THURSDAY

8:29 a.m., Twain Harte area — A deputy requested a tow for a white Toyota pickup in a ditch on Longeway Road at South Fork Road. The owner was standing by.

8:30 a.m., East Sonora — A woman on the 19500 block of Hess Avenue said her car was broken into.

8:40 a.m., Tuolumne Area — A deputy asked for a tow for a blue Ford van on Morris Road with front-end problems.

9:40 a.m., Jamestown — A caller said a woman standing in the road at Seco Street and Preston Lane was refusing to move.

10:01 a.m., Pinecrest — A woman said her snowboard was stolen Feb. 15 from the 700 block of Dodge Ridge Road.

11:36 a.m., Columbia — Runway lights worth $3,000 were stolen from Columbia Airport.

11:41 a.m., Columbia — A man on the 12000 block of Columbia College Drive said a stereo was taken from his vehicle.

12:02 p.m., Groveland — A woman said a man was hanging around the Groveland Motel on the 18300 block of Highway 120, harassing customers as they walk out. She said the man carries a machete in the back of his truck, and people "are scared of him."

12:43 p.m., Soulsbyville — A woman on the 16600 block of Allison Way said she believes her identity has been stolen. She said she received a certified letter from the Modesto Police Department saying she is the registered owner of a vehicle that has been impounded, and she has never owned that vehicle.

1:10 p.m., Big Oak Flat — A man on the 17500 block of Big Oak Flat Road said his neighbor stole his vacuum and left a note saying he had stolen it. He said he has an ongoing problem with the neighbor.

1:25 p.m., Groveland — A man said someone broke a spark plug off and stole a spark plug wire from his motorhome on the 19200 block of Ferretti Road.

1:39 p.m., Columbia — A security officer at 11600 Columbia College Drive said he had detained a possibly drunken man.

1:49 p.m. Jamestown — A business owner on the 18100 block of Main Street said a man in his 20s keeps pulling up flowers in front of the business and throwing them away.

3:20 p.m., East Sonora — A woman at Sonora Rentals and Sales on the 13800 block of Highway 108 said a man rented a linoleum roller in November and had not returned it.

3:33 p.m., Jamestown — A woman said she walked through an abandoned house on Ninth Street near Fifth Avenue and saw a man on the floor who didn't move when she made a noise. She said her children had told her about the man.

5:43 p.m., Groveland — A man said he thought a man walking away from the Homemade Candy Shop on the 18600 block of Highway 120 had just stolen merchandise from the business.

5:46 p.m., Sonora area — A woman on West Walnut Drive said a group of young people had set up a basketball hoop on the street and were playing basketball. A deputy said no crime had been committed.

8:12 p.m., Jamestown — A woman on the 18100 block of Golden Oaks Drive said someone had broken into her house.

9:29 p.m., Tuolumne — A security officer at Black Oak Casino on the 19400 block of North Tuolumne Road asked for help removing a man from the casino who was using abusive language and being obnoxious.

10 p.m., Jamestown — A woman on the 10300 block of Preston Lane said a drunken man was sitting on stairs, yelling. He left, but returned and was trying to break a window, she said. A second caller said two or three men were trying to break an apartment window.

10:12 p.m., Jamestown — A woman on the 18300 block of Ninth Avenue said someone broke a window while she was gone.

7:28 a.m., Columbia — A caller said "Yes on Measure H" signs had been destroyed on Highway 49 at Shaws Flat, Parrotts Ferry Road at Union Hill, the 22000 block of Parrotts Ferry Road and Parrotts Ferry Road at North Airport Road.

8:26 a.m., Soulsbyville — A caller on the 20400 block of Sherry Lane said a purse was thrown into her yard during the night. The purse was returned to the owner.

10:00 a.m., Sonora area — A caller said a small bike was left behind a business on the 19500 block of Village Drive.

10:52 a.m., Tuolumne — A caller said her medications were stolen from her house on the 19800 block of Carter Street.

12:34 p.m., Columbia — A caller said two "Yes on Measure H" signs were stolen from the Parrotts Ferry Road and Highway 49 intersection.

12:46 p.m., Soulsbyville — A caller said auto parts were stolen from her yard on the 19600 block of Soulsbyville Road.

1:33 p.m., Sonora area — A caller on the 20200 block of Grouse Way said $250 was missing from his wife's purse.

3:20 p.m., west county — A caller on the 13900 block of Tulloch Dam Road said his friend's house was burglarized and guns were taken.

3:45 p.m., Pinecrest — A Dodge Ridge Ski Resort employee said he was detaining a 13-year-old on suspicion of shoplifting.

5:05 p.m., Jamestown — A caller said a man was walking around a vacant lot, "acting strangely" near the caller's house on the 13900 block of Lake Drive.

5:59 p.m., Long Barn — A man said his snowboard flew off the top of his car near Little Sweden.

6:22 p.m., Crystal Falls — A man said someone took wood from the side of his house on the 21800 block of Russian River Drive over the last couple of days.

6:46 p.m., Jamestown — A caller said two teenagers dumped a child's bike near propane tanks on the 18300 block of Highway 108.

8:29 p.m., Columbia — A caller said a "disoriented" man showed up at an RV park office on the 11500 block of Yankee Hill Road, saying he had nowhere to go.

8:32 p.m., Twain Harte — A caller from the Eproson House on Twain Harte Drive said customers were trying to leave without paying their bill.

9:04 p.m., Jamestown — A woman said her mother's wallet was stolen on the 16900 block of Chicken Ranch Road.

9:11 p.m., Sonora area — A woman on the 20100 block of Jamestown Road said a neighbor threatened her.

SATURDAY

1:10 a.m., Tuolumne — A woman's purse was stolen from the 19400 block of Tuolumne Road.

2:15 a.m., Columbia — A caller said there was a fight on Howser Lane between more than 20 people, some of them with shotguns. A deputy said there was a fight at a party, but no weapons were involved.

2:30 a.m., Jamestown — A caller on the 18300 block of Fifth Avenue said she saw two people running from the outside of her house.

7:04 a.m., Tuolumne — A man said a car backed into his driveway on the 20600 block of Maranatha Road and sat there.

8:12 a.m., Mi-Wuk Village — A caller on the 24600 block of Highway 108 said someone broke his car's window overnight and stole his wife's purse.

8:38 a.m., Dardanelle — A woman at the Dardanelle Resort said two trucks' windows were broken during the night.

8:48 a.m., Strawberry — A woman on Herring Creek Lane said someone had broken her car window and stole two snowboards from inside.

9:39 a.m., Phoenix Lake area — A woman on the 21800 block of Belleview Road said her vehicle's side windows had been broken.

11:13 a.m., Jamestown — A woman on the 17700 block of Woods Way said her son took DVDs, towels, blankets, medicine, checks and debit cards from her.

2:05 p.m., Tuolumne — A caller said her wallet was stolen from her house on the 19300 block of Cherokee Road yesterday.

4:47 p.m., Jamestown — A woman on the 17900 block of Seco Street said her friend is fighting with her boyfriend.

4:51 p.m., Columbia — A caller said eight older teenagers were four-wheeling on forest service land at the end of American Camp Lookout Road.

4:53 p.m., Pinecrest — A caller on Dodge Ridge Road said a man was down along the road "not doing well."

6:03 p.m., Jamestown — A man on the 10200 block of Preston Lane said his 12-year-old son was beaten up by an older boy.

7:23 p.m., Sonora area — A woman on Grouse Way said a man was in front of a clubhouse arguing with a woman. The caller said they were throwing bottles at each other.

11:10 p.m., Jamestown — A woman on the 8400 block of Melones Dam Road said a 13-year-old girl was trying to stab her father with a pair of scissors.

YESTERDAY

2:25 a.m., Columbia — A caller said six bags of trash were in the middle of Cattle Drive Trail.

7:48 a.m., Sonora area — A woman on the 19900 block of Waif Mine Road said she saw a woman take her newspaper.

THURSDAY

5:13 p.m., Cedar Ridge — A 44-year-old woman turned herself in to the Tuolumne County Jail on a Tuolumne County warrant charging her with three counts of child molestation. She was released on $15,000 bail.

Sonora police reports

THURSDAY

7:54 a.m., theft — A car was broken into during the night at Sonora Regional Medical Center. The front passenger window was shattered and a bag was taken.

11:15 a.m., traffic accident — A non-injury traffic accident occurred on South Washington Street.

1:53 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A caller said people were panhandling in front of businesses on Stockton Road.

8:24 p.m., public intoxication — A caller said a man was inside a business on Stockton Road drinking. The 52-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public.

8:26 p.m., traffic accident — A non-injury traffic accident occurred at the Timberhills shopping center on the 1000 block of Mono Way.

11:32 p.m., vandalism — A caller said two men came from under stairs near a business on South Stewart Street and kicked a water pipe. Water was gushing out of the damaged pipe. The caller said they were also smoking "an illegal substance" under the stairs.

FRIDAY

9:19 a.m., property damage — A vehicle was egged on the 400 block of North Stewart Street.

11:11 a.m., theft — A caller said cash and other items were taken from an unlocked vehicle in a driveway on the 500 block of South Barretta Street.

12:25 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A Denny's employee said someone was attempting to pay with a counterfeit $20 bill.

11:54 p.m., disorderly conduct — A caller on Linoberg Street said he or she saw someone running with what looked like a rifle.

SATURDAY

7:32 a.m., hazardous situation — A caller on Shaws Flat Road said there was water bubbling up over a manhole cover. The water was determined to be raw sewage. Tuolumne Utilities District responded.

10:33 a.m., property damage — The owner of BJ's Cards and Collectables on South Washington Street said the front door had been damaged.

11:30 a.m., suspicious circumstances — A caller said a man was walking up and down School and Snell streets yelling.

3:45 p.m., theft — A caller on the 200 block of Greenley Road said a BMX bike was stolen.

4:21 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A woman on the 600 block of Golden Gate Court said someone hooked a hose up to her vacant house and is using her water.

6:54 p.m., theft — A purse was stolen from the 700 block of Mono Way.

8:13 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A woman said three or four men pulled a gun on her son and his friend as they rode their bikes on South Stewart Street.

8:14 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A caller said a woman in the Tuolumne General Hospital lobby would not leave when asked.

10:10 p.m., suspicious circumstances — An employee at the Sonora Family Bowl on South Stewart Street said a man might have used a fake ID to get into the bar.

10:45 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A caller said a woman was bothering customers and wouldn't leave a business on Restano Way.

YESTERDAY

12:04 a.m., suspicious circumstances — A problem at a bar on the 100 block of South Washington Street was reported to police.

12:30 a.m., suspicious circumstances — An officer followed a vehicle that was "all over the roadway" on South Washington Street.

4:50 a.m., suspicious circumstance — A caller from the Inns of California on South Washington Street said a group of men were trashing a motel room they rented and have moved on to trash another room which they did not rent.

Harold Encinias, 50, 12700 block of Camp Seco Road, booked at 2:54 a.m. Thursday after a traffic stop on Morning Star Drive at Morning Star Court in Sonora.

8:27 a.m., Murphys — A leaf blower and other items were stolen from the 100 block of Highway 4.

9:10 a.m., Copperopolis — A caller on the 2500 block of Mohawk Court said a neighbor from seven doors down came and pounded on the door.

10:42 a.m., San Andreas — A person reported possible check fraud.

2:05 p.m., San Andreas — A caller on the 400 block of Pope Street said 40 CDs and some change were stolen from his or her truck Tuesday night.

2:21 p.m., Valley Springs — A caller reported finding a hypodermic needle outside his or her apartment on the 200 block of Cedar Street.

4:10 p.m., San Andreas — A woman at Town Hall said she's been harassed by people when she's in public. She said she feels as if she's being threatened. She told a deputy that she does not know who the people harassing her are.

4:54 p.m., Copperopolis — A caller on the 2500 block of Choctaw Road said a woman has been harassing the caller's family.

FRIDAY

1 a.m., Hathaway Pines — An attempted burglary was reported on the 200 block of Cedar Drive.

Stephen Dwight Fernandez, 20, of Lodi, booked at 12:55 a.m. Saturday after arrest at the intersection of Daphne and Chestnut streets in Valley Springs.

Kyle David Hensel, 18, of Lodi, booked at 2:35 a.m. Saturday after arrest on Main Street in Angels Camp.

Alex Antonio Martinez, 31, 300 block of Olympia Avenue, Copperopolis, booked at 1:15 p.m. Saturday after arrest in Connor Estates subdivision in Copperopolis.

Michael Elias Poyorgna, 40, of Modesto, booked at 9:30 p.m. Saturday after arrest near Murphys.

Stephen Charles Andrews, 62, unknown address, booked at 2:03 a.m. yesterday after arrest in White Pines.

Richard Edward McMillan, 48, 100 block of Sequoia Street, Valley Springs, booked at 9 a.m. yesterday after arrest at the Calaveras County Sheriff's Department.

Fires

YESTERDAY

7:09 p.m., Valley Springs area — A defective water heater ignited a small fire on the 14000 block of Happy Valley Road. An engine crew from the Foothill Fire District doused the blaze, which did minimal damage, within minutes.
