The Sonora Police Department reported the following:
7:46 a.m., disorderly conduct — A man reportedly sprayed neighbors with a hose on Oak Street. The neighbors did not press charges.
7:57 a.m., theft — Someone said a woman stole from a store and pushed him or her on the way out on the 300 block of West Stockton Road.
12:18 p.m., disturbing the peace — Someone said a man drove by three times with a CB radio antenna sticking out of the cab of his pickup truck and the radio is causing the amplifiers to feed back inside a business on the 100 block of North Washington Street.
3:41 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A man staggered out of his car on the way to a pharmacy on Greenley Road. Officers concluded he was not intoxicated.
5:34 p.m., assault — Someone said he or she was hit by a neighbor on Oak Street.
The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:
8:22 a.m., Sonora area — Theft was reported at Hess Avenue and Tuolumne Road.
9:24 a.m., Columbia — A woman said two methadone patches were missing from her dresser drawer and prescription notes were missing from her purse for Norco and methadone. She needed a report to get a new prescription and kept talking and talking, according to the dispatcher.
9:55 a.m., Groveland — A caller said a neighbor is screaming and yelling again and is an ongoing problem on Cottonwood Road. Officers met with the alleged yeller who was polite and said he was not screaming and does not have mental or drug issues.
10:52 a.m., Sonora — Someone reported an ATM card missing from the mail on Tinnin Court.
11:50 a.m., Groveland — Threats were reported at James Circle and Wells Fargo Drive.
11:58 a.m., Sonora — A patient reported theft of $100 at a care facility on Sylva Lane. Employees said he has memory problems.
12:22 p.m., Groveland — Someone reported a burglary because a substance like melted wax was in the bathroom. Officers concluded it was sealant from a leak in the roof.
1:42 p.m., Groveland — Officers could not locate anyone at a home reported for a disturbance on Smith Station Road.
2:20 p.m., Sonora — A man reported giving his checking account information to a caller claiming to work for Medicare and later realized it was “bogus.” He had not lost any money yet and will continue to monitor his account.
3:45 p.m., Groveland — A fraud attempt was reported on Blue Bell Court.
3:55 p.m., Sonora area — A woman was reportedly threatened by her “ex” to have five girls beat her up on Rhine River Drive East.
6:03 p.m., Sonora — Vandalism was reported on Shaws Flat School Road.
7:23 p.m., Jamestown — A woman was very upset on the phone about the father of her children having them, but she did not have any legal custody protection. Dispatchers left a message for the man to make sure the kids were alright.
10:48 p.m., Jamestown — Someone said several youths squeezed through a fence to a business on the 18200 block of Fifth Avenue, then the alarm went off. The youths said they were just cutting through to a home behind it.
10:56 p.m., Tuolumne — A man said a woman he gave a ride home to stole his wallet on Oak Street.
10:59 p.m., Jamestown — Someone thought people were trying to break into a home on the 10600 block of Campo Seco Road. Officers said the home was secure.
11:07 p.m., Jamestown — Someone said a bloody teenager jumped in the back of their vehicle, then ran off when told to leave on the 18300 block of Ninth Avenue. He was later found in relation to a car accident by California Highway Patrol.
12:03 a.m., Twain Harte — A woman said her boyfriend assaulted her on the 18400 block of Marquis Drive. He left and was not found.
3:56 a.m., Jamestown — Two people were cited for spray-painting graffiti in the tunnel underneath Highway 108 at Wigwam Road.
1:38 p.m., Jamestown — Jeremy Alan Douglas Griggs, 22, a transient, was booked on suspicion of drug possession and misdemeanor providing false identification to a peace officer after an arrest at Rocca Park on Main Street.
4:23 p.m., Twain Harte — Michael Anthony Borja, 23, of the 18400 block of Muir Avenue, was booked on suspicion of inflicting corporal injury on a spouse or cohabitant after an arrest at his home.
Cited on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs:
9:59 p.m., Sonora — Matthew James Smith, 38, of the 100 block of Pine Street, was booked after an arrest at Restano Way and South Washington Street.
The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:
9:29 a.m., San Andreas — A man and woman were arguing in a parking lot at Pope and California streets.
12:14 p.m., Valley Springs — A garage, fence and trash cans were vandalized on Lazer Court.
12:47 p.m., San Andreas — Someone went to the Sheriff’s Office to complain about a neighborly dispute about firewood and other issues.
2:13 p.m., San Andreas — A car window was found smashed on Sunset Court.
2:40 p.m., Valley Springs — Possible internet fraud was reported at a Highway 12 address.
7:40 p.m., West Point — Someone heard a man walking down the road cursing that he is blind and locked out of his home along Highway 26. A deputy later contacted him and he confirmed he had access to his home now.
11 p.m., Valley Springs — Someone reported trespassers on their property, possibly looking for firewood.
5:20 p.m., Arnold — Floyd D. Moore, 49, of the 5000 block of Glen Echo Drive, was booked on suspicion of receiving known stolen property worth $400 or more and misdemeanor obstructing a peace officer, driving with a suspend license, displaying false registration, and failure to appear in court after an arrest on Highway 4 across from Meadowview Road.
