Sheriff's reports

THURSDAY

6:25 a.m., Sonora Meadows — A caller reported $40 was stolen from a vehicle parked on the 16000 block of Creekside Drive.

8:09 a.m., Jamestown — A woman reported her big-rig truck was struck by paint balls while parked on the 10300 block of Preston Lane.

8:34 a.m., East Sonora — The owner of Sonora Rentals and Sales on the 13800 block of Mono Way said rented equipment has not been returned and reported the items stolen.

8:49 a.m., Standard — The superintendent at Curtis Creek School asked for a deputy to talk to a student in the office who might be under the influence of something.

9:28 a.m., East Sonora — Some $480 in cash was reported stolen from Subway on the 13700 block of Mono Way.

9:41 a.m., Soulsbyville — A Soulsbyville School administrator said a cellular telephone was stolen and two students were being detained until a deputy could arrive to question them.

9:50 a.m., Phoenix Lake — A man on the 15500 block of Del Parque Court said his vehicle was egged.

10:40 a.m., Phoenix Lake area — Jewelry valued at $3,000 was reported stolen from a house on the 14200 block of Alder Lane.

2:13 p.m., Tuolumne — A 57-year-old man was booked on suspicion of misdemeanor battery and damaging a house after an arrest on the 21100 block of Fish Hatchery Road. Two men were arguing over a lock on a gate at that location.

2:43 p.m., Soulsbyville — A woman on the 19000 block of Carne Richard Road said $2,110 in money, jewelry and other items were stolen from her house.

4:31 p.m., Lambert Lake area — A woman reported she was chased by a man earlier in the day on Lambert Lake Road.

5:52 p.m., Tuolumne — A Black Oak Casino security officer detained a man in the restroom at the casino after the officer saw him drop what appeared to be a small vial containing methamphetamine.

8:50 p.m., Groveland — A woman on the 20800 block of McKinley Way reported hearing noises outside then found footprints in the snow on her deck.

10:19 p.m., East Sonora — A man said items were reported stolen from his unlocked truck while it was parked at a fast-food restaurant on the 13700 block of Mono Way.

12:50 p.m., Sonora — Amber Del Garduno, 31, 300 block of Barretta Street, Sonora turned herself in on a warrant charging her with embezzlement. She was released after posting $10,000 bail.

Erin Melissa McCormick, 32, 8400 block of Old Melones Dam Road, Jamestown, booked at Shell Road west of Rawhide Road, Jamestown.

Kris Matthew Lamb, 24, 18400 block of Tuolumne Road, Tuolumne, booked at 10:26 p.m. after arrest on Tuolumne Road at Black Oak, Tuolumne.

Mark Anthony Glover, 38, 18500 block of Wawona Drive, Groveland, booked at 1:05 a.m. today after arrest on Merrill Road at Highway 120.

WEDNESDAY

1:14 a.m., suspicious circumstances — An officer checked an open door on a mobile tool shed on Highlands View Drive.

2:29 a.m., public intoxication — A 24-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication on the 100 block of South Washington Street.

10:58 a.m., traffic accident — A non-injury hit-and-run crash was reported in front of the Sonora Dome on Barretta Street. It occurred earlier in the morning.

12:04 p.m., public peace — A customer was upset over a transaction at a business on the 300 block of South Washington Street.

8:01 a.m., White Pine — A vehicle parked at Hazel Fischer School on the 1600 block of Blagen Road, was reported vandalized.

10:38 a.m., Murphys — A caller on the 700 block of Buckthorn Drive said items were reported stolen.

3:46 p.m., San Andreas — A caller reported 12 boulders blocking Highways 12 and 49.

10:23 p.m., Valley Springs — A caller said three men were walking through yards on Chestnut Street.

WEDNESDAY

8 a.m., Valley Springs — Antoinette Lessiue Sturgill, 37, 100 block of Myrtle Street, Valley Springs, booked on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance after she turned herself in on a warrant. She remained in custody this morning in lieu of $10,000 bail.

10:33 a.m., Valley Springs — A 42-year-old Valley Springs man was booked on suspicion of felony spousal battery after arrest at his home. He remained in custody this morning in lieu of $50,000 bail.

Paulette Jean Schmitt, 57, 20700 block of Highway 26, West Point, booked at 8:30 p.m. Thursday after arrest on Highway 26 at Railroad Flat Road, Rail Road Flat.
