TUOLUMNE COUNTY

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

FRIDAY

8:10 a.m., East Sonora — Someone pretending to be from Microsoft put programs on the computer of a man who lives on the 18300 block of Wards Ferry Road without his authorization.

9:38 a.m., Jamestown — Someone cut a fence on Golden Oaks Drive, near Private Drive, causing cattle to wander off the property.

10:05 a.m., Twain Harte — County road workers said an older man threatened them on the 22500 block of Golf Club Drive because they were patching holes. The man said he was upset with them wasting taxpayer money patching holes and painting handicap parking spots near Twain Harte Lake. He was also upset the county truck was parked in the middle of the road, saying he went around the truck and hit a tree limb, denting his own truck.

11:01 a.m., Tuolumne — A man said his son was assaulted Friday on the 17500 block of Tuolumne Road.

11:52 a.m., Soulsbyville — The home of a deceased person on the 17200 block of Timber Drive appeared to have been burglarized.

4:25 p.m., Tuolumne — A man attempted to use someone else’s credit card at a cafe on the 19400 block of Tuolumne Road North.

4:49 p.m., Jamestown — A man was arrested on public intoxication and indecent exposure charges after someone said he urinated in full view of the public on the 18200 block of Main Street.

5:21 p.m., East Sonora — A 54-year-old woman on the 13700 block of Mono Way needed an ambulance because of frostbite on her feet.

5:58 p.m., Tuolumne area — A couple returned to their home on the 16600 block of Tuolumne Road to find the door kicked in and four handguns, jewelry, a Bowtech bow and several other items had been stolen.

9:39 p.m., Standard area — Thirty to 40 people were reportedly fighting on the 19700 block of Serrano Road. Deputies found numerous juveniles and young adults at a party. They were instructed to leave with sober drivers. One vehicle rolled backward and hit another one, but both drivers agreed there was no visible damage and didn’t want anything done.

9:41 p.m., Standard area — A man who went to pick up his daughter at the party on Serrano Road said there was a huge fight and a gun was pointed to his friend’s chest. The gun was shot into the air. He saw a lot of people fighting, at least one person was jumped, and vehicles leaving were causing accidents.

11:27 p.m., Standard area — A teenage boy was in the emergency department at Sonora Regional Medical Center, reportedly because he was hit in the back of the head with a bottle at the party on the 19700 block of Serrano Road. He had been drinking.

SATURDAY

3:26 a.m., Jamestown — Ten to 12 males were physically fighting on the 11100 block of Circle Drive.

11:14 a.m., Sonora area — A man was at Indian Rock Prompt Care receiving treatment for an assault he said occurred around 1 a.m. at a bar on the 14500 block of Tuolumne Road.

11:38 a.m., Sonora area — A car was egged on the 22500 block of Wildcat Ridge Road.

11:49 a.m., Sonora area — A barbed wire fence to a 40-acre property on the 20400 block of Lyons Bald Mountain Road was cut. 

2:29 p.m., Sonora area — A person received three calls from someone claiming to be with Microsoft. The caller asked personal and offensive questions and used profane language.

8:42 p.m., Sonora area — A possible drug deal was reported on Fir Drive and Mountain View Road. 

SUNDAY

1:53 a.m., Twain Harte — A physical fight involving possibly eight people was reported at a bar on the 23000 block of Joaquin Gully Road. The patrons left and the bar declined to press charges.

9:58 a.m., Sonora area — Items were stolen from a home in foreclosure on the 19900 block of Corte Primero.

2:11 p.m., Jamestown — A car was burglarized on Reservoir Road and Fifth Avenue. 

6:26 p.m., Jamestown — A man entered a business on the 18200 block of Main Street and asked an employee to hide him from the cops. He left the store and officers were unable to locate him.

6:30 p.m., Sonora area — A man dropped his truck off on the 19900 block of El Ray Lane to get work done and had issues with work not being completed. He got his truck back but said approximately $2,000 in custom parts was missing. 

8:45 p.m., Columbia — An intoxicated man was yelling at a vehicle and snuck up on a person in the dark on the 22200 block of Parrotts Ferry Road.

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

FRIDAY

2:30 p.m, traffic accident — The rear bumper of a transit bus scratched a car on South Stewart Street.

2:52 p.m., controlled substances — What an onlooker thought was about six high school aged boys using illegal drugs in Courthouse Park on North Washington Street turned out to be one boy with a large bag of tobacco.

3:16 p.m., fraudulent activities — Someone cashed a stolen check that was written to a woman in the amount of $2,500.

SUNDAY

12:42 a.m., fight — A bartender reported a physical fight involving about 10 people at a bar on the 100 block of South Washington Street. A victim was located and did not need medical attention. 

12:50 a.m., fight — A person involved in the previous fight went to a bar on the 90 block of South Washington Street and punched a patron. Officers were unable to locate the person.

12:38 p.m., fight — A physical fight between a man and woman was reported at the  Post Office on South Washington Street.

2 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A woman attempted to purchase an item with a possible stolen credit card at a business on the 60 block of South Washington Street.

2:30 p.m,, public intoxication — A 63-year-old man was booked on suspicion of public intoxication on Theall Street.

6:24 p.m., theft — A 6-foot-tall inflatable Eiffel Tower was stolen from a yard on Summit Avenue. Felony bookings

FRIDAY

11:41 a.m., Sonora area — Christopher Wayne Brewer, 24, of the 500 block of Highway 49, was booked on suspicion of possession of drugs for sale and transporting or selling drugs after an arrest at Sawmill Flat and Big Hill roads. He was also booked on suspicion of a misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.

11:41 a.m., Sonora area — Briauna Jene Hoffman, 21, a transient, was booked on suspicion of possession of drugs for sale after an arrest at Sawmill Flat and Big Hill roads.

11:41 a.m., Sonora area — Sara Elisabeth Hoffman, 38, of the 26100 block of Big Hill Road, was booked on suspicion of possession of drugs for sale after an arrest at Sawmill Flat and Big Hill roads.

SUNDAY

9:48 a.m., Sonora area — Domenic Myles Anderson, 32, of the 20200 block of Sparrow Lane, was booked on suspicion of inflicting corporal injury on a spouse or cohabitant after an arrest at his home. 

11:05 p.m., Sonora area — Jesus Ocanas Jr., 28, of the 21600 block of Wasatch Mountain Road, was booked on suspicion of willful infliction of corporal injury after an arrest at his home.

10:33 p.m., Sonora area — Creg Douglas Boley, 22, of the 16600 block of Granite Ridge Lane, was booked after an arrest on Fallview Drive at Phoenix Lake Road.

8:01 p.m., Sonora area — Jeri Renee Lawler, 54, of the 20300 block of Canyon View Drive, was booked after an arrest on Highway 49 at Rawhide Road.

SUNDAY

2:44 p.m., Sonora area  — Jeff Wayne Keeney Jr., 22, of the 18800 block of Pine Street, Tuolumne, as booked after an arrest on Garner Avenue.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

THURSDAY

10:27 a.m., San Andreas — Someone lost money after falling for a scam.

11:09 a.m., Avery — Possible theft was reported at Avery Middle School on Moran Road.

3:05 p.m., West Point — A home on Sawyer Lane was broken into.

3:23 p.m., San Andreas — A Pope Street home’s locks were cut.

6:45 p.m., Valley Springs — A person was soliciting magazines on Daphne Street and kept trying to enter a home.

2:44 p.m., Douglas Flat — A possible intoxicated driver was reported on Highway 4.

10:33 p.m., Wilseyville — Battery was reported on Moore Road.

 THURSDAY

12:20 p.m., Valley Springs — Blake Jordan Beilstein, 21, of the 5900 block of Gettysburg Place, Stockton, was booked on suspicion of possession of narcotics, theft from a credit card holder exceeding $400 and identity theft after an arrest on Highway 26. 

FRIDAY

2:39 p.m., Valley Springs — Damande Romel Carter, 22, of the 2600 block of West Highway 12, Burson, was booked on suspicion of possession of narcotics and other drugs after an arrest on Danaher Drive and Silver Rapids Road. He was also booked on suspicion of misdemeanor charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, driving with a suspended license and giving false identification to a police officer.

SATURDAY

12:21 a.m., Copperopolis — John Edward Ramirez, 53, of the 4600 block of Bay View Drive, was booked on suspicion of threatening crime with the intent to terrorize after an arrest at his home. He was also booked on suspicion of a misdemeanor charge of battery of a non-cohabiting spouse.

SUNDAY

5:12 a.m., Valley Springs — Elyse Nichole Hammond, 21, of the 1400 block of Champagne Court, Lodi, was booked on suspicion of inflicting corporal injury on a person after an arrest on the 2800 block of Oak Court. She was also booked on suspicion of a misdemeanor charge of drunk and disorderly conduct.

5:12 a.m., Valley Springs — Jason Michael Nowak, 14, of the 1400 block of Champagne Court, Lodi, was booked on suspicion of inflicting corporal injury on a person after an arrest on the 2800 block of Oak Court. He was also booked on suspicion of a misdemeanor charge of drunk and disorderly conduct.

FRIDAY

11:30 p.m., San Andreas — Todd Windas Thompson, 48, of the 600 block of French Gulch Road, Murphys, was booked after an arrest on the 800 block of Mountain Ranch Road. He was also booked on suspicion of a misdemeanor charge of a hit-and-run with property damage.

SATURDAY 

10:15 p.m., Valley Springs — Viktor Maslyanka, 27, of the 900 block of Broadway, Jackson, was booked after an arrest on Highway 49.
