TUOLUMNE COUNTY The Sheriff’s Office reported the following: MONDAY 10:12 a.m., Sonora area — A stereo was stolen out of a truck while it was parked on the 19900 block of Greenley Road. 4:32 p.m., Sonora area — A mailbox was pried open at a business on the 14200 block of Tuolumne Road. The caller only wanted the incident documented as nothing appeared to be missing from the mailbox. 5:54 p.m., Twain Harte — A woman on the 22800 block of Golf Club Drive said medication was taken from her residence. 6:25 p.m., Mi-Wuk Village — A person on the 24000 block of Pine Cone Road said a neighbor’s vacation residence was burglarized. Arrests Cited on suspicion of driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs: MONDAY 11:32 p.m., Sonora area — Rod Robert Steven Trujillo, 21, of an unknown address, was arrested on Highway 49 west of Stockton Road. The Sonora Police Department reported the following: MONDAY 9:10 a.m., found property — A man found a TV, DVD player and other items near his residence on Ash Street. 12:56 p.m., theft — A woman on South Nevada Street said her guitar was missing from her sister’s residence. 1:32 p.m., theft — A man on South Barretta Street said a baseball glove was stolen from his unlocked vehicle during the night. 6:07 p.m., fraudulent activities — Someone at a shop on North Washington Street received a counterfeit $100 bill from a customer. The person said the man took the bill out of an envelope that contained several other bills. CALAVERAS COUNTY The Sheriff’s Office reported the following: MONDAY 2:46 p.m., Copperopolis — Someone said there was a possible forgery on Baker Street. 5:24 p.m., Murphys — A burglary occurred to a market on Highway 4. 10 p.m., Valley Springs — A burglary occurred on O’Reilly Street. TUESDAY 2:08 a.m., Arnold — A report was taken for suspicious circumstances on Ponderosa Way. Felony bookings MONDAY 5:50 p.m., San Andreas — Lindsey Matheson, 18, of the 1400 block of Mable Avenue, was booked on suspicion of vandalism, after an arrest at Mark Twain St. Joseph’s Hospital. 10:30 p.m., Vallecito — Matthew Steven Prier, 20, of the 1000 block of Bush Street, Angels Camp, was booked on suspicion of second-degree burglary and conspiracy to commit a crime, after an arrest on the 1900 block of Sugar Pine Way. 10:36 p.m., Murphys — Rachelle Lynn Hogue, 27, of the 2100 block of Butte Mountain Road, was booked on suspicion of vandalism, after an arrest at her home. |
