Sheriff's reports

MONDAY

6:49 a.m., Standard — A snack shack and office at Standard Park on the 18500 block of Standard Road were burglarized.

9:59 a.m., Sonora area — A man said newspaper racks in various locations were vandalized and money stolen from them.

11:02 a.m., Columbia area — A man said he was fighting with his apartment manager over allegedly stolen property.

12:34 p.m., Tuolumne — A caller on the 20000 block of Canyonview Drive said a plug was missing from an oil pan on her vehicle.

1:01 p.m., Sonora Meadows — A Sullivan Creek School employee said a window was broken at the school on the 16300 block of Hidden Valley Road.

3:24 p.m., Jamestown — A woman on the 10600 block of Seventh Street said a bicycle had been left in her yard.

4:08 p.m., Don Pedro area — The manager of Don Pedro Market on the 3300 block of Highway 132 said a battery valued at $120 was stolen from a forklift.

5:27 p.m., Twain Harte — A woman said a man appeared to be drunk in a parking lot on the 18700 block of Tiffeni Drive.

7:08 p.m., Soulsbyville — An Outpost employee said a man pumped gasoline into his car, but after his check was declined, the man took off on foot, leaving his mother standing by the car.

7:30 p.m., Twain Harte — A man said a window at his neighbor's house on the 23800 block of Hilltop Circle was broken.

8:40 p.m., East Sonora — A deputy was unable to locate a suspicious-looking man said to be in front of Best Western Sonora Oaks Motel on the 19900 block of Hess Avenue.

11:36 p.m., Jamestown — A caller said he saw a man wearing a dark jacket carrying a dark-colored duffel bag trying to break in through a door at a convenience store on the 9900 block of Victoria Way.

YESTERDAY

12:56 a.m., Columbia — A caller on the 22000 block of Ledge Lane said a pitbull attacked the caller's cat, and the caller said this is an ongoing problem.

1:24 a.m., Twain Harte — A minor was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication on Tuolumne Road at Highway 108.

4:19 a.m., Tuolumne — A man said three handguns were stolen from his house on the 18400 block of Chestnut Avenue.

9:16 p.m., Sonora — Justin Lawrence Buck, 20, 16600 block of South Creekside Drive, Sonora, booked on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia after arrest on the 400 block of North Washington Street, Sonora. He was released after posting $10,000 bail.

Cited on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol:

Francis Pat Kelly, 51, 5700 block of Shilling Road, Coulterville, booked at 12:50 a.m. today after arrest on Highway 120 west of Hells Hollow, Groveland.

Diane Dilday, 55, 23600 block of Marble Quarry Road, Columbia booked at 1:18 a.m. today after arrest on Parrotts Ferry Road at Union Hill Road, Columbia.

MONDAY

12:05 a.m., warrant arrest — A 20-year-old man was arrested on an out-of-county warrant charging him with failure to appear on a charge of driving without a license. He also was arrested for the same charge.

10:30 a.m., animal complaint — A woman on the 400 block of East Oakside Drive said a bat was in a bedroom.

11:31 a.m., theft — A woman at Sonora Days Inn on the 100 block of South Washington Street said an ex-employee came in and took money out of the cash register.

11:36 a.m., suspicious circumstances — An officer checked on undisclosed activity at the intersection of South Washington and West Church streets.

1:32 p.m., hazard — A man said a capped needle was found in a gravel parking lot on the 500 block of South Washington Street.

2:47 p.m., suspicious circumstances — Somebody was reportedly illegally parked at the intersection of Mono Way and Greenley Road.

2:59 p.m., theft — A resident on the 60 block of Macomber Avenue said his or her home was broke into in January. A checkbook and day planner were stolen.

3:01 p.m., public intoxication — A 23-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication on Restano Way.

5:42 p.m., theft — A woman on the 200 block of Greenley Road said her purse, which contained a driver's license and other cards, was stolen on the 1100 block of Sanguinetti Road.

7:01 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A man said he could see four kids ages 12 to 14 going in and out of a manhole near the intersection of Greenley and Sanguinetti roads.

9:14 p.m., threats — A woman on the 100 block of Crooked Lane said her ex-boyfriend was threatening her. She said she could hear a gun being cocked over the phone.

10:04 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A woman on the 400 block of Greenley Road said she saw someone dealing drugs in the area.

10:29 p.m., fight — An unknown type of fight was reported on the 40 block of Oak Road.

8:08 a.m., Valley Springs — Windows and a sliding door were broken at a house on the 7400 block of Baldwin Street.

8:38 a.m., Valley Springs — A bathroom at a ballfield behind Valley Springs Elementary School was vandalized.

9:51 a.m., Valley Springs — A house on the 100 block of Myrtle Street was burglarized.

12:38 p.m., Copperopolis — A boat motor was stolen from a boat store on the 4300 block of Bonnett Court.

6:23 p.m., Arnold — A woman reported a check was stolen from the 1600 block of Rawhide Road and forged for $600.

9:53 p.m., Arnold — A caller said two people wearing dark clothing were hiding in bushes around a house on the 3200 block of Diablo View Court.

YESTERDAY

12:25 a.m., Angels Camp — A woman on the 3000 block of Murphys Grade Road said that against all household rules, her daughter and friends were locked inside her bedroom smoking cigarettes.

12:20 p.m., San Andreas — Brandi Renee Cannam, 33, 4000 block of Williams Way, Camino booked a warrant charging her with receiving stolen property after an arrest at the El Dorado County Jail. She remained in custody this morning in lieu of $15,000 bail.

12:45 p.m., San Andreas — Nancy Lynne Miller, 48, 600 block of Mountain Ranch Road, San Andreas, booked on suspicion of being a felon in possession of a firearm after arrest at her house. She remained in custody this morning in lieu of $15,000 bail.

4 p.m., San Andreas — Robert Edward Lee, 21, 2000 Morrow Avenue, Kingman, booked on a warrant charging him with child molestation after arrest at a state prison reception center. He remained in custody this morning in lieu of $15,000 bail.

Aaron Bradley Cringle, 25, 2500 Pine Drive, Arnold, booked at 2:50 a.m. today after arrest on Highway 4 in Avery.

Fires

MONDAY

2:51 p.m., West Point area — A half acre of brush burned on land owned by Ted Toren on the 1500 block of Winton Road. The cause was not determined this morning. The California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection and the West Point Fire Protection District responded.
