CALAVERAS COUNTY

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

FRIDAY

5:15 a.m., Jenny Lind — Three people were reportedly doing donuts in a parking lot on Main Street.

6:17 a.m., Valley Springs — Someone on Gold King Drive reported a vehicle break-in and theft of a jacket and tools.

7:29 a.m., Valley Springs — A possible theft of wood and copper was reported on Hartvickson Lane.

9:36 a.m., Valley Springs — A fight and vandalism were reported on Denim Court.

11:19 a.m., San Andreas — A theft of about 30 sets of deer antlers was reported from an Angels Road business.

12:08 p.m., San Andreas — An unhappy customer reportedly told employees at a government office that he would burn down the building.

3:53 p.m., Valley Springs — Someone reported a dog was stolen at a fishing access site on Hogan Dam Road.

8:28 p.m., Douglas Flat — A woman was reportedly trying to break into a Main Street house while intoxicated.

8:53 p.m., Jenny Lind — A fire was reported in the area of Chenin Blanc Avenue and Warren Road.

SATURDAY

7:19 a.m., Valley Springs — Someone reported a possible fight at Treosti Place and Bergsma Lane, telling dispatchers a man and a woman were yelling. Upon contacting the couple, a deputy learned the incident involved them yelling at a coyote attacking their dog.

9:17 a.m., Copperopolis — A break-in and theft of wiring was reported on O’Byrnes Ferry Road.

1:08 p.m., San Andreas — A woman was hitting a man at Court and West Saint Charles streets.

5:30 p.m., San Andreas — An altercation between two adults was reported during a sporting event at Calaveras High School.

8:35 p.m., Valley Springs — An intoxicated man was yelling at passing vehicles in the road. 

SUNDAY

2:03 a.m., Murphys — A fight was reported at a Big Trees Road bar.

9:32 a.m., Wilseyville — A suspicious vehicle was parked one mile from a bridge on North Railroad Flat Road.

11:52 a.m., Valley Springs — Someone pulled equipment out of the ground in front of a residence on Meadowood Drive and possibly stole wire.

12:19 p.m., Campo Seco — A man on Campo Seco Road said someone stole his dog. He knew who had it, but the suspect refused to give it back.

12:57 p.m., Mountain Ranch — A sliding glass door was shattered at a residence on Wendell Road and the homeowner thought it was possibly shot out due to recent shooting activity at Salamander Creek.

1:05 p.m., Copperopolis — A suspicious green Jeep was parked on Feather Court.

3:19 p.m., Mokelumne Hill — Someone on West Center Street could hear gunfire and it sounded close to town.

6:32 p.m., Burson — Two men were separated after getting into a fight on Wade Lane.

FRIDAY

6:30 p.m., Angels Camp — Jacqueline Marie Cosma, 50, of the 900 block of Tuolumne Avenue, was booked on suspicion of drug possession, after an arrest at her home.

SATURDAY

2:27 a.m., Angels Camp — John David McBride, 44, of the 100 block of South Main Street, was booked on suspicion of resisting or obstructing an officer, after an arrest at North Main Street and Dogtown Road.

1:51 p.m., San Andreas — Julie Marie Guadagnolo, 32, of the 17500 block of Shine Way, Mountain Ranch, was booked on suspicion of assault, after an arrest on Court Street west of Saint Charles Street.

SUNDAY

12:28 a.m., Arnold — Jolene Marie Humes, 36, of the 3300 block of Muriettas Roost, Camp Connell, was booked on suspicion of drug possession and committing a felony while out on bail, after an arrest on the 500 block of Dean Court.

11:27 p.m., San Andreas — Steven Michael Duvall, 44, of the 900 block of Ridge Road, Rail Road Flat, was booked on suspicion of assault, after an arrest on the 700 block of Mountain Ranch Road.

FRIDAY

1:02 a.m., Angels Camp — Kathryn Rigdon Deck, 56, of the 300 block of South Main Street, was arrested at Demarest and South Main streets.

SATURDAY

1:14 a.m., Angels Camp — Timothy Robert Mathews, 29, of the 24400 block of Wild Horse Lane, Sonora, was arrested at South Main Street and Stockton Road.

SUNDAY

12:45 a.m., Valley Springs — Mason James Kelling Costa, 19, of the 100 block of Manuel Court, was arrested at Highway 26 and Burson Road.

10 p.m., Angels Camp — William Neuman, 53, of the 300 block of Lloyd Street, Livermore, was arrested on the 100 block of North Main Street.

TUOLUMNE COUNTY

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

FRIDAY

8:13 a.m., vandalism — A vehicle was vandalized on Cowan Street.

12:38 p.m., traffic accident — A car and a van were involved in a collision on Mono Way.

2:21 p.m., theft — Surveying equipment was stolen on West Stockton Street.

2:44 p.m., traffic accident — A hit and run occurred on South Stewart Street.

4 p.m., traffic accident — A collision occurred in a Sanguinetti Road parking lot.

8:09 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A woman told police that a man followed her a couple of times and also took photos of her and her daughter inside a Sanguinetti Road business.

11:24 p.m., alarm and fight — A fight in front of a South Washington Street business reportedly resulted in a broken window that tripped the burglary alarm.

SATURDAY

9:19 a.m., disorderly conduct — A man and woman were yelling at each other in the lobby of a West Stockton Street business.

12:48 p.m., traffic accident — A two-car collision occurred on Hospital Road.

2:02 p.m., theft — A bike was taken from a property on South Shepherd Street.

2:30 p.m., burglary — A Shaws Flat Road resident reported a burglary.

6:58 p.m., traffic accident — A two-car accident occurred in a Mono Way parking lot.

SUNDAY

10:04 a.m., theft — Someone was late-reporting the theft of items from a vehicle Dec. 10 on Cowan Street.

4:32 p.m., animal complaints — A dog was found in a parking lot on Sanguinetti Road and returned to its owner.

4:42 p.m., public intoxication — A 31-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication after he was found passed out on the patio of a business on Old Wards Ferry Road.

5:23 p.m., vandalism, property damage — Someone stuck nails in a vehicle’s tires at apartments on Columbia Way.

11:17 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A suspicious vehicle was parked on Morning Star Drive near Cassina High. The vehicle was gone when an officer arrived on scene.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

FRIDAY

8:01 a.m., Jamestown — A barbecue grill was stolen from a mobile home park on the 10700 block of Wigwam Road. The person who allegedly took the grill was located and told deputies he thought the home was abandoned and the items in the premises were free to take. He promised to return the grill.

10:59 a.m., Sonora area — A motor vehicle accident was reported on the 20000 block of Rough and Ready Trail.

1:02 p.m., Sonora area — A woman on the 10000 block of Highway 49 reported that a tenant had been harassing her horses and trying to scare them with tasers.

1:19 p.m., Tuolumne — A man told deputies someone brandished a knife and gun at him over a business deal on the 18700 block of Carter Street.

2:10 p.m., Sonora area — A woman on the 19700 Cedar Road reported fraudulent charges on her credit card.

3:05 p.m., Sonora area — A property owner at Columbia Way and Skyview Drive said that someone trespassed on his property and built a dam to block water in a creek.

3:41 p.m., Tuolumne — A possible fire occurred on 18400 block of Tuolumne Road.

3:52 p.m., Tulloch Lake — A pontoon party boat with a blue tent has been set up in a cove on the lake for the past month.

6:39 p.m., Sonora area — A resident on 22000 block of Crystal Falls Drive reported a possible burglary in which someone stole muffins, cigarettes and medical marijuana.

9:52 p.m., Long Barn — A resident of the 24900 block of Highway 108 called police to report a neighbor was breaking his windows to enter his home and attack him.

SATURDAY

8:32 a.m., Twain Harte — A man arrived at his home on the 23100 block of Hawk Lane North and found his dogs had been let out of their crates. He told a sheriff’s deputy the circumstances seemed suspicious and wanted the incident documented.

8:34 a.m., Sonora area — Someone reported that all of the mailboxes on Tinnin Road, near Wards Ferry Road, had been opened and emptied, as well as mailboxes along Murphy Road and Wards Ferry Road.

10:51 a.m., Tuolumne — A woman on the 20400 block of Misty Lane said someone left a threat on her 17-year-old daughter’s Facebook account Friday night and wanted the documentation of the incident. Summerville High school officials were notified as well.

11:06 a.m., Sonora area — A guest allegedly stole a television from a room at a hotel on the 19500 block of Hess Avenue.

1:17 p.m., Twain Harte — A man said firewood was stolen from his residence on the 22600 block of Bret Harte Drive sometime in the past 10 days and he could see the suspect’s footprints in the snow.

3:23 p.m., Sonora area — A woman said her mailbox and a neighbor’s were both opened on the 20300 block of Jamestown Road.

7:20 p.m., Sonora area — A man said he was assaulted by unknown suspects on the 20200 block of Grouse Way but was not injured. He didn’t want to report anything further at the time.

7:31 p.m., East Sonora — Someone broke out the passenger-side window on a woman’s vehicle parked in a lot on the 13700 block of Mono Way and took her purse.

9:02 p.m., Tuolumne — A house on the 20300 block of Patrick Lane was having a party and allegedly shooting off fireworks.

FRIDAY

2:21 a.m., Sonora — Richie Lynn Naval, 37, and Sylvia Julie Naval, 33, both of the 600 block of Fort Henry, Modesto, were booked on suspicion of possession of a narcotic and a probation violation after an arrest at Washington Street and Restano Way.

9:41 a.m., Sonora — Jake Aksel Raven, 32, of the 16400 block of Frymire Road, Oakdale, was booked on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance for sale, felony firearms possession and probation violation after an arrest at Mono Way and Haystack Road.

2:25 p.m., Jamestown — Phillip Lee Smail Jr., 21, of the first block of Elk Drive, Sonora, was booked on suspicion of possession of a narcotic or controlled substance after an arrest on the 18300 block of Highway 108.

SATURDAY

11:20 a.m., Sierra Village — Tyler Raymond Townsend, 19, of an unknown address in Sierra Village, was booked on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon that is not a firearm after an arrest on the 24900 block of Highway 108.

SUNDAY

8:56 p.m., Jamestown — Cody Douglas Wright, 23, of an unknown block of Reservoir Road, was booked on suspicion of drug possession, after an arrest at Main and Donovan streets.

10 a.m., Sonora — Eric Jeffery Fitch, 30, of the 15700 block of Old Ranch Road, Sonora, was booked after an arrest at Pesce Way and Highway 49.

SUNDAY

1:59 a.m., Sonora — Anthony Carrillo, 62, of the 24000 block of Paipu Street, Mi-Wuk Village, was arrested at Cabezut and Cedar roads.
