YESTERDAY

8:13 a.m., Jamestown — A man on Peppermint Creek Road said that while he was talking on the phone with his sister, a man interrupted the conversation and threatened to rip the caller's ears and arms off.

9:37 a.m., Soulsbyville — A woman on the 17000 block of Mountainside Drive said someone pretending to be from AT&T said she owed the company money and needed her credit card number to charge it to.

10:42 a.m., Jamestown — A man on the 18700 block of Mill Villa Road said he gave his credit card numbers to a telephone solicitor who said he represented a sheriff's association, but now is afraid the call was not legitimate.

1:09 p.m., Quail Hollow — An employee at Quail Hollow Mini Storage on the 12800 block of Covey Circle said a motorhome parked there was

burglarized and vandalized.

2:33 p.m., Amber Alert — Gardena Police and Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department issued an alert to all law enforcement agencies about the abduction of a 5-year-old boy, possibly by his mother's boyfriend.

3:49 p.m., Jamestown — A woman on the 10300 block of Preston Lane said she left a diaper bag in an apartment building parking lot. The diaper bag had her wallet inside and now it is missing.

3:51 p.m., Twain Harte — A man said a house on the 22400 block of Mono Drive was burglarized in the last three months.

5:26 p.m., Jamestown — A 32-year-old woman, stopped for not having a front license plate, was arrested on a warrant charging her with failure to appear, violation of probation and drunken driving.

9:18 p.m., Twain Harte — A man on the 16000 block of Big Hill Road reported a problem with his wife.

11:32 p.m., Jamestown — A man on the 10100 block of Peppermint Circle said he wanted a deputy to contact him regarding a car sold illegally and now impounded.

Felony bookings

YESTERDAY

6:28 p.m., Columbia area — Dianna Joyce Smith and James Michael Riley, both 42, and both of the 22100 block of Becky River Lane, Sonora, booked on warrants charging them with possessing marijuana for sale after an arrest at their house.

They were released after posting $20,000 bail each.

9:45 p.m., Jamestown — Raymond Chad Watkins, 25, homeless, Jamestown, booked on suspicion of possessing marijuana for sale after an arrest on Ninth and Seventh avenues, Jamestown.

A deputy reported seeing Watkins walking away from a house and recognized the man as being on probation, according to the sheriff's department. The deputy searched Watkins and reported finding three plastic bags containing marijuana. Watkins allegedly admitted he sold marijuana for money because he could not get work.

He remained in custody this morning in lieu of $10,000 bail.

Cited on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol:

Joseph David McKinley, 31, 9500 block of Priest Coulterville Road, Big Oak Flat, booked at 11:50 a.m. yesterday after arrest on Elder Lane, north of Beck, in Groveland.

Richard Henry Eynon, 75, 400 block of Mueller Drive, Groveland booked at 8 p.m. yesterday after arrest on Whites Gulch Road, north of Highway 120, Groveland.

Larry Joseph Lorenzetti, 51, 25500 block of Bambi Lane, Cold Springs, booked at 9:05 p.m. yesterday after arrest on Highway 108 at Cold Springs.

WEDNESDAY

6:47 a.m., hazard — A tractor-trailer was reported to be blocking North Green Street.

1:58 p.m., theft — A man said someone stole items from his car on the 100 block of Summit Avenue.

3:37 p.m., lost property — A man said he lost his wallet in a store or parking lot on the 1100 block of Sanguinetti Road.

3:50 p.m., reckless driver — California Highway Patrol reported a possible drunken driver turning onto Greenley Road from Lyons-Bald Mountain Road.

4:25 p.m., warrant arrest — A 42-year-old woman was arrested on a warrant charging her with failure to appear on charges of driving under the influence and driving on a suspended license. She also was arrested on suspicion of violating probation.

4:57 p.m., lost property — A caller said a wallet was lost or stolen Feb. 16 from a business on the 700 block of Mono Way.

6:26 p.m., vandalism — A caller said a window was broken on the 800 block of Lyons-Bald Mountain Road.

7:18 p.m., suspicious circumstances — An unidentified man said his brother's ex-girlfriend tried to run him over in her vehicle on North Stewart Street.

7:57 p.m., traffic accident — A non-injury crash was reported on the 700 block of Oakside Drive.

7:03 a.m., Copperopolis — A caller said a car appeared to be abandoned at an old mine site called Royal King Mine.

8:41 a.m., Arnold — A caller on the 1200 block of Oak Circle said a boat dry docked at New Melones Reservoir was burglarized within the last month.

12:43 p.m., Angels Camp — A caller on the 2200 block of Marks Ranch Road said her dog was stolen.

4 p.m., Valley Springs — A caller on the 2700 block of Heney Lane said a woman was chasing people with her car yelling at them not to go through a field.

5:53 p.m., Valley Springs — A caller on the 5900 block of South Chili Camp Road said someone was shooting arrows with firecrackers attached to them toward a house.

6:20 p.m., Murphys — A caller said a woman dressed only in a T-shirt was drinking and running around the neighborhood on the 500 block of Highway 4. A deputy investigated and determined the call was unfounded.

6:42 p.m., Valley Springs — A caller on the 8400 block of Pardini said someone was throwing rocks at the house and yelling.
