The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:


8:38 a.m., Murphys — A burglary occurred on Tom Bell Drive.

12:45 p.m., Valley Springs — A theft occurred on Hoffman Court.

1:51 p.m., San Andreas — A burglary occurred on East St. Charles Street.

2:30 p.m., Wallace — A burglary occurred at Quartz Drive and Camanche Parkway South.

10:38 p.m., Valley Springs — A fence was vandalized at an apartment complex on Paradise Peak.


1:50 a.m., Mountain Ranch — A report was taken for Old Greek Mine Road.

Felony bookings


11:59 a.m., Arnold — Jason Lee Taylor, 45, of an unknown address in Arnold, was booked on suspicion of first-degree burglary, after an arrest on the 2500 block of Camanche Court.

12:20 p.m., Valley Springs — Lisa Marie Sanford, 34, of the 200 block of South Cedar Street, was booked on suspicion of possession of stolen property and criminal conspiracy, after an arrest at her home.


Cited on suspicion of driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs:


3:40 a.m., Valley Springs — Daniel S. Niederbrach, 21, of the 8500 block of Rice Court, was arrested on Warren Road.


The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:


9 a.m., Tuolumne — A woman on the 18300 block of Parkview Lane said there were fraudulent charges on her debit card. Her bank cancelled the transactions before they could be processed and issued her a new card, but she wanted to document the incident with law enforcement.

11:30 a.m., Sonora area — A real estate agent said she had a listing for a foreclosed house on the 18300 block of Robin Ridge Road and several items were taken from it, including a stove hood and a propane heater. She did not know when the items were last intact or when the final walk through was conducted.

12:06 p.m., Tuolumne — A rental property on the 18500 block of Elm Avenue was vandalized.

2:18 p.m., Sonora — Someone on the 10800 block of Countryside Court said there was a 2-year-old toddler walking in the highway for about 10 minutes. A neighbor took the toddler home.

2:33 p.m., Jamestown — A woman parked her vehicle in front of a house on the 17800 block of Black Bart Drive while on vacation and someone broke out the back window.

2:53 p.m., Tuolumne — A man said his vehicle was burglarized while parked in his driveway on the 17900 block of Ruby Road.

5:30 a.m., Tuolumne — Angela Camille Vela, 41, and Stephanie Anita Vela, 33, both of the 1700 block of Mountain Side Drive, Soulsbyville, were booked on suspicion of drug possession, after arrests at Mi Wuk Street and North Tuolumne Road.

8:53 a.m., Sonora — William Stuart Bash Jr., 51, transient, was booked on suspicion of failing to register as a felony sex offender, after an arrest on Greenley Road.

6:37 p.m., Sonora area — Joanne Grace Porter, 58, of the 20200 block of Partridge Way, was booked on suspicion of drug possession, after an arrest at her home.

3:29 a.m., Sonora — Matthew Alan Hardie, 33, of the 24300 block of Kewin Mill Road, was arrested at Sonora Regional Medical Center.

6:37 p.m., Tuolumne — Susan Diane Albuquerque, 56, of the 21100 block of Pokie Drive, Soulsbyville, was arrested on Tuolumne Road near Summerville High School.

10:51 p.m., Sonora — Arvey Jason Drown, 48, of the 11000 block of Houser Lane, Columbia, was arrested at North Forest Road and Bonanza Court.

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:


2:45 p.m., theft — Two purses were stolen from an antique store on South Washington Street.

3:51 p.m., traffic accidents — An elderly woman struck a vehicle parked at a gas station on South Washington Street and drove away.
