son's car was vandalized. The caller said his son's car was keyed, someone let air out of two tires and poked holes in the top of the vehicle.

10:34 a.m., Sugar Pine — A woman said someone took a snowboard out of her vehicle while it was parked at their vacation home. The caller said she thought the theft happened Jan. 5.

10:49 a.m., Sonora area — A woman on Brook Drive said she lost her Italian charm bracelet in the Crystal Falls area.

12:15 p.m., Twain Harte — A woman on the 18600 block of Wildwood Drive said her 16-year-old son was assaulted the night before while visiting a friend.

12:38 p.m., Tuolumne — A woman on the 18400 block of Oak Street said another woman was harassing her and sent the caller a note that said "stay off my property."

12:58 p.m., Sonora area — A man on the 11800 block of Highway 49 said another man assaulted him in the parking lot about 20 minutes ago.

1 p.m., Jamestown — A man at Jamestown Harley-Davidson on the 18200 block of Highway 108 said he has a forged check written on a closed account.

1:45 p.m., Phoenix Lake area — A man on the 15400 block of Danata Way said his father-in-law's ATM card was used by his father's caregivers with permission, but now his father is missing thousands of dollars from his bank account.

1:59 p.m., Sierra Village — A woman at Sierra Village Mobilehome Park on the 24900 block of Highway 108 said a knife blade was broken off in one of the coin compartments on the dryer in the laundry room.

2:03 p.m., Jamestown area — A man on the 12500 block of Algerine Road said his neighbor made verbal threats to him.

2:09 p.m., Phoenix Lake area — A woman on the 21600 block of Montgomery Road said people keep coming onto her property on quads. Today she told them to get off her property, but she noticed they had guns and decided not to confront them. She said this is an ongoing problem.

2:39 p.m., Columbia — A man on the 11200 block of Quarry Road said two axles were stolen between Monday and Friday.

3:18 p.m., La Grange — A man on the 13500 block of Salinas Street said a transient had been hanging around the area. The caller said he went outside and asked the man what his business was, and the man started yelling, screaming and threatening the caller. The transient has gray hair, a gray mustache, glasses, a black leather jacket and black pants, and is riding a bike.

4:08 p.m., Sonora area — A mail carrier on the 14800 block of Algerine Road called and said she picked up an explosive device from one of the mailboxes on her route. The caller described the item as gun powder inside a plastic garbage bag with something wrapped around it and painted pink. She met with an officer and said there was no damage to any mail and the mailbox was intact, but a small blast from the package forced the door open. The caller said this is the third such incident on her route.

4:19 p.m., Pinecrest — A man said his car window was broken while his vehicle was parked on Dodge Ridge Road.

4:43 p.m., Twain Harte — A man on the 18800 block of Manzanita Drive said his daughter's bicycle was stolen four or five days ago.

7:35 p.m., Mountain Springs area — A woman on Kincaid Flat Road said two trucks were in the area. When she asked them to slow down, one driver purposely swerved at the caller and cussed at her.

8:16 p.m., Jamestown — Four callers on the 18300 block of Ninth Avenue reported hearing shots or fireworks. Callers said debris from fireworks was hitting their residences. One caller said her dog was hit by something and its mouth was bleeding.

10:29 p.m., Jamestown — A man from the Winkin' Lantern on the 14400 block of Highway 108 said two drunk men were in the club and trying to pick a fight with patrons. Another woman called and said she was told by a customer to call 911 because two men were fighting in the parking lot. While the second caller was checking back with the customer, the first caller called back and said he had one of the men in handcuffs and the other man in the bathroom.

9:03 p.m., Jamestown — A man at the Whistle Stop on the 18300 block of Highway 108 said two men were just in the business and were drunk.

9:06 p.m., Twain Harte — A woman on Knox Drive at Tuolumne Road North said a person has been near the bottom of the caller's driveway for the past hour.

9:54 p.m., Tuolumne — A man said he saw people walk into a vacant building at Pine Street and Chestnut Avenue. The caller later saw someone leave the building and drop something on the street at Carter Street just past Chestnut Avenue. The caller checked what was dropped and said it was a syringe.

10:04 p.m., Sonora — A woman on Covey Circle at Cabezut Road said a white, four-door car was driving on Covey Circle. The woman said the car was full of people yelling. She thought they might be shooting a paintball gun.

10:13 p.m., Phoenix Lake area — A man said he was awakened by someone knocking at his door and asking if he was the person that revved his engine at one of the knocker's children. The knocker demanded to see the caller's vehicle.

10:41 p.m., Tuolumne — A man on the 19400 block of Tuolumne Road North said he left his girlfriend at Black Oak Casino about 6:30 p.m. She was supposed to take the 8:30 p.m. shuttle back to their hotel room and never showed up. He had her paged at the casino and she didn't answer. The woman was found at the casino and an officer gave her a ride to the hotel.

10:53 p.m., Sonora area — A woman called from Tuolumne General Hospital and said she was unable to reach her husband at home. He was supposed to be at the hospital at 3 p.m. but never showed up.

SUNDAY

12:34 p.m., La Grange — A caller said her neighbors are out of town but she could see people in the back yard and smelled a strange odor.

2:55 a.m., Crystal Falls area — A man said juveniles were walking through his neighborhood and appeared to be shooting a BB gun.

7:50 a.m., Jamestown — A woman on the 11000 block of McKibbin Drive said two vehicles parked in front of her residence were broken into the night before. She said nothing appears to be missing.

8:04 a.m., Columbia — A man on the 11000 block of State Street said his stereo and CDs were taken from inside his vehicle.

9:18 a.m., Groveland — A man at Yosemite Westgate Lodge on the 7600 block of Highway 120 said two men were fighting in the parking lot.

12:05 p.m., Sonora area — A man at American Geological Services on the 14800 block of Mono Way said someone broke into the storage shed.

12:09 p.m., Jamestown — A caller on the 18100 block of Main Street said someone broke into his vehicle and the left side mirror was damaged.

1:47 p.m., Jamestown — A man on Main Street said two transients were arguing in Rocca Park.

1:49 p.m., Mi-Wuk Village — A woman in Andy's Mountain Grill and Deli on the 24500 block of Highway 108 said a confused elderly woman was inside.

4:20 p.m., Jamestown — A man on Rawhide Road said two men were standing at the high point of the road and shooting toward the posse grounds.

TODAY

1:12 a.m., Quail Hollow — A caller said three men were looking into cars parked on the 12700 block of Chukar Circle. The caller said the men ran away when a car alarm sounded.

1:19 a.m., East Sonora — A woman said a man in a car was pounding on the window of a fast-food restaurant on the 13700 block of Mono Way.

Felony bookings

FRIDAY

9:20 a.m., Sonora — Jason Matthew Wierschem, 22, general delivery, Sonora, booked on an Amador County warrant charging him with arson after an arrest on Washington Street and Stockton Road, Sonora. He was transferred to Amador County.

2:30 p.m., Sonora — A 23-year-old man, no address available, booked on suspicion of felony spousal battery after an arrest at his home. He remained in custody this morning in lieu of $35,000 bail.

SATURDAY

2:17 a.m., Sonora — A 35-year-old Sonora man booked on suspicion of felony spousal battery after an arrest on the 10300 block of Ratto Road, Sonora. He remained in custody this morning in lieu of $35,000 bail.

2:20 a.m., Tuolumne — Raymond Lee Engle, 31, 19700 block of Highway 108, Sonora, booked on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia and being under the influence of a controlled substance.

According to a sheriff's department report, a deputy was at Black Oak Casino talking with security officers when the deputy noticed Engle on a security camera. The deputy was aware Engle was wanted on an outstanding warrant and detained Engle. During a search the deputy found 1.6 grams of methamphetamine in Engle's pocket.

Engle remained in custody this morning in lieu of $10,000 bail.

David Larry Worthington, 39, 20300 block of Misty Lane, Tuolumne, booked at 10:13 p.m. Saturday after arrest on Highway 108, west of Jamestown.

Trevor Blair Cornish, 25, 2400 block of Wild Oak, Murphys, booked at 12:17 a.m. Sunday after arrest on Washington and Theall streets, Sonora.

6:41 a.m., suspicious circumstances — Public Works reported a suspicious red Subaru at the end of Southgate Drive.

6:59 a.m., traffic accidents — A man reported a non-injury accident on Greenley Road at Mono Way.

7:27 a.m., unclassified — A tree was reported across the railroad tracks east of Tuolumne General Hospital.

7:30 a.m., public peace, fight, disorderly conduct — A woman on the 200 block of Greenley Road said a neighbor threw a rock at her window, missed, and hit the side of the caller's apartment.

8:23 a.m., suspicious circumstances — A woman at Tuolumne County Library on Greenley Road said a man was sitting in front of the library in a dirty black car. The woman said the man resembled the description of someone who tried to grab a student.

11:06 a.m., miscellaneous codes — A woman on the 500 block of South High Street said garbage was being dumped behind a fence.

12:40 p.m., fraudulent activities — A man calling from the 19900 block of Waif Mine Road in Columbia reported fraudulent activities at Union Bank of California on the 1000 block of Mono Way in Sonora.

1:15 p.m., theft — A man at the Pine Tree Peddler on the 100 block of South Washington Street said a cordless Makita drill with Phillips chuck had been stolen. The man said he set the drill down, went upstairs, returned less than five minutes later and the drill was gone.

1:59 p.m., hazardous situation — A caller at Sonora Elementary School on the 800 block of Greenley Road said construction equipment was in the turn lane and causing traffic problems.

2:21 p.m., theft — An officer stopped on the 400 block of North Washington Street. Someone stole a wallet.

2:38 p.m., public peace, fight, disorderly conduct — an officer stopped on the 400 block of North Washington Street. Two subjects were involved in an argument.

7 p.m., agency assist — Two juveniles were seen in the Tuolumne General Hospital emergency room for injuries received while on their school bus that day. The juveniles said the school bus driver became upset and slammed on the brakes, causing their injuries.

7:01 p.m., fraudulent activities — A woman on the 12900 block of Fir Drive said she received counterfeit travelers' checks at her business, Legends, located on the 10 block of South Washington.

7:59 p.m., lost, found property — A caller found two notebooks in the roadway near the high school and brought them to the police department.

8:39 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A woman on the 13500 block of Wilson Court said she saw a man standing in the trees near Mother Lode Adventist School watching the playground as the played. The caller said she did not recognize the man, who was wearing a gray sweatshirt, jeans, had a buzzed haircut and appeared to be in his early 20s. The woman said she knows most of the kids and their parents, and the man did not belong there.

SATURDAY

1:58 a.m., public peace, fight, disorderly conduct — A woman on the 300 block of South Washington Street said several juveniles were making a lot of noise.

5:02 a.m., public peace, fight, disorderly conduct — A caller reported an argument on the 400 block of South Barretta Street.

10:25 a.m., agency assist — A man on the 22400 block of South Airport Road said a green fireball, about one-sixth the size of the moon, traveled west to south or southeast across the sky at about 1:40 a.m. or 2:40 a.m.

12:59 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A caller said a man was parked in a blue Mazda pickup on Lower Sunset Drive. The caller said the man was depressed and possibly suicidal.

1:30 p.m., public intoxication — A man said an intoxicated man with long, brown hair and dark glasses was stumbling in Hospital Road and headed toward Mono Way.

2:51 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A caller at Mailboxes Etc. on the 1200 block of Sanguinetti Road said a man was trying to mail a suspicious package.

4:12 p.m., lost, found property — A brown leather fanny pack was found by the ATM machine at Bank of America. At 5:35 p.m., the fanny pack's owner picked it up. All contents were still there.

9:55 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A man came into the police department on the 100 block of South Green and said he was absent without leave from the Marines out of Camp Pendleton.

10:33 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A man on the 100 block of South Washington Street said someone ran into Blondie's and said someone was driving a vehicle down the street and throwing stuff out of it.

SUNDAY

12:38 a.m., hazardous situation — An officer initiated activity on the 100 block of South Green Street. A chair was in the roadway.

12:57 a.m., agency assist — A man on the 500 block of North Highway 49 reported a woman with unknown medical problems.

4:53 p.m., Valley Springs — A caller on the 7200 block of Da Lee Road reported identity theft.

6:25 p.m., Rail Road Flat — A caller on the Prussian Hill Road said someone entered her residence through a window but nothing is missing.

7:25 p.m., San Andreas — A caller said a shackled man was running down Mountain Ranch Road. A deputy investigated. The man was running, but he was not shackled.

9:57 p.m., San Andreas — A woman on the 100 block of North Main said two people were outside her house damaging her flowers.

SATURDAY

2:54 a.m., San Andreas — A caller on the 600 block of Angels Road said someone might be in her garage. When deputies arrived they found nothing out of the ordinary in the garage or neighborhood.

6:43 a.m., Arnold — A caller on the 2600 block of Country Club Drive called three times about the sonic boom from the space shuttle. The caller thought the shuttle exploded over Bear Valley. The caller first reported it as a UFO that had been over his house for several hours.

9:44 a.m., Valley Springs — A caller at a pay phone at the Chevron station in Valley Springs was screaming and cussing.

10:06 a.m., Angels Camp — A caller on the 10600 block of MJB Ranch Road said trespassers might have been on his property the night before.

10:46 a.m., Vallecito — A caller on the 2600 block of Batten Road said he found a bullet hole in the breezeway.

11:42 a.m., Burson — A caller on the 3300 block of Highway 12 said his landlord had his dog and refused to give it back.

12:49 p.m., Vallecito — A caller on the 4200 block of Ponderosa Way said he saw two juveniles behind a vacant building. The juveniles were throwing things at the building and shooting firecrackers.

2:33 p.m., West Point — A caller on the 2400 block of Lily Gap Road said when he opened his gate to leave, his dog ran out the gate, and a neighbor shot at his dog twice. The dog was not hit, but the caller still wanted to talk to a deputy.

3:08 p.m., Copperopolis — A caller on the 3200 block of Yana Court said a neighbor just shot the caller's dog with a BB.

4:23 p.m., Valley Springs — A caller on the 6900 block of Garner Place said someone left a BMX bicycle in the yard.

SUNDAY

4:38 a.m., San Andreas — A caller on the 2100 block of Gold Strike Road said 10 people were trying to poison his horses and burn his barn before he ran them off the property.

3:15 p.m., San Andreas — A vehicle fire was reported on the 300 block of Nielson Road. San Andreas Fire Protection District responded.

4:50 p.m., Angels Camp — A vehicle fire was reported on the 900 block of Hillcrest Court. Angels Camp Fire Department, Altaville-Melones Fire Protection District, California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection and San Andreas Fire Protection District responded.
