Sheriff's reports


8:06 a.m., Columbia — The Tuolumne County Agricultural Commissioner's Office on the 22300 block of South Airport Road was burglarized after a window was pried open. Gasoline was siphoned out of a truck and a case of oil was stolen.

9:29 a.m., Tuolumne — A woman on the 20100 block of Eastview Drive said gold and jewelry were stolen from her house.

11:34 a.m., Jamestown — A man said items that belonged to his deceased father were stolen from a house on the 11000 block of Golf Links Road.

11:38 a.m., Twain Harte — A woman on the 22400 block of Tuolumne Road said a car window was broken.

4:09 p.m., Tuttletown area — A woman on the 8500 block of Wilcox Ranch Road said an electric scooter valued at $100 was stolen from a garage.

4:16 p.m., Jamestown — A caller said a drunken man was causing a disturbance on Main Street.

5:52 p.m., Crystal Falls — A caller said he could see two men fighting on the 21000 block of Russian River Drive.

6:56 p.m., Columbia — A woman said a man was inciting a fight with another man at Columbia College dorms.

10:27 p.m., Jamestown — A woman said a possibly drunken man drove up to a convenience store on the 18100 block of Highway 108. Deputies were unable to locate the man.


Cited on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol:

Mark Hogle, 45, 21500 block of Phoenix Lake Road, Sonora, booked at 2:10 a.m. today after arrest on Washington Street and Restano Way, Sonora.

1:08 a.m., suspicious circumstances — An officer checked on an open gate at an office building on the 600 block of Woods Creek Drive.

8:27 a.m., hazard — A caller said there was a 6-inch hole with water running beneath it on the 200 block of South Shepherd Street. The caller said the hole was 10 feet from a spot the city patched.

11:53 a.m., found property — A purse was found in a shopping cart in the parking lot of a business on the 700 block of Mono Way.

12:19 p.m., suspicious circumstances — An officer checked on two people in Courthouse Square on the first block of North Washington Street.

4:49 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A woman reported a possibly injured woman on the 400 block of Highway 49.

9:27 a.m., San Andreas — A vehicle parked at Toyon Business Park on Highway 12 was reported vandalized.

10:20 a.m., Jenny Lind — A bicycle was reported stolen from a house on the 7000 block of Jenny Lind Road. The theft occurred in December, the caller said.

12:17 p.m., Arnold — Items at a house on the 2800 block of Pine Knoll Drive were vandalized.

4:47 p.m., Mokelumne Hill — A man was said to be causing a disturbance at a convenience store on Highway 49.

Felony bookings


9:10 a.m., San Andreas — Terri Lee Martin, 36, of the first block of East Columbia Way in Sonora, booked on suspicion of second-degree burglary, receiving stolen property and misdemeanor petty theft after arrest in court. She was ordered to report to the jail for booking, then released.


Cited on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol:

Francisco Castro Saucedo, 49, 1100 block of Elk Horn, Carruthers, booked at 6:30 p.m. yesterday after arrest on Highway 4 east of Pool Station Road, south of San Andreas.
