TUOLUMNE COUNTY

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

FRIDAY

10:28 a.m., Twain Harte — A vehicle was stolen from a residence on the 21800 block of Confidence Road overnight.

12:59 p.m., Columbia — Fraudulent withdrawals were made from a woman’s checking account and three credit cards were opened using her information.

3:51 p.m., Tuolumne — People have been stealing electricity from a residence on the 18400 block of Tuolumne Road, and using the barbecue. 

4:25 p.m., Twain Harte — A residence on the 23700 block of Kit Carson Drive was burglarized.

4:40 p.m., Twain Harte — A vehicle was vandalized while parked on Middle Camp Sugarpine Road.

4:49 p.m., Jamestown — A hot tub was stolen from a residence on the 12200 block of Wahine Drive. 

8:43 p.m., Sonora area — A woman ran out of a business on the 13700 block of Mono Way without paying for four pairs of shoes.

SATURDAY

4:20 a.m., Twain Harte — A man was arrested on public intoxication charges after he banged on a person’s door on the 23600 block of Middle Camp Road and vomited off the deck. 

9:09 a.m., Tuolumne — A package was delivered to a residence on the 18600 block of Carter Street, but the resident never received it. 

4:54 p.m., Sonora area — Tools were stolen from a residence on the 15200 block of McKamey Court.

SUNDAY

2:25 a.m., Sonora area — A counterfeit $10 bill was found in the cash register at a business on the 13700 block of Mono Way.

9:33 a.m., Columbia — A safe was stolen from a business on the 22700 block of Broadway Street.

10:35 a.m., Sonora area — A residence on the 24200 block of Oxbow Lane was burglarized sometime after Wednesday.

11:34 a.m., Sonora area — A bike and chainsaw were stolen from a residence on the 22000 block of Phoenix Lake Road.

12:15 p.m., Sonora area — Change from the cash register, an iPad and charger, and a revolver were stolen from a business on the 13800 block of Mono Way.

4:36 p.m., Tuolumne — Four intoxicated men were fighting near Tuolumne Road and Pine Street.

8:54 p.m., Twain Harte — A vehicle on the 23000 block of Fuller Road was vandalized.

11:43 p.m., Sonora area — A business on the 13700 block of Mono Way reported that a customer appeared to be driving under the influence.

MONDAY

4:40 a.m., Tuolumne — A woman appeared to be injecting herself with drugs in a parking garage on Tuolumne Road. 

Felony bookings

SATURDAY

1:48 a.m., Sonora area — Jeremy Michael Gardner, 29, of the 2200 block of Zarzamora Street, La Grange, was booked on suspicion of possession of drugs after an arrest on the 200 block of Lyons Street. He was also booked on suspicion of a misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.

6:10 p.m., Sonora area — Chris Jarod Stockton, 40, of the 100 block of Broadway, Jackson, was booked on suspicion of possession of marijuana and selling or transporting marijuana after an arrest at Standard Road and Mono Way. He was also booked on suspicion of misdemeanor charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and receiving known stolen property totaling $400 or less. 

6:33 p.m., Sonora area — Sarah Ann Spring, 38, of the 700 block of Main Street, Jackson, was booked on suspicion of possession of marijuana and selling or transporting marijuana, after an arrest at Standard Road and Mono Way. She was also booked on suspicion of misdemeanor charges of driving with a suspended license and possession of drug paraphernalia, and an infraction of not having vehicle registration.

6:42 p.m., Sonora area — Roger Wyatt Adams, 29, of the 2000 block of Vernado Drive, Arnold, was booked on suspicion of possession of marijuana and selling or transporting marijuana. He was also booked on suspicion of a misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.

9:28 p.m., Sonora area — Anthony Edward Mittry, 59, of the 20000 block of Lori Lane, was booked on suspicion of possession of narcotics after an arrest on Highway 108 and Hess Avenue. He was also booked on suspicion of a misdemeanor charge of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

SUNDAY

6:48 p.m., Sonora area — Kevin Michael Boehmer, 26, of Highway 108 in Jamestown, was booked on suspicion of willful cruelty to a child after an arrest in Sonora.

FRIDAY

12:08 a.m., Jamestown — Joshua Lee Abbott, 22, of the 200 block of Arbona Circle, Sonora, was booked after an arrest on Highway 49 at Mill Villa Road.

SUNDAY

2:10 a.m., Sonora area — Stephen Joseph Dunne, 55, of the 9000 block of Victor Way, Elk Grove, was booked after an arrest at Mono Way and Elsey Court.

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

FRIDAY

10:41 a.m., vehicle theft — A man’s vehicle was reported stolen from his driveway on Oakside Drive.

10:42 a.m., traffic accident — A hit-and-run was reported in a parking lot on North Washington Street.

12:51 p.m., theft — Employees of a business on the 10 block of Pesce Way contacted a juvenile who attempted to steal a hamburger. The business chose not to file a report. 

1:14 p.m., school assist — Marijuana was confiscated from students at Sonora High School. They reportedly will be suspended.

2:49 p.m., reckless driving — A vehicle with a handicapped license plate that was driving on Snell Street appeared to have an intoxicated driver. 

7:14 p.m., reckless driving — A vehicle was swerving on South Washington Street.

SATURDAY

2:34 a.m., driving under the influence — A business on the 13700 block of Mono Way reported that five customers arrived in a vehicle and were intoxicated.

2:36 p.m., theft — A man was seen siphoning gas in a parking lot on the 130 block of Columbia Way.

3:36 p.m., assault — A woman who was reportedly assaulted downtown Friday night was contacted by police at Sonora Regional Medical Center on Saturday. She was “uncooperative” and requested nothing further.

4:53 p.m., controlled substance — A possible drug deal was reported behind a business on the 700 block of Mono Way. The suspects were then seen smoking marijuana nearby.

5:04 p.m., animal complaint — A person was cited at Greenley Road and Guzzi Lane for not having a dog license and for possession of marijuana.

6:18 p.m., prowler — A man was seen jumping the fence of a residence on Columbia Way.

7:31 p.m., disorderly conduct — A man attempted to assault a person during an argument on North Washington Street.

7:45 p.m., driving under the influence — A vehicle was driving erratically on Mono Way near Standard Road. 

10:33 p.m., public intoxication — A 41-year-old woman was booked on suspicion of public intoxication and possession of drugs.

SUNDAY

3:59 p.m., unclassified — A man was lying in the middle of South Norlin Street, bleeding and unconscious. He was transported to Sonora Regional Medical Center.

7:20 p.m., public intoxication — A 38-year-old woman was booked on suspicion of public intoxication after an arrest on South Washington Street. 

CALAVERAS COUNTY

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

FRIDAY

8:17 a.m., Murphys — A trailer was burglarized on San Domingo Road.

10:01 a.m., Copperopolis — A theft was reported on Stagecoach Road.

10:16 a.m., Wallace — A residential burglary was reported on South Camanche Parkway.

11:11 a.m., Valley Springs — A credit card was fraudulently charged.

4:27 p.m., Hathaway Pines — A gas can was stolen from the Stanislaus National Forest office on Highway 4. 

SATURDAY

9:05 a.m., Murphys — A person’s mail was strewn across the roadway on Wyldewood Drive.

9:56 a.m., Arnold — Equipment was taken from a property on Patricia Lane.

1:08 p.m., Murphys — Someone has been trespassing on a property on Rocky Hill Road and damaging it. 

4:22 p.m., Arnold — A woman said her grape masher was taken and claimed it was in her neighbor’s yard. 

11:05 p.m., San Andreas — A public intoxication arrest was made on the 60 block of East St. Charles Street.

SUNDAY

10 a.m., Valley Springs — T-shirts were stolen from a business on California Street.

3:11 p.m., Valley Springs — A theft was reported on California Street.

3:50 p.m., Avery — A man was breaking windows on the 4400 block of Moran Road.

10:30 p.m., Arnold — James Daniel West, an Angels Camp transient, was booked on suspicion of possession of marijuana, after an arrest at Old Highway 4 and Vallecito Road. 

SUNDAY

4:06 p.m., Avery — David William Michaelson, 45, of the 4400 block of Moran Road, was booked on suspicion of assault with a firearm, threatening crime with the intent to terrorize and negligent discharge of a firearm, after an arrest at his home. He was also booked on suspicion of a misdemeanor charge of violation of probation.

FRIDAY

2:50 a.m., Murphys — Alexandria Jayne Fletcher, 22, of the 1700 block of Depot Road, Altaville, was booked after an arrest on Jones Street, east of Cemetery Lane. She was also booked on suspicion of a misdemeanor charge of possession of marijuana while driving.

SATURDAY

2:12 a.m., Murphys — Crystal Faye Bridges, 29, of the 1100 block of Love Creek Road, Avery, was booked after an arrest on Highway 4 at Apple Blossom Road.

6:23 p.m., Farmington — Joey Edward Laivo, 29, of the 2800 block of Hoffman Drive, Valley Springs, was booked after an arrest at Milton and Rock Creek roads. 

6:32 p.m., Copperopolis — Stephen Matthew Ulatowski, 49, of the 5000 block of Little John Road was booked after an arrest at Feather Drive and Morado Circle. 

SUNDAY

12:49 a.m., Murphys — Louie Ambrose Baca, 57, of the 800 block of Sugar Brush Lane, was booked after an arrest on Highway 4 and Williams Street. 

9:30 p.m., Rancho Calaveras — Cody Lee Ponder, 21, of the 200 block of Rose Street, Valley Springs, was booked after an arrest on Hart Vickson Lane and Silver Rapids Road.
