Sheriff's reports

THURSDAY

7:20 a.m., Cold Springs — An overturned vehicle was blocking Highway 108. No one was injured, according to the California Highway Patrol.

7:52 a.m., Sonora Meadows — A woman on the 16500 block of Creekside Drive said a blue chrome mountain bike was abandoned in a wooded area behind her house. A deputy took the bike.

8:36 a.m., Jamestown area — A man found what he thought were human bones near an old Chevy pickup abandoned at the end of a cul-de-sac off Stent Jacksonville Road.

8:49 a.m., Jamestown — A woman said flooring material and an air compressor were stolen from a house on the 8100 block of Dante Drive.

9:15 a.m., Tuolumne — A 48-year-old man was booked on misdemeanor warrants after an arrest on Pine Street at Tuolumne Road.

9:22 a.m., Tuolumne — A woman said a man was walking on Cherokee Road toward Tuolumne Road carrying a bottle of tequila. She said the man gave her a strange look and refused to get out of the road.

11:57 a.m., Phoenix Lake area — A man said a purple car followed him up Phoenix Lake Road and Ridgewood Road then rammed the his own car.

12:10 p.m., Tuolumne — A woman on the 18400 block of Cedar Street said gasoline was siphoned from her son's vehicle overnight.

12:24 p.m., Jamestown — A woman said her sister's ex-husband and two homeless men were behind a house on the 18600 block of Highway 108 near a creek and refused to leave.

12:37 p.m., East Sonora — A caller said two children were left alone in a vehicle parked in front of a store at The Junction shopping center. One child was crying and another was honking the horn.

12:52 p.m., Quail Hollow — A man on the 20200 block of Sparrow Lane said four men in a vehicle pulled up to him outside his house and threatened to jump him.

3:15 p.m., Twain Harte — A woman said she saw a white pickup full of trash on Mt. Provo Road. She was concerned the driver might dump the trash off the road. She gave a dispatcher the truck's license plate number.

4:35 p.m., Twain Harte — A man said tools were stolen from a job site on the 24100 block of Mt. Elizabeth Road two to three weeks ago.

7:30 p.m., Jamestown — A woman said a CD player was stolen out of her locked vehicle, parked on the 10200 block of Preston Lane.

10:12 p.m., Cedar Ridge — A man said two cars and a truck sped past his house on Estralita Drive, then went into the woods.

10:55 p.m., Tuolumne — A Black Oak Casino security officer said a driver, possibly drunk, hit a pole in the casino parking lot.

FRIDAY

12:30 a.m., Tuolumne area — A 28-year-old man was booked on an El Dorado County misdemeanor warrant charging him with possessing less than an ounce of marijuana while driving and battery after an arrest on Tuolumne Road near Morris Road.

9:22 a.m., Twain Harte — A woman calling from the 22700 block of Highland Drive said someone tried to break into her home. She found pry marks on the door and jamb.

9:49 a.m., Cold Springs — A caller on the 28900 block of Snow White Ridge Drive said squatters had been in a vacation cabin she was opening for one of her clients. No one was there when she arrived, but lights were on and food was left out.

11:11 a.m., Soulsbyville — A caller on the 17200 block of Monte Grande Road said a neighbor was in the caller's truck trying to start it. When asked what he was doing, the neighbor said he needed to borrow the truck to jump start his own vehicle. The caller told the neighbor to leave and he did.

11:18 a.m., Soulsbyville — A caller said a woman in a gold car drove up to her house on the 20500 block of Kings Court, took a picture and drove on.

1:48 p.m., Twain Harte — A caller from Central California Bank, 18700 block of Tiffeni Drive, said a forged check, made out for $752.32, was passed at the bank.

1:53 p.m., Tuolumne — A caller from Summerville Elementary School, 18400 block of Carter Street, said a 13-year-old child was in the office for having a knife on campus.

2:09 p.m., Mi-Wuk Village — A woman on the 20500 block of Chief Fuller Way said she assumed someone tried to break into her home because a screen was broken. The caller also wanted to report identity theft, but said it was a separate incident and she would call back later.

2:31 p.m., Jamestown — A woman calling on the 10200 block of Preston Lane said her 12-year-old son stole her cigarettes. When the dispatcher asked if the caller had an emergency, the woman got angry and hung up.

4:14 p.m., Tuolumne — A woman calling on the 18700 block of Madrone Street said four people came to her house and threatened to beat up her husband and set him on fire.

SATURDAY

9:20 a.m., Tuolumne — A caller on the 18300 block of Bay Avenue said her husband's cell phone was stolen from his unlocked pickup.

9:36 a.m., Pinecrest — A caller at Dodge Ridge Ski Area reported lift-pass fraud.

9:56 a.m., Sonora — A woman calling on the 12700 block of Chukar Circle said she didn't think her neighbor fed his dog properly. The neighbor was sick and his girlfriend was taking care of him, but she didn't feed the dog at all, the caller said. The caller had been feeding and watering the dog and was advised to continue doing so.

1:46 p.m., East Sonora — A woman calling on the 21300 block of Green Meadow Lane said someone broke her front-door window.

2:03 p.m., Jamestown — A caller on the 17300 block of Table Mountain Road said someone entered a storage building and "punched" the ignition of a pickup parked outside, then rolled it down a hill.

3:31 p.m., Twain Harte — A caller on the 13700 block of Cheryl Way said an outboard motor was stolen from his yard.

5:40 p.m., Sonora — A stereo was stolen from a dorm room at Columbia College, 11700 block of Columbia College Drive, when the person who lives there stepped out for about 30 minutes, leaving the door open, a caller said.

7:55 p.m., Sonora — A caller on the 21100 block of Shaws Flat Road said a vehicle broke down in front of the caller's house and a group of kids were sitting out in front. One of them was lying in the middle of the road.

10:03 p.m., Willow Springs — A caller on the 17400 block of Carlozzi Drive said two men were sitting in a vehicle in front of her house with their lights on. One man was wearing a hard hat.

SUNDAY

11:17 a.m., Jamestown — A caller at the Rawhide Saloon, 18200 block of Highway 108, said a man broke some tables and chairs in the bar and then took off.

Felony bookings

THURSDAY

10:27 a.m., Race Track Road area — Benjamin Michael King, 29, 22400 block of South Airport Road, Columbia, booked on an Idaho warrant charging him with grand theft after a traffic stop and arrest on Jamestown Road at Race Track Road.

He remained in jail this morning, held without bail.

Arrests

Cited on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol:

Charles Anthony Poirier, 31, 400 block of North Sixth Avenue, Oakdale, booked at 1 p.m. Thursday after arrest on Greenley Road at Morning Star Drive, Sonora. He was also booked on a Napa County warrant charging him with driving on a license previously suspended for a drunken-driving conviction.

Frank Vazquez, 48, 11200 block of John Wallace Drive, Columbia, booked at 12:20 a.m. Friday after arrest on Village Drive at Commercial Drive, Mono Village.

Ralph Herbert Fisher, 64, 20000 block of Cedar Springs Road, Twain Harte, booked at 12:25 a.m. Friday after arrest on the 19000 block of Tuolumne Road North, Tuolumne.

Sonora police reports

THURSDAY

9:06 a.m., vandalism — A caller said a van parked on North Stewart Street was struck during the night.

9:12 a.m., animal complaints — A caller said a tan dog was running in and out of traffic near Courthouse Park on North Washington Street.

9:24 a.m., burglary — Dollar bills from a photocopier machine were stolen from Tuolumne County Library. Sonora police said the building's burglar alarm was disabled after the thief entered the building with a key.

11:02 a.m., theft — A woman said an inheritance check was stolen from her house, on Oakside Drive.

12:50 p.m., theft — A generator was stolen from Sign Pro on the 900 block of Mono Way.

2:33 p.m., theft — Roller blades and CDs were stolen from a car parked on South Green Street.

3:38 p.m., suspicious circumstances — An attempted burglary was reported at a house on the 200 block of Rose Street.

4:58 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A woman on the 100 block of South Arbona Circle said her son's 1962 Plymouth was sideways in the road, blocking traffic. She said this has happened before.

5:54 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A woman said while she was at Heaven For Kids Park on Greenley Road she saw a suspicious-looking man who was looking at children.

11:53 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A caller on the 500 block of Olive Street said three men came to the back door, but walked off. An officer checked the area but was unable to find the men.

FRIDAY

12:08 a.m., suspicious circumstances — A caller on the 200 block of Sunset Drive said two men came to the door wanting money for bus tickets.

4:05 a.m., theft — A caller on the 100 block of East Jackson Street said a man took her keys and sunglasses.

7:14 a.m., fraudulent activities — A woman on the 1300 block of Shaws Flat Road said someone used her credit card to pay for an Internet porn site.

1:11 p.m., lost, found property — A caller said he found a Bank of America debit card while walking on Washington Street.

1:27 p.m., controlled substances — While cleaning his garage on the 300 block of Fairview Lane, a caller said he found drug paraphernalia and what could have been a controlled substance.

1:46 p.m., vehicle theft — A caller on the 800 block of Oakside Drive reported her 1993 Jeep stolen.

3:29 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A man bought $400 in electronics with silver certificates and uncirculated Susan B. Anthony dollars at Wal-Mart on the 1100 block of Sanguinetti Road.

11:29 p.m., theft — A woman lost her ATM card at Save Mart, 1000 block of Mono Way, and someone used it.

SATURDAY

12:43 a.m., public peace, fight, disorderly conduct — Two men were sitting on a bench on the 100 block of South Washington Street trying to pick fights with people walking by.

7:53 a.m., suspicious circumstances — Mailboxes along Shaws Flat Road were opened and a stack of mail was placed under the windshield wiper of a car that had been parked for several days.

11:50 a.m., any civil problem — Tenants in a boarding house on the 30 block of West Bradford Avenue didn't let in a cleaner the landlord had hired.

2:13 p.m., vandalism, property damage — A passerby noticed a glass pane was broken on the back door of a restaurant on the 100 block of South Washington Street.

THURSDAY

2:02 p.m., Murphys — A trailer was vandalized at a storage yard on the 4400 block of French Gulch Road.

3 p.m., San Andreas — A woman, reportedly drunk, was arrested after falling asleep in a chair at a business on the first block of West St. Charles Street.

3:05 p.m., West Point — A husband and wife were reported arguing on the 23000 block of Highway 26. The wife left with the couple's child.

3:19 p.m., Valley Springs — A caller said a vehicle was broken into — for the fourth time — on the first block of Daphne Street. A black T-shirt was stolen.

3:13 p.m., Valley Springs — An ongoing dispute between neighbors was reported on the 7900 block of Cabernet Street.

5:03 p.m., San Andreas — A son refused to get in his mother's car on the 800 block of Mountain Ranch Road.

6:13 p.m., West Point — A domestic dispute was reported on the 300 block of Main Street.

7:22 p.m., Valley Springs — A car's passenger window was shattered on the first block of Daphne Street.

FRIDAY

12:44 a.m., Valley Springs — A caller on the 6300 block of Coultroop Lane said she heard an explosion.

8:53 a.m., Valley Springs — A man was reported to be standing on the edge of a sheer drop at a rock quarry on the 3600 block of Hogan Dam Road and yelling at workers. A caller suspected him of being suicidal.

9:27 a.m., Jenny Lind — A sixth-grader was in the principal's office for bringing a wine drink in a water bottle to Jenny Lind Elementary School, on the 100 block of Driver Road.

1:15 p.m., Valley Springs — A caller reported that a business in the process of moving out on the 100 block of Pine Street was vandalized.

1:52 p.m., Douglas Flat — A 911 caller on the 1400 block of Main Street said his stepdaughter was throwing out his alcohol. He told the deputy that next time he would hide it better.

3:56 p.m., Valley Springs — A residence on the 3800 block of Bartelink Drive was vandalized and destroyed.

9:45 p.m., San Andreas — A man calling from a pay phone on the 400 block of East St. Charles said someone was stabbed. Deputies were unable to locate anyone.

11:06 p.m., San Andreas — A patient of Mark Twain St. Joseph's Hospital, on the 700 block of Mountain Ranch Road, was ripping out her IV and trying to leave.

SATURDAY

2:27 a.m., Vallecito — A snack bar on the 3600 block of Church Street was broken into.

9:30 a.m., Copperopolis — An eagle statue was taken from alongside a driveway on the 3800 block of Signal Hill Trail.

12:35 p.m., Valley Springs — A caller on the 500 block of Quail Oaks Road found part of a gun and ammunition on a rental property.

3:15 p.m., Murphys — A caller on the 300 block of Scotts Street complained that a neighbor continues to walk past her residence and comment about how long she has been gone.

9:22 p.m., Avery — Three men calling from the 2000 block of Rancho Paradiso reported breaking road signs.

THURSDAY

10:03 p.m., Valley Springs — Mark Anthony Reberiego, 18, 8000 block of McAtte Street, Valley Springs, booked on suspicion of burglary after arrest at his home. As of this morning, Reberiego remained in custody at Calaveras County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bail.

FRIDAY

7:45 a.m., San Andreas — Scott Michael Foley, 33, 3000 block of Highway 49, San Andreas, booked on a felony battery charge and for allegedly possessing marijuana. Foley remains in custody as of this morning in lieu of $100,000 bail.

Arrests

Cited on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol:

Alison Elizabeth Kaylor, 44, 1000 block of Highway 49, San Andreas, booked at 11:40 p.m. Thursday after arrest on Treat Avenue in San Andreas.
