Sheriffs Reports

SUNDAY

10:18 a.m., Sonora — A man calling on the 13800 block of Florence Way reported damage to his mailbox.

1:28 p.m., Jamestown — A caller on Willow Street said a man was walking around, talking to trash cans and making gestures. When deputies approached the man, they found he was singing along with his Walkman.

2:41 p.m., Sunnyvale — The Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety issued a warning that hydrochloric acid had been stolen from Reaction Technology on the 1200 block of Bordeaux, Sunnyvale. Due to the high terrorist threat level and the possibility the acid could be used as a weapon, all law enforcement agencies were told to be on the lookout.

3:14 p.m., Pinecrest — A Dodge Ridge employee said a customer pulled a gun in the parking lot, took the clip out and pretended to shoot a friend.

3:15 p.m., Mi-Wuk Village — A caller reported that a window was broken and several items were piled in the front yard of a vacation home on the 24000 block of Paipu Road. The caller said it might have been an interrupted burglary.

4:27 p.m., Jamestown — A caller on the 17900 block of Seco Street said his ex-roomates were "messing" with his truck.

4:52 p.m., Tuttletown — A caller said a friend of hers was confronting several trespassers who refused to leave his property, on the 8600 block of Wilcox Ranch Road.

8:49 p.m., Groveland — A caller on the 18500 block of El Capitan Way said that she heard that a 19-year-old man had been beaten so badly by his mother and stepfather that he couldn't get out of bed, that his eyes were swollen shut and that he couldn't talk.

9:44 p.m., Pine Mountain Lake — A man calling on the 19700 block of Pine Mountain Drive said firewood had been stolen.

Arrests

Cited on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol:

Katie Lynn Woodside, 26, 23900 block of Yellow Pine Road, Sugar Pine, arrested at 2:15 a.m. Saturday on Phoenix Lake Road at Hess Avenue.

Howard Marion Bruce, 68, 14200 block of Tuolumne Road, arrested at 4:32 a.m. yesterday after arrest at Shepherd and Lyons streets.

Stacy Lynn Fielder, 34, 1900 block of Meadowview Road, Arnold, arrested at 4:45 a.m. yesterday on Highway 49 south of Jackass Hill Road.

Felony bookings

FRIDAY

10:39 p.m., Sonora — Diane Lynne Boucher, 39, 100 block of East Columbia Way, Sonora, booked on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance. She was arrested following a traffic stop on Stewart Street in Sonora after an officer found methamphetamine under the driver's seat, police said. Boucher was also booked on a Merced County warrant charging her with perjury and unlawful use of food stamps. She is remained in jail this morning in lieu of $25,000 bail.

11:46 p.m., Sonora — Derrick Lucio Franco, 24, no address given, Sonora. Booked on suspicion of burglary and receiving stolen property after arrest at Stewart and Theall streets. Police said he had several items from a Sylvan Road home burglarized over the weekend. He remained in Tuolumne County Jail this morning in lieu of $15,000 bail.

SATURDAY

12:12 a.m., Sonora area — Michelle Suzanne Travers, 33, 18900 block of North Drive, booked on suspicion of damaging a telephone at her home. She has been released on $5,000 bail.

9:12 p.m., Sonora area — Wesley Robert Eaton, 18, Jack Page Road, Sonora, booked on suspicion of possessing marijuana for sale, possessing concentrated cannabis, sale of marijuana, possessing drug paraphernalia and possessing a controlled substance. He was arrested following a traffic stop on Stockton Road. An officer found marijuana in his vehicle, police said. He remained in Tuolumne County Jail this morning in lieu of $15,000 bail.

SUNDAY

2:53 a.m., Tuolumne — Annette Marie Archer, 37, 500 block of Beard Avenue, Modesto, booked on charges of possessing methamphetamine and marijuana after arrest at Carter Street and Cemetery Lane in Tuolumne. A charge of bringing drugs into the county jail was added after marijuana was found on her during the booking process. She remained in Tuolumne County Jail this morning in lieu of $10,000 bail.

3:20 a.m., Sonora — Tiffany Lee Shepherd, 24, 600 block of Stewart Street, booked on suspicion of passing a worthless check after arrest at Stewart Street and Restano Way. She has been released in lieu of $10,000 bail.

4:03 p.m., Columbia — Charles Lewis Brimage, 800 block of Melones Dam Road, arrested on Parrotts Ferry Road on a Tuolumne County warrant charging him with felony possession of a controlled substance, misdemeanor possession of a hypodermic needle and driving on a suspended license. Further information was not available today. He remained in Tuolumne County Jail this morning, held in lieu of $10,000 bail.

7:14 p.m., Sonora — John Paul Frank Schowackert, 19, no address given, Sonora, arrested following a traffic stop on Sanguinetti Road at Greenley Road on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance, possessing a controlled substance for sale and misdemeanor possession of a switchblade. He remained in Tuolumne County Jail this morning in lieu of $15,000 bail.

7:24 p.m., Sonora — Christopher Doug Leeper, 34, no address given, arrested following a traffic stop on Sanguinetti Road at Greenley Road on suspicion of drug possession. He remained in Tuolumne County Jail this morning in lieu of $10,000 bail.

7:28 p.m. Sonora area — Bobbie Jean Goin-Barlow, 27, 12800 block of Chukar Circle, arrested following a traffic stop on Sanguinetti Road at Greenley Road on suspicion of drug possession. She remained in Tuolumne County Jail this morning in lieu of $10,000 bail.

SUNDAY

11:01 a.m., animal complaint — A caller said a small border collie was chasing pedestrians and cars on East Jackson Street.

3:06 p.m., warrant arrest — Police arrested a 38-year-old woman on a Tuolumne County misdemeanor warrant.

CALAVERAS COUNTY

Sheriff's reports

SUNDAY

9:28 a.m., Rail Road Flat — Money was stolen from an unlocked car outside of the Calaveras Pines bar, and someone tried to break into the bar.

3:56 p.m., San Andreas — A woman on the 500 block of Angels Road said there were two BB gun holes in her window.

4:11 p.m., Valley Springs — A caller on the 8000 block of Sparrock said his or her house was broken into.

6:06 p.m., Valley Springs — A caller reported a possible burglary at a mini-mart. A deputy arrived and found out the alleged burglar was the store manager hiding behind the counter "so he could close the store in peace," the sheriff's report said.

Marco Rodriguez, 22, of Angels Camp, booked at 2:09 a.m. Sunday after arrest on Highway 4 west or Rolleri Bypass Road in Angels Camp.
