The Sonora Police Department reported the following:
12:15 a.m., suspicious circumstances — An officer checked a business with an open back door and ended up setting off the alarm on West Bradford Street.
4:54 a.m., drugs — A man was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia on Greenley Road.
2:18 p.m., assault — A man said his young son was assaulted the day before on the 1100 block of Sanguinetti Road.
The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:
8:03 a.m., unknown location — A woman said her daughter has been missing since Sunday. Her daughter claimed to have met Steven Spielberg at an AA meeting and he was going to give her $150,000 to buy a cabin with a totem pole in front. The daughter was found by Sonora Police Department at Courthouse Square.
8:19 a.m. Soulsbyville — A woman said her daughter stole her checks and money on the 17200 block of Timber Drive.
8:27 a.m., Jamestown — A man said his car appears to have been entered the night before, but nothing was taken on the 10600 block of Jim Brady Road.
8:57 a.m., Sonora area — A woman believes the handyman entered the house at night with a copied key and put meth in her half-consumed beer on the 18300 block of Toyon Way. She finished it in the morning and now she doesn’t feel right.
10:31 a.m., Jamestown — Someone said his or her RV was damaged and a generator was stolen at a campsite on the 14400 block of Tulloch Dam Road.
10:52 a.m., Tuolumne — A bus was shot several times with a pellet gun, breaking windows and denting the body, on the 18400 block of Carter Street.
11:38 a.m., East Sonora — A house was egged and the driveway written on on the 21600 block of Fortuna Mine Road. Extra patrol was requested.
11:59 a.m., Sonora area — A man said his neighbor caused property damage by cutting a bush near a county road. The neighbor said he was clearing the road.
2:03 p.m., Sonora area — A burglary was reported on the 10900 block of Mount Brow Road.
2:25 p.m., Twain Harte — Two global positioning units were stolen from an unlocked vehicle on the 22600 block of Cedar Pines Avenue.
4:19 p.m,, Columbia — A young man at Chukar and Covey circles was talking about hurting himself and said if anyone came near him, he would rush them with a knife.
5:16 p.m., Jamestown — A woman said a man she knows threatened her and cornered her in the bathroom on the 16100 block of Placer Street.
6:05 p.m., Pinecrest — A man with a pot belly was yelling and threatening people as they walked by at Pinecrest Lake.
6:49 p.m., Mi-Wuk Village — Someone said a man who was seen earlier with a syringe is now acting weird and trying all the doorknobs at all the businesses on the 24500 block of Highway 108.
8:54 p.m., Columbia — A woman said someone entered her unlocked apartment on the 11300 block of Columbia Village Drive and left a letter for someone else and dimensions written on a paper towel. Nothing appeared to be missing. She was advised to lock her apartment.
9:02 p.m., Sonora area — Someone reported a man and woman in an argument on the 17200 block of Valley Oak Drive.
11:06 p.m., Soulsbyville — About 10 people were waiting at the Willow Springs Park for a fight, according to an officer. More people showed up and denied there would be a fight and said they were just hanging out. The officer said he didn’t believe them and made them disperse.
11:27 p.m., Sonora — A man was arrested under suspicion of disorderly conduct and violation of probation after someone said he was harassing them at Elsey Court and Mono Way.
7:14 a.m., Tuolumne area — Hilda Reyes Martinez, 64, of the 1000 block of Parnell Avenue, Turlock, was booked under suspicion of drug possession and misdemeanor drug paraphernalia possession after an arrest on Tuolumne Road.
11:44 a.m., Sonora — Mildred Alecio Lopez, 33, of the 19600 block of Elder Lane, Big Oak Flat, was arrested by immigration officials after being in custody at the Tuolumne County Jail under suspicion of inflicting corporal injury on a spouse or cohabitant in Groveland.
2:15 p.m., Sonora — Eric Scott Campbell, 27, of the 10900 block of Laru Lane, was booked for suspicion of drug possession and misdemeanor drug paraphernalia possession, concealing or destroying evidence and violation of probation after an arrest on the 400 block of Greenley Road. He also had a local warrant for drug possession.
2:24 p.m., Sonora — Dustin Robert Stevens, 24, a transient, was booked for suspicion of forging or altering vehicle registration, violation of probation and misdemeanor driving with a suspended license for DUI after an arrest on the 400 block of Greenley Road
The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:
2:50 a.m., Copperopolis area — A man said he was assaulted by a man and two girls after he declined the advances of the man’s girlfriend earlier in the night on the 14400 block of Tulloch Road. He said they hurt his knee, and his wallet and cell phone were still in the tent with them when he used a pay phone to call 911. He asked for a ride which deputies could not provide.
1:29 p.m., Jenny Lind — A suspicious vehicle was reported on Almond Drive.
2:05 p.m., Murphys — Someone reported a fence being cut on Main Street.
6:54 p.m., San Andreas — Someone reported a suspicious person at a business on the 100 block of East St. Charles Street.
7:15 p.m., Murphys — Transients were at the creek, digging around the oak trees, maybe panning for gold.
8:05 p.m., Mountain Ranch — Someone reported an argument on Whiskey Slide Road.
8:33 p.m., Glencoe — Someone said a man came to his or her door and is not making any sense on Ponderosa Way.
8:47 p.m., Valley Springs — A suspicious person was reported on the 200 block of Highway 12.
10:27 p.m. Arnold — Someone saw two people in the neighbor’s yard on Shady Circle.
11:35 p.m., Angels Camp — An argument between a man and a woman was reported on Tuolumne Avenue.
