The Sonora Police Department reported the following:


7:54 a.m., hazard — Two big rigs were stalled on the ice at Stockton Road and South Washington Street.

4:16 p.m., traffic accident — An accident was reported on the 1100 block of Sanguinetti Road.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:


8:01 a.m., Twain Harte area — A vehicle was burglarized and a phone taken at Phoenix Lake and Longeway roads.

9:11 a.m., Soulsbyville — A woman left her vehicle on the 20500 block of Willow Springs Drive during the storm, and someone broke a window and tried to siphon the fuel. 

9:48 a.m., Sonora area — A downed tree was blocking both lanes at Lime Kiln and Murphy roads.

12:09 a.m., Long Barn — A woman’s car was stolen in Cold Springs on Feb. 16. The woman reported that her wallet was inside and someone used her credit card in Sonora and Stockton.

1:37 p.m., Jamestown — A man said someone attempted to pry open the back door of his home on the 13800 block of Tarantula Mine Road.

3:47 p.m., Sonora area — A license plate was stolen from a box trailer on the 20900 block of Lynn Lane.

6:04 p.m., Sonora area — A woman’s money and cell phone were stolen from her home on the 19000 block of Berg Court.

6:45 p.m., Chinese Camp — A non-injury accident was reported at Highway 49 and Sims Road.

11:44 p.m., Jamestown — A woman who appeared to be intoxicated was yelling at people on the 10300 block of Preston Lane. She called 911, told dispatchers that her husband was cheating on her and said she needed the cops.

3:04 p.m., Sonora area — Danny Richard McLaughlin, 35, of the 17400 block of Campbells Flat Road, was booked on suspicion of possession of a stolen vehicle and local warrants after an arrest at Barretta Street and Cemetery Lane.



11:16 a.m., San Andreas — Items were stolen from an unlocked vehicle on Calaveritas Road.

11:26 a.m., Valley Springs — A person was arrested on suspicion of a health and safety violation at Pine and Daphne streets.

2:28 p.m., Avery — Two teenage boys were throwing things at cars on Highway 4.

4:22 p.m., West Point — An assault was reported on Highway 26.

4:52 p.m., Valley Springs — An “eggs for sale” sign on Garner Place was stolen.

8:44 p.m., Douglas Flat — A man was at the door of home on Main Street requesting to have a drink with a person who no longer lives there. He was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication.

9:42 p.m., Burson — Goats were “cruising” down the road at Highway 12 and Burson Road.

10:28 p.m., Valley Springs — A person was arrested on a local warrant at a business on the 100 block of Vista Del Lago Drive.

11:50 a.m., Valley Springs — Jessica Irizarry, 27, of the 4100 block of Brooks Road, was booked on suspicion of drug possession, a misdemeanor charge of possessing drug paraphernalia and an infraction of possession of marijuana after an arrest the Valley Springs Vets Field.

2:44 p.m., San Andreas — Sarah Lynn Kennedy, 29, of the 5600 block of Silver Saddle Drive, Hathaway Pines, was booked after an arrest on Mountain Ranch Road at Highway 49.
