TUOLUMNE COUNTY

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

FRIDAY

8:39 a.m., vandalism, property damage — A picnic table bench was broken and handrail was torn down at Prospector Park.

3:39 p.m., public intoxication — A 40-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication and cited for an outstanding misdemeanor warrant out of  Tulare County at Prospector Park.

3:55 p.m., domestic violence — A 51-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery at South Stewart and Linoberg streets.

6:25 p.m., public intoxication — A 35-year-old man was cited on suspicion of public intoxication on South Washington Street. A complaint was forwarded to the District Attorney’s Office for a charge of carrying a concealed dirk or dagger. 

9:31 p.m., public intoxication — A 27-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication at a business on the 900 block of Sanguinetti Road.

SATURDAY

12:59 p.m., Sonora area — A 50-year-old man was cited on suspicion having an open container of alcohol in public and a 56-year-old man was cited on suspicion of possession of marijuana at Prospector Park.

SUNDAY

1:13 a.m., suspicious circumstances — An audible alarm was reported, followed by a suspicious man leaving the area on foot on South Arbona Circle. He was not found by police. 

12:52 p.m., burglary — A residence was reportedly broken into on Steffen Way.

9:08 p.m., theft — Someone said a wallet was stolen at about 11:45 a.m. on the 1100 block of Sanguinetti Road. 

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

FRIDAY

10:50 a.m., Sonora area — A wedding ring and designer purse were stolen from a residence on the 16700 block of Draper Mine Road six months ago.

11:33 a.m., Sonora area — Gas was siphoned from a vehicle on the 18800 block of Microtronics Way.

3:35 p.m., Sonora area — Wine and a medical apparatus were stolen Thursday from a home on the 16100 block of Ridgewood Drive, and someone tampered with the home security system.

8:44 p.m., Groveland — A GPS was stolen from a vehicle that was parked in a garage on the 12800 block of Mount Jefferson Street.

11:40 p.m., Jamestown — Someone was cited on suspicion of battery on the 10700 block of Seventh Street. 

SATURDAY

2:01 p.m., Soulsbyville — A man said his mother intentionally hit his brother with her vehicle at Soulsbyville Road and Willow Springs Drive.

2:44 p.m., Sonora area — A vehicle was burglarized while it was parked on the 13700 block of Mono Way.

3:01 p.m., Sonora area — A man threw a cup at a customer at a business on the 13700 block of Mono Way. He then left the business, slamming the door behind him and breaking it.

8:37 p.m., Twain Harte — A 47-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication and violation of probation at Eproson Park.

SUNDAY

2:44 a.m., Groveland — Gold was taken from a residence on the 10900 block of Yosemite Springs Road.

2:48 a.m., Jamestown — A woman was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication on the 18300 block of Main Street.

8:27 a.m., Chinese Camp — Someone said a man in camouflage clothing with a rifle was walking down Serpentine Loop Road. The caller believes it is government land posted “no hunting,” and the man tried to hide the rifle in front of himself. 

8:46 a.m., Copperopolis area — Someone vandalized a dock, untied boats and stole a 12-pack of beer on the 14400 block of Tulloch Dam Road. The boats were all brought back. 

9:35 a.m., East Sonora — A bicycle and bicycle rack were stolen off a man’s car the night before on the 19500 block of Hess Avenue between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m., he said. 

11:45 a.m., Columbia — A man allegedly threatened employees over unsatisfactory winnings from a lottery scratcher on the 22200 block of Parrotts Ferry Road. 

11:57 a.m., Sonora — A wallet and ATM card were reportedly stolen from an unlocked vehicle on the 20400 block of Bay Meadow Drive. 

12:38 p.m., Tuolumne — A carburetor from a riding lawn mower was reported stolen from the 18600 block of Tuolumne Road. 

4:08 p.m., Columbia — A woman was reportedly being hostile after her blood sugar crashed on the 11000 block of State Street. 

4:45 p.m., East Sonora area — A woman called in concern after seeing the same car on the side of Highway 108 after an elderly man helped a couple whose car broke down the night before. A note on the vehicle said it was broken down and a tow was enroute.

5:56 p.m., Columbia — A woman said her neighbor threw feces and rocks at her dog and threatened to kill it on the 22700 block of ledge Lane. He became irate at her dog because he thought it defecated on his new driveway, she said.

6:03 p.m., Sonora — Someone said a neighbor is taking water from “all the neighbors” because he didn’t pay his bill on the 21600 block of Wasatch Mountain Drive. She has asked him to stop several times, she said. 

7:22 p.m., Strawberry area — Someone appeared either confused or on drugs walking back and forth on the roadway at Pinecrest Lake Road and Highway 108. 

9:20 p.m., Jamestown — Someone said seven youths — three girls and four boys — pulled the fire alarm at Jamestown Elementary School. But Cal Fire received no alarm and the fire alarm looked fine to the investigating officer.

MONDAY

1:03 a.m., Columbia — A man reported thousands of dollars worth of property stolen from his house on the 22500 block of Upper Quail Mine Road. 

1:34 a.m., Jamestown — Someone said a man has banged into the side of their residence and thrown rocks on their roof the last two nights on the 14100 block of Park Avenue.

FRIDAY

12:42 p.m., Sonora area — Michael Eugene Fuentes, 57, of the 18000 block of Madrone Street, Tuolumne, was booked on suspicion of kidnapping after an arrest on the 13700 block of Mono Way.

4:43 p.m., Sonora area — Jeff Franklin Neel, 51, of an unknown address in Ben Lomond, was booked on suspicion of willful infliction of corporal injury and assault with a deadly weapon other than a firearm, likely causing great bodily injury after an arrest at Washington and Snell streets.

SATURDAY

3:37 p.m., Groveland area — Angela Lynn Livingston, 53, of an unknown address in Big Oak Flat, was booked on suspicion of possession of drugs after an arrest on New Priest Grade. She was also booked on a misdemeanor charge of destroying or concealing evidence.

5:19 p.m., Stanislaus National Forest — Merry Ellen Marshall Ackema, 20, of the 1300 block of Crestview Drive, Oceanside, was booked on suspicion of possession of drugs after an arrest on Cottonwood Road at the Clavey River.

SUNDAY

2:16 p.m., Sonora — Michael Brett Bahten, 42, of the 100 block of Leonards Addition Road, was booked on suspicion of cultivating marijuana, violation of probation and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia after an arrest at his home. 

2:16 p.m., Sonora — Melanie Marie White, 36, of the 100 block of Columbia Way, was booked on suspicion of cultivating marijuana, and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia after an arrest on the 100 block of Leonards Addition Road.

11:58 p.m., Sonora area — Wendy Anne Heppner, 32, of the 11300 block of Columbia Village Drive, was booked after an arrest on the 1000 block of Greenley Road.

4:40 p.m., Jamestown — Kris Ann Miller, 35, of the 20100 block of Shannon Drive, Sonora, was booked after an arrest on Main Street at Willow Street.

SATURDAY

10:46 a.m., Jamestown — Timothy Charles Doty, 52, of the 17200 block of Margaret Drive, was booked after an arrest at his home. He was also booked on a misdemeanor charge of hit and run with property damage. 

3:28 p.m., Groveland area — Mark Joseph Nunes, 47, of the 13100 block of Jackson Mill Road, was booked after an arrest on Old Priest Grade.

4:26 p.m., Sonora area — Vanessa Danielle Lyons, 35, of the 14300 block of Edgemont Acres Road, Sonora, was booked after an arrest on Stockton Road and Mill Villa Court.

8:55 p.m., Twain Harte — Caron Frances Cavalero, 51, of the 11700 block of Campo Seco Road, Sonora, was booked after an arrest on Twain Harte Drive at Black Hawk Drive.

SUNDAY

5:09 a.m., Crystal Falls — Vincent Tyler Smith, 18, of the 600 block of Twilight Court, was booked after an arrest on the 22100 block of Crystal Falls Drive.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

FRIDAY

9:30 a.m., West Point — Possible elder abuse and theft was reported on the 300 block of Stanley Road.

5:06 p.m., Angels Camp — Two men were arrested after fighting in a parking lot on the 2100 block of Highway 49 .

11:11 p.m., Milton — Two people were arrested by the California Department of Fish and Wildlife at Hunt and Lanford Pacheco roads. One was arrested on suspicion of carrying a concealed weapon in a vehicle, drug possession and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia and carrying a loaded firearm in a public place

SATURDAY

12:59 a.m., San Andreas — Someone was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication on the 400 block of West Saint Charles Street.

2:28 a.m., Copperopolis — Two men were driving a golf court around a resort on O’Byrnes Ferry Road and messing with a pickup truck on the property. 

9:13 a.m., Angels Camp — People were evicted from the Glory Hole Recreation Area after threatening other campers.

9:14 a.m., Wallace — A man was arrested on a warrant on Ospital Road.

10:46 a.m., Arnold — A property on Lighting Lane was burglarized. Items were taken and the property was vandalized.

12:37 p.m., Arnold — A lock was cut to a property on Patricia Lane and a chainsaw was missing.

4:39 p.m., Arnold — Burglary was reported on Dianna Drive.

5:05 p.m., Vallecito — Someone was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication on Parrotts Ferry Road.

9:51 p.m., Angels Camp — A group of people were firing a potato gun at New Melones Lake Marina and were believed to be intoxicated. Someone was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication.

SUNDAY

12:19 p.m., Farmington area — A report was taken for a battery on the 7400 block of Rock Creek Road. 

2:28 p.m., Arnold — Vandalism was reported at White Pines Park on Blagen Road.

6:29 p.m., San Andreas — Someone reported firearms discharged near Costa Road.

6:47 p.m., Valley Springs — Someone was arrested for suspicion of being under the influence of drugs on the 100 block of Highway 26. 

7:38 p.m., Copperopolis — Vandalism was reported on Feather Court.

12:45 p.m., Valley Springs — Joey Chavez Maldonado, 31, of the 100 block of Cedar Street, was booked on suspicion of three counts of child cruelty leading to possible great injury or death and misdemeanor battery of a spouse or cohabitant after an arrest at his home.

5:45 p.m., Angels Camp — Richard William Lewis, 33, of the 2500 block of Dennis Street, Fortuna, was booked on suspicion of inflicting corporal injury on a spouse or cohabitant and misdemeanor damaging or destroying a wireless device after an arrest on Highway 49. 

6:10 p.m., San Andreas — Grant Edward Shirley, 46, of the 2000 block of Harris Street, Eureka, was booked on suspicion of inflicting corporal injury on a spouse or cohabitant after an arrest at Mark Twain Medical Center. 

11:15 p.m., Valley Springs — Fernando Perez Figueroa, 46, of the 1500 block of Crows Landing Road, Modesto, was booked on suspicion of carrying a concealed weapon in a vehicle, drug possession and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia and carrying a loaded firearm in a public place after an arrest at Hunt Road and Lanford Pacheco Road. 

SATURDAY

9:33 a.m., San Andreas — Phillip Gene Adams, 31, of the 800 block of Pine Street, Sacramento, was booked on suspicion of possession of concentrated cannabis and marijuana for sale after a transfer from the Yolo County Sheriff’s Department. 

7:40 p.m., San Andreas — Robert Allen Williams, 29, of the 800 block of Shoshone Drive, Dorrington, was booked on suspicion of violation of parole after an arrest at the Calaveras County Jail lobby. 

8:32 p.m., Dorrington — Robert Eldon Bennet, 71, of the 2700 block of Indian Rock Road, was booked on suspicion of inflicting corporal injury on a spouse or cohabitant after an arrest at his home. 

5:06 p.m., San Andreas area — Roland Ted Rutherford, of the 17200 block of Jesus Maria Road, Mokelumne Hill, was booked under suspicion of drug possession and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia and driving without a license. 

SUNDAY

11:10 a.m., Copperopolis — Kristopher Grant Richey, 39, of the 700 block of Lake Front Drive, Sacramento, was booked under suspicion of inflicting corporal injury on a spouse or cohabitant after an arrest on the 100 block of Carriage Oak Court. 

7:30 p.m., Angels Camp — Victor Martinez Jr., 44, of the 1000 block of Bret Harte Drive, was booked under suspicion of carrying a concealed dirk or dagger after an arrest at highways 49 and 4.

11:45 p.m., Angels Camp — Ricardo Oviedoalcala, 26, of an unspecified address in Angels Camp, was booked after an arrest at South Main Street and Stanislaus Avenue.
