TUOLUMNE COUNTY

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

FRIDAY

12:50 a.m., theft — A backpack was stolen from an office at a business on the 200 block of South Green Street. An officer located the backpack at a downtown residence and arrested a 31-year-old woman on suspicion of possession of stolen property under $400.

12:02 p.m., unclassified — A 33-year-old man was contacted on the 100 block of Stockton Road and cited on suspicion of possession of stolen property under $400 in connection with the backpack stolen from South Green Street. Another man was arrested on felony and misdemeanor charges.

5:51 p.m., public intoxication — A 25-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication on the 300 block of South Washington Street.

6:35 p.m., animal complaint — A 65-year-old woman was cited on suspicion of not having a license for her dogs after they attacked a person on Dragoon Circle. Both dogs were quarantined.

SATURDAY

12:29 a.m., public intoxication — A 53-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication on the 300 block of South Washington Street.

11:44 a.m., vehicle theft — A stolen vehicle was recovered on Hope Lane.

5:44 p.m., warrant arrest — A 51-year-old woman was arrested on a misdemeanor warrant on the 800 block of Mono Way. A 59-year-old man was cited on suspicion of unauthorized possession of a shopping cart from a business.

11:55 p.m., warrant arrest — A 22-year-old man was arrested on a misdemeanor warrant at Coffill Park. A small amount of drugs was found and booked for destruction.

SUNDAY

9:03 a.m., harassment — Someone reported continuously receiving harassing emails on the 300 block of South Washington Street.

12:59 p.m., domestic violence — A woman was arrested on suspicion of battery of a spouse or cohabitant after a disturbance on the 300 block of West Stockton Street. 

2:01 p.m., theft — A Buddha sculpture was reported stolen from a business on the 100 block of South Washington Street, with the alleged theft on camera. A woman was cited and released for shoplifting.

3:08 p.m., suspicious person — A man allegedly tried to gain entry to a home on Fairview Lane by pounding on all the windows and doors. Officers concluded no crime was committed.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following: 

FRIDAY

9:57 a.m., Pinecrest — A beach bag containing a camera and other items totaling $1,800 was stolen from Pinecrest Lake.

11:25 a.m., Sonora area — A package was stolen Aug. 7 from a doorstep on the 12600 block of Red Chestnut Lane. 

12:01 p.m., Groveland — Three or four men were seen possibly looting homes at Cresthaven and Pine Mountain drives.

12:06 p.m., Groveland — A vehicle on the 11400 block of Cherry Lake Road was vandalized Aug. 19 and items were taken.

12:22 p.m., Tuolumne — A man provided his account and routing numbers over the phone to someone who claimed to be with Medicare. A fraud alert was placed on his account. 

12:58 p.m., Sonora area — An assault victim was treated for injuries sustained on Aug. 21 on the 11800 block of Highway 49 but declined to talk to a deputy.

7:13 p.m., Sonora area — A gold Rolex watch and two guitars were taken from a residence on the 23800 block of Stable Road.

SATURDAY

3:23 a.m., Tuolumne — A 30-year-old woman was arrested on misdemeanor warrants, a 37-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication and a 54-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication at Carter and Baker streets.

8:10 a.m., Columbia — A home on the 23100 block of Gold Springs Drive was burglarized.

11:32 a.m., Jamestown — A laptop was stolen from an unlocked vehicle on the 18200 block of Smoke Street. 

1:37 p.m., Mi-Wuk Village — A man said he was involved in a disagreement with the owner of a restaurant on the 24500 block of Highway 108. The man did not like his order and told the business owner to fix it. When the business owner did not fix it to the man’s specifications, the man dumped a basket over and told the owner to clean it up. The owner threw a sandwich at him. 

1:45 p.m., Groveland — A vacation residence was burglarized sometime in the past two weeks on the 20600 block of Crescent Way. A flat screen TV, swamp cooler and laptop were missing.

5:09 p.m., Tuttletown area — A 38-year-old man injured his head at the Tuttletown boat launch at New Melones Reservoir.

9:53 p.m., Groveland — A residence on the 20100 block of Ferretti Road was burglarized. A wooden sign, clothing and a leaf blower were taken.

10:28 p.m., Jamestown — Teenagers set off “dry ice bombs” on the 10300 block of Preston Lane. 

SUNDAY

8:01 a.m., Sonora — Harassment was reported near Johnny Avenue and Belmont Drive. 

8:35 a.m., Tuolumne — A woman called for information on reverse 911 calls because she didn’t receive the last advisories, she said, on the 18500 block of Mastadon Mine Road. 

9:20 a.m., Groveland — Golf clubs were reported stolen from a pickup truck on the 12700 block of Cresthaven Drive. They were later found. 

10:33 a.m., Sonora — Officers found landscape lights on the ground after a report of a possible break-in on the 22600 block of Rhine Court. 

2:39 p.m., Sonora — A 16-year-old woman was treated on Greenley Road for injuries sustained in an assault, but she admitted it was mutual combat and all parties had been drinking, so no charges were filed. Officers attempted to contact family but no one was home. 

3:43 p.m., Groveland — Someone said a shirtless elderly man wearing khakis appeared to be “on something” and walked in and out of traffic on Back Street. 

4:38 p.m., Sonora area — Someone reported a person went through the residential gate the day before about 2 p.m. and walked up to the door, but ran away when someone answered it on the 16300 block of Ridgewood Drive.

4:54 p.m., Groveland area — Someone requested assistance with a person refusing to evacuate at Evergreen Road and Highway 120. 

5:38 p.m., Jamestown — Someone reported four youths about 11 years old on bicycles at Jamestown Elementary School just before an alarm went off there on Fifth Avenue.

6:08 p.m., Mi-Wuk Village — A man reported a neighbor assaulted him and ran off on the 24500 block of Highway 108. Later it was concluded the caller was actually the aggressor and had been drinking. 

7:01 p.m., Sonora area — People continuously trespassed on an area by spinning donuts on it and kids have been removing “No Trespassing” signs on the 18200 block of Sleepy Hollow Road.

7:36 p.m., Groveland area — Media was in the way of firefighters and equipment at Hardin Flat Road and Highway 120. 

11:16 p.m., Columbia — A group of about 5 12-year-olds shot a dog with pellet guns on the 21800 block of Parrotts Ferry Road. 

MONDAY

1:05 a.m., Tuolumne River area — A woman was treated for injuries received from an assault committed while camping along the south fork of the Tuolumne River.

6:24 a.m., Columbia — A woman reported her medication stolen for the 16th time on the 22400 block of South Airport Road.

FRIDAY

2:48 a.m., Mono Vista — Megan Lynn Rice, 20, of the 16100 block of Tuolumne Road, was booked on suspicion of willful cruelty to a child after an arrest on the 21800 block of Crystal Falls Drive.

6:22 a.m., Sonora area — Paul William Robicheaux, 37, of the 100 block of Columbia Way, was booked on suspicion of willful infliction of corporal injury after an arrest at his home.

12:07 p.m., Sonora area — Timothy Sosa Townsend, 26, a transient, was booked on suspicion of conspiracy to commit a misdemeanor after an arrest on the 100 block of Stockton Road. He was also booked on a misdemeanor charge of possession of stolen property.

1:30 p.m., Sonora area — Ralph Carl Holm, 55, of the 22400 block of Lower Quail Mine Drive, was booked on suspicion of carrying a concealed dirk or dagger and possession of drugs for sale after an arrest on the 19600 block of Serrano Road. He was also booked on a misdemeanor charge of obstructing a public officer.

SATURDAY

12:08 a.m., Sonora area — Tyler Scott Peterson, 20, of an unknown address, was booked on suspicion of possession of drugs after an arrest on the 21300 block of Calle Quartz Road. He was also booked on a misdemeanor warrant.

FRIDAY

12:01 a.m., Twain Harte — Jeremiah Franklin Nulph, 33, of the 20000 of Waif Mine Road, Sonora, was booked after an arrest on Manzanita Drive at Joaquin Gully Road. He was also booked on a misdemeanor charge of driving with a license suspended for a DUI.

4:22 p.m., Tuolumne — Stephen Leonard Calvillo Jr., 26, of the 500 block of Barretta Street, Sonora, was booked after an arrest at Tuolumne Road North and Cherokee Road.

8:47 p.m., Sonora area — Jonathan Hernandez, 23, of the 100 block of Shilo Road, Windsor, was booked after an arrest on Highway 108 at Draper Mine Road.

SATURDAY

2:55 a.m., Sonora — Jennifer Brooke Bouchard, 38, of an unknown address, was booked after an arrest on the 500 block of South Shepherd Street.

6:07 p.m., Jamestown — Spencer Wells Palmer, 31, of an unknown address, was booked after an arrest on Rawhide Road at Highway 49.

SUNDAY

12:13 a.m., Tuolumne — Juan Antonio Nichols, 30, of the 18000 block of Apple Colony Road, was booked after an arrest at Mount Eaton and Providence Mine roads. He was also booked on suspicion of driving with a suspended license for DUI. 

CALAVERAS COUNTY

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

FRIDAY

7:38 a.m., San Andreas — Someone was arrested on an out-of-county warrant on the 100 block of East Saint Charles Street.

8:47 a.m., Arnold — Batteries and equipment were stolen from a locked yard on Dunbar Road.

12:41 p.m., Valley Springs — A vehicle was broken into on Hogan Dam Road.

6:13 p.m., Mountain Ranch — A dispute over cats was reported on South Railroad Flat Road. 

9:30 p.m., Arnold — A door was open to a home on White Pines Road and possible intruders were reported.

SATURDAY

6:03 a.m., Valley Springs — A business on the 1600 block of Highway 26 was burglarized.

6:36 a.m., Valley Springs — Assault was reported on Baldwin Street.

6:42 p.m., San Andreas — Theft was reported on Bargers Court.

9:45 a.m., Jenny Lind — A stolen golf cart was found in a ditch near Highway 26 and Milton Road.

10:36 a.m., Wilseyville — A property on North Railroad Flat Road was burglarized.

3:27 p.m., Mountain Ranch — A vehicle fire was reported on South Railroad Flat Road.

4:14 p.m., Angels Camp — Someone was bit by a dog at New Melones Reservoir.

6:32 p.m., Wilseyville — Vandalism to equipment was reported on Gold Trail.

10:32 p.m., Valley Springs — Two people were arrested and many were cited at a party on Clements Place.

SUNDAY

9:14 a.m., Copperopolis — A domestic dispute was reported on Iroquois Court. 

9:27 a.m., Angels Camp — Someone could be heard walking along Pinto Road, firing a gun as he or she went, according to a caller. 

1 p.m., Angels Camp — People that were apparently allowed to stay on the property shot out all the windows of a trailer on Appaloosa Road. 

2:47 p.m., Wilseyville — Someone reported squatters on Blue Mountain Road.

3:17 p.m., Valley Springs — “Lots” of gunshots were reported near Shadow Lane. 

6:07 p.m, Copperopolis — A citation was issued after a verbal dispute on Arrowhead Street. 

9:40 p.m., Mokelumne Hill — Two gunshots were reported near the 9200 block of Highway 26. 

10:21 p.m., Copperopolis — A woman was on a porch yelling at a person on Arrowhead Street.

FRIDAY

2:46 a.m., San Andreas — Noah Joseph Flores, 33, of the 400 block of Gold Court, was booked on suspicion of possession of concentrated cannabis, possession of marijuana for sale and misdemeanor driving with a suspended license after an arrest at Russell Road and Sunset Street. 

11:40 a.m., West Point — Rylan Christopher Luckey, 27, of the 1200 block of Winton Road, was booked on suspicion of violation of parole after an arrest at the West Point Fire Station.

2:48 p.m., Angels Camp — Christina Janelle Martinez, 25, of the 800 block of South Main Street, was booked on suspicion of inflicting child cruelty leading to possible injury or death after an arrest at her home. 

SATURDAY

3:54 a.m., Angels Camp — James Manning, 48, of the 6000 block of Highway 273, Anderson, was booked on suspicion of drug possession and misdemeanor driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol, drug paraphernalia possession and being under the influence drugs after an arrest at Highway 4 and Vallecito Road. 

SUNDAY

1:45 a.m., Valley Springs — Crystal Ann Hart, 37, of the 5800 block of Clements Place, was booked on suspicion of inflicting child cruelty, possibly leading to injury or death and misdemeanor contributing to the delinquency of a minor and obstructing a public officer after an arrest at her home.

7:15 a.m., San Andreas — Gilberto Leon Serrano, 37, of the 9100 block of Lujan Drive, Elk Grove, was booked after an arrest on Highway 49. He was also booked on suspicion of driving with a suspended license.

12:49 a.m., Angels Camp — Lynnette Rene Hostetter, 46, of the 18300 block of Main Street, Jamestown, was booked after an arrest at Highway 49 and Copello Drive. 

3:45 a.m., Arnold — William Haney Gordon, 54, of a Nevada address, was booked after an arrest at Highway 4 and Big Trees Parkway. 

10:47 a.m., Valley Springs — Joseph Whitfield Eisele, 46, of the 600 block of Ledgestone Court, Lincoln, was booked after an arrest at Highway 12 and Chestnut Street. 

10:39 p.m., Arnold — Brian Jeffrey Betts, 48, of the 30600 block of Ratekin Drive, Union City, was booked after an arrest at Cypress Point and Meadow Drive.
