TUOLUMNE COUNTY

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

FRIDAY

11:05 a.m., East Sonora — A vehicle was broken into overnight on the 20300 block of Eaton Court.

12:33 p.m., East Sonora — A department store on the 13700 block of Mono Way reported having video of a female stealing more than $200 worth of merchandise.

SATURDAY

3:34 a.m., Sonora — The Tuolumne County Library on the 400 block of Greenley Road was burglarized.

10:41 a.m., Tuolumne area —  A battery was taken from a boat on the 19100 block of Beauchamp Drive sometime within the past three months.

10:36 p.m., Confidence — A woman said her purse was taken off the bar at a business on the 23300 block of Highway 108. She knew the suspect’s first name.

SUNDAY

4:01 a.m., Crystal Falls — A man said he stopped at a stop sign on the 21700 block of Crystal Falls Drive and several men walked out of the bushes on the side of the road. One of them asked to use his phone and offered him $500 for a ride to Tuolumne. He said there were several other people hiding in the bushes. The caller requested a patrol check in the area.

10:16 a.m., Sonora area — A man said unknown suspects cut his fencing on the 20300 block of Bald Mountain Road North.

2:12 p.m., Mi-Wuk Village — A man said someone stole a GPS and owner’s manual out of his 2006 Toyota pickup parked in his driveway on the 24000 block of Pine Lake Drive.

7:47 p.m., Columbia — A woman said she found what appeared to be a stolen motorcycle on her property on the 23600 block of Brewster Drive. She said there was no license plate and it appeared to have been hotwired.

FRIDAY

1:24 a.m., Sonora — Kevin Don Kent, 47, of the 3600 block of Bentley Road, Modesto, was booked on suspicion of possessing drugs and a misdemeanor charge of possessing drug paraphernalia, after an arrest on Highway 108 at Mono Way.

1:29 a.m., Sonora — Lisa Michelle Taylor, 36, of the 200 block of South Sixth Avenue, Oakdale, was booked on suspicion of possessing drugs and misdemeanor charges of driving without a license and possessing drug paraphernalia, after an arrest on Highway 108 at Mono Way.

3:35 a.m., Sonora area — Timothy Sosa Townsend, 25, of the 15500 block of Shady Oak Drive, was booked on suspicion of false imprisonment of an elder and a misdemeanor charge of violating a court order, after an arrest at the his home.

11:20 p.m., East Sonora — Tyler Adam Borland, 29, of the 14600 block of Mono Way, was booked on suspicion of assault, after an arrest at his home.

SATURDAY

2:02 p.m., East Sonora — Daniel James Stover, 41, unknown address, was booked on suspicion of a felony probation violation and a misdemeanor charge of assault, after an arrest on the 13700 block of Mono Way.

9:56 p.m., Sonora — Lawrence Charles Rodriguez, 49, of the 100 block of South Green Street, was booked on suspicion of assault, after an arrest at South Stewart and Linoberg streets.

9:53 p.m., Sonora — Agnes Puls, 58, of the 100 block of South Shepherd Street, was arrested on the 100 block of South Green Street.

SUNDAY

12:32 a.m., Sonora area — Michael Christopher Hardin, 24, of the 16600 block of Allison Way, was arrested at his home.

1:25 a.m., East Sonora — Brice Emmett McDonald, 26, of the 5400 block of Claribel Road, Modesto, was arrested on Mono Way and Tuolumne Road.

1:46 a.m., East Sonora — Jack Albert Geigle, 64, of the 16100 block of Morris Road, was arrested at Tuolumne and Standard roads.

2:36 a.m., East Sonora — Jeffrey Alan Szuggar, 51, of the 2100 block of Tully Road, Hughson, was arrested at a business on Mono Way east of Hess Avenue.

4:10 a.m., Jamestown — Danielle Lilly Nohokula-Louis, 50, of the 18000 block of Sierra Avenue, was arrested on Seco Street south of Preston Lane.

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

FRIDAY

7:47 a.m., theft —  Items stolen from a trunk chest at the Gunn House Motel on South Washington Street include two antique dolls, clothing for the dolls and other miscellaneous items.

8 a.m., theft — A man identified a bicycle and Black and Decker inverter the Sonora Police recovered Thursday night and said they were stolen from South Shepherd Street Wednesday.

SATURDAY

12:09 p.m., suspicious circumstances — The owner of a jewelry shop on South Washington Street brought a woman to the police department who identified property that was stolen from her residence in Apple Valley and sold to his shop. She was advised to contact the Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office to request a pawn hold.

8:03 p.m., fight — There was a fight between two men with several others watching at the Heaven for Kids Park on Greenley Road. 

8:47 p.m., public intoxication — A 69-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication at a business on Stockton Road.

SUNDAY

12:20 a.m., public intoxication — A man at Mono Way and Sanguinetti Road was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication.

9:34 p.m., public intoxication — A 50-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication at East Lyons Street and Hope Lane.

CALAVERAS COUNTY

The Sheriff’s Department reported the following:

FRIDAY

8:08 a.m., White Pines — Two life-sized bear statues that were bolted to trees and four trash cans were stolen from White Pines Park on Blagen Road.

8:55 a.m., Burson — A break-in and theft occurred on Burson Road.

12:25 p.m., San Andreas — Vandalism occurred at Calaveras River Academy on Old Oak Road.

SATURDAY

12:30 p.m., Valley Springs — Wire was stolen on Hogan Dam Road.

3:38 p.m., San Andreas — Someone broke a window of a vehicle on Neilsen Street.

8:42 p.m., Valley Springs — Someone broke into an unoccupied residence on Heney Lane.

SUNDAY

11:55 a.m., San Andreas — A vehicle was vandalized and a citation was issued on Sunset Street.

FRIDAY

1:27 a.m., Arnold — Matthew James Willey, 29, of the 2500 block of Silver Drive, was booked on suspicion of possessing drugs, after an arrest at Highway 4 and Country Club Drive.

10:26 a.m., San Andreas — Christian Michael Rogers, 27, of the 500 block of Marshall Street, was booked on suspicion of failing to register as a felony sex offender, after an arrested in the lobby of the Sheriff’s Office on Mountain Ranch Road.

11:53 p.m., Angels Camp — Jacob Roger Schulte, 18, of the 4400 block of Little John Road, Copperopolis, was booked on suspicion of possessing drugs and a misdemeanor charge of driving without a license, after an arrest at Stanislaus and San Joaquin avenues.

SATURDAY

11 p.m., Valley Springs — Matthew Thomas James, 23, of the 100 block of Laurel Street, was booked on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon other than a firearm and vandalism, as well as misdemeanor charges of public intoxication, resisting arrest and misdemeanor probation violation, after an arrest at an unspecified location in Valley Springs.

2:08 a.m., San Andreas — Patrick Seneca Elkins, 33, of the 100 block of Pine Street, Valley Springs, was booked on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon other than a firearm and a misdemeanor charge of public intoxication, after an arrest on Mountain Ranch Road.

8:48 p.m., Angels Camp — John Erasimo Lucido, 56, of the 1100 block of Suzanne Drive, was booked on suspicion of assault, after an arrest on the 1100 block of Suzanne Drive.

11:50 p.m., Angels Camp — Richard Allan Karsten, 57, of the 1200 block of South Main Street, was arrested on Main Street.

4:33 a.m., West Point — Craig Allen Wells, 41, of the 4100 block of Blue Mountain Road, Wilseyville, was arrested on Highway 26 east of Centennial Mine Road.
