TUOLUMNE COUNTY

    The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

THURSDAY
    10:50 a.m., Willow Springs — A man on Willow Springs Drive said his ATM card was fraudulently used in Florida.
    11:34 a.m., Twain Harte — A man said another man pushed him on the 23100 block of South Fork Road.
    1:22 p.m., Tuolumne — A gas can and chainsaw were stolen from a home on the 18700 block of Cherokee Road over the Thanksgiving weekend.
    4:03 p.m., Columbia — A man said a backpack was stolen from his vehicle on the 11600 block of Columbia College Drive. The pack contained books, culinary knives, prescription medication and clothing.
    9:45 p.m., Willow Springs — A man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication after he was found sleeping in the Soulsbyville Post Office on Willow Springs Drive.
    10 p.m., Twain Harte — A woman said another woman hit her with a flashlight on the 22700 block of Black Hawk Drive.

THURSDAY
    2:30 p.m., Groveland  — Julie Lynn Burris, 49, unknown address, was booked on suspicion of car theft, after an arrest on Highway 120 west of Priest Coulterville Road.
  9:19 p.m., Sonora area — Christopher James Vernon, 42, of the 18300 block of Wards Ferry Road, was booked on suspicion of kidnapping and assault, after an arrest at his home.

 Arrests
    Cited on suspicion of driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs:

 THURSDAY
    12:23 a.m., Tuolumne — Jimmie Alexander Hensley, 30, of the 4400 block of South Washington Street, Sonora, was arrested on North Cherry Valley Boulevard at Bay Street.

  The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

THURSDAY
    2:33 p.m., controlled substances — A 17-year-old Sonora High School student was cited and released to her parent on suspicion of possessing Rice Krispie treats laced with marijuana at the school.
  2:55 p.m., suspicious circumstances — Someone said that a man fell out of his wheelchair across the street from a restaurant on Mono Way. Dispatch called the restaurant because all SPD, Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office and California Highway Patrol units were busy on other calls. The restaurant reported that people helped the man back into his chair.
  7 p.m., burglary — A woman said she left her residence on North Highway 49 about 2 p.m. and realized someone had broken into her home and taken more than $400 she kept in a jar, washed her dishes and folded her blankets.
  8:42 p.m., vandalism — Someone broke the window on a vehicle parked on the 100 block of North Washington Street.


CALAVERAS COUNTY

  The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

THURSDAY
    11:38 a.m., Douglas Flat — A theft occurred on Main Street.
  11:52 a.m., Jenny Lind — A theft occurred on School Street.
  2:42 p.m., Valley Springs — A battery occurred on Driver Road.
  4:27 p.m., Glencoe — A burglary and vandalism occurred on Highway 26.

 FRIDAY
    7:05 a.m., West Point — A battery occurred near the intersection of Bummerville and Winton roads.

THURSDAY
    1:40 p.m., Valley Springs  — Carol Loskutoff McCullough, 50, of the 5100 block of Treosti Place, was booked on suspicion of first-degree burglary, after an arrest at her home.
  9:30 p.m., Mokelumne Hill — Natalie Anne Jones, 28, of an unknown address in West Point, was booked on suspicion of drug possession, after an arrest near the intersection of Ridge and Cedar Hill roads.
