Sheriff's reports

THURSDAY

8:11 a.m., Cedar Ridge — A man said his mountain bicycle valued at $800 was stolen from a shed on the 16900 block of Broken Pine Road.

9:18 a.m., Phoenix Lake area — A caller said a woman driving a small white Ford pickup truck on Phoenix Lake Road toward Mono Way was possibly drunk.

9:36 a.m., Jamestown — A woman on the 8400 block of Old Melones Dam Road said her prescription medication was stolen from her unlocked vehicle.

11:17 a.m., East Sonora — A man said he lost a set of keys near a stoplight at The Junction shopping center Wednesday. A lot of tool and equipment keys were on the key ring.

11:45 a.m., Crystal Falls — A woman on the 20000 block of Feather River Drive said his Social Security number was used fraudulently.

3:04 p.m., Tuolumne — A 20-year-old man was booked on a Nevada County misdemeanor warrant after an arrest on Laurel Avenue at Cedar Street.

3:34 a.m., Don Pedro area — A man said people continue to trespass on property on the 14400 block of Avenida Central, where he is building a house.

3:40 p.m., Twain Harte — A caller said an elderly and intoxicated man was laying on the side of Little Fuller Road. The caller helped the man into his pickup truck and took him to the Twain Harte Community Service Unit office.

4:42 p.m., Big Oak Flat — A woman said a tenant at the 11900 block of Black Road was threatening to beat other tenants up after being served with eviction papers.

4:57 p.m., Standard area — A man said two vicious bulldogs on Christie Mae Lane were loose and threatened a dog on a neighbor's deck. The caller said the dogs have threatened people and livestock in the past.

5:42 p.m., Jamestown — A man said that while he was at a bar on Highway 108 in Jamestown a woman with whom he was having drinks left, possibly taking some of his belongings out of his unlocked vehicle in the lot.

5:29 p.m., Phoenix Lake area — A man said his unlocked vehicle parked on the 21000 block of Phoenix Lake Road was broken into. A stereo amplifier, a ratchet set and his wallet were stolen.

6:02 p.m., Long Barn — A woman on the 25000 block of Long Barn Road said a shed was broken into and tools were stolen.

FRIDAY

3:01 a.m., Belleview Oaks — A caller said he saw a man wearing dark clothing inside his neighbor's two vehicles parked on the 21000 block of Belleview Road.

6:13 a.m., Tuolumne — A deputy told a woman to leave a property on the 18300 block of Tuolumne Road.

6:20 a.m., Twain Harte —A man said his car was burglarized while parked on the 22400 block of Tuolumne Road North.

7:56 a.m., East Sonora — The Christian Heights Thrift Store on Tuolumne Road was reported burglarized.

9:11 a.m., Jamestown — A caller said her home, on the 13900 block of Tulloch Dam Road, was burglarized.

10:20 a.m., Tuolumne — A caller said a student was under the influence of alcohol at Summerville High School.

11:54 a.m., Twain Harte — As a sergeant tried to get a car ahead of him to pull over, it crashed into a ditch on the 23200 block of Highway 108.

12:10 p.m., Strawberry — A man on the 28200 block of Old Strawberry Road said a window in his vehicle was broken.

12:15 p.m., Jamestown area — A man said someone came onto his property on O'Byrnes Ferry Road, shot four of his pigs and put them in the water.

1:26 p.m., Twain Harte — A woman said her RV storage area on the 18500 block of Wildwood Drive was burglarized.

2:09 p.m., Mi-Wuk Village — A woman said unknown people were in a neighbor's house on Kutci Drive.

2:16 p.m., Sonora area — A man on the 12800 block of Mono Way said a a young man threw him against a wall and choked him.

7:22 p.m., Sonora area — A man said his wife's purse was stolen from their home, on the 16300 block of Acorn Drive.

9:31 p.m., Sonora area — A man said people were shooting paint balls at drivers as went under the overpass at Crooked Lane and Highway 108.

9:34 p.m., Mi-Wuk Village — A man said his vacation home on the 24300 block of Pela Road was burglarized.

10:07 p.m., Columbia — A man said a group of kids were throwing water balloons and eggs at cars driving by the 22600 block of Parrotts Ferry Road.

11:51 p.m., Soulsbyville — A caller said a fight broke out at a party on Allison Way.

SATURDAY

2:01 a.m., Sonora area — A deputy caught people stealing tires on the 19000 block of Standard Road.

2:34 a.m., Sonora area — A man said a 35-year-old was "drunk, naked and knocking on all the doors" on the 19500 block of Hess Avenue.

9:10 a.m., Twain Harte — A man on Manzanita Drive said his back tires were slashed.

11:58 a.m., Sonora area — A man said someone was trespassing on the 11700 block of Columbia College Drive.

12:03 p.m., Sonora area — A man said he was assaulted and his cell phone was taken on Parrotts Ferry Road.

12:31 p.m., Columbia — A man said he was threatened by his neighbor on the 10600 block of North Airport Road.

1:12 p.m., Columbia — A man said his business van was burglarized while parked on Broadway Street.

2:27 p.m., Tuolumne — A man said his mail was stolen out of his mailbox on the 20200 block of Eastview Drive.

5:10 p.m., Sonora area — A woman said a flute, food and cash were taken from her home on the 16100 block of Big Hill Road.

5:20 p.m., Twain Harte — Four people reported two men fighting in the middle of East Avenue.

5:54 p.m., Sonora area — A woman said someone tried to break into her vehicle on the 16300 block of Acorn Drive sometime over the last few days.

7:47 p.m., Columbia — A man said someone driving 50 or 60 mph tried to run him over on the 12500 block of Remington Mine Road, so he threw a piece of wood through the windshield.

8:46 p.m., Jamestown — A caller said a stereo face plate and CDs were taken from inside their vehicle parked on the 10200 block of Preston Lane.

8:59 p.m., Mi-Wuk Village — A man on the 20800 block of Muyu Court said another man knocked on his door and asked for a cigarette and a condom. When the man said he didn't have any, the other man took off running.

10:45 p.m., Jamestown — A man said he just drove by his out of town friend's house on the 17600 block of Rolling Hills Boulevard and the front door was open.

YESTERDAY

12:28 a.m., Sonora area — A woman said the man running around nude the night before was harassing an employee on the 19600 block of Hess Avenue.

7:39 a.m., Jamestown — A caller reported a car was stolen off Seco Street the night before.

8:29 a.m., Columbia — A woman said a man came to an office on Airport Road asking for money.

9:41 a.m., Columbia — A woman said someone entered her unlocked house on the 22700 block of Quail Mine Road in the middle of the night and took her purse.

Felony bookings

THURSDAY

4:24 a.m., Tuolumne — Sheri Darlynn Bonds, 40, 1500 block of Modoc Avenue, Modesto, booked on suspicion of drug possession and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop and arrest on Buchanan Road at Carter Street. Also booked was Michael Dean Hoyopatubbi, 44, 1200 block of Westland, Modesto, on a felony parole hold and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.

According to a sheriff's report, Bonds was driving a Ford Bronco that was stopped for a traffic violation. A sheriff's dispatcher confirmed Hoyopatubbi was wanted on a California Department of Corrections warrant and he was arrested. When a deputy searched Hoyopatubbi, he found a spoon in his pocket that contained heroin residue. Bonds was searched and the officer found a pipe with methamphetamine residue inside.

Bonds remained held this morning in lieu of $10,000 bail. Hoyopatubbi was held without bail.

11:19 p.m., Jamestown — Randall Linzy Murphy, 50, no address given, Jamestown, booked on a felony parole hold after an arrest on the 10700 block of Wigwam Road. No details were available. He remained held this morning without bail.

FRIDAY

2:07 a.m., East Sonora — Kathleen Sue Mattison, 54, 4300 block of Jan Way, San Jose, booked on suspicion of misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia and a felony parole hold after a traffic stop and arrest on Greenley Road at Mono Way. According to a sheriff's report, the deputy who searched Mattison and her car found four pipes — one in her pocket, two in her purse and one in the center console of Mattison's car. She remained held this morning without bail.

9:35 a.m., fraudulent activity — A caller on the 200 block of Greenley Road reported check fraud and identity theft.

9:37 a.m., theft — A man on the 700 block of East Bald Mountain Road said porch furniture was stolen from the house.

1:07 p.m., vandalism — A caller at Sonora Gold Lodge on Stockton Road said a man damaged a door at the motel.

3:05 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A caller said small kids left in a white Volvo car parked on the 1000 block of Mono Way kept setting off the car alarm.

4:46 p.m., traffic accident — A caller blocked in a vehicle that he said hit his car on the 700 block of Mono Way.

8:27 p.m., vandalism — A 20-year-old man was cited and released after a caller said he sprayed graffiti on a shed display in front of Orchard Supply Hardware on the 1000 block of Mono Way.

9:49 p.m., traffic accident — An 18-year-old man sought treatment at Sonora Regional Medical Center for arm injuries suffered while hanging onto a moving vehicle on Lyons Street. The man said he slipped and the car ran over his arm.

10:43 p.m., vandalism — A woman driving on Shaws Flat Road said her car was hit with paint balls.

1:41 a.m., sexual offense — A woman passenger made unwanted sexual advances to a taxi driver on South Washington Street.

8:32 a.m., traffic accident — A non-injury accident occurred at Sanguinetti and Old Wards Ferry roads.

8:34 a.m., found property — A bike was left at a business on the 500 block of North Washington Street.

10:05 a.m., traffic accident — A non-injury accident occurred on Morning Star Drive.

12:52 p.m., traffic accident — A non-injury accident occurred on the 800 block of Mono Way.

3:24 p.m., theft — A woman said a white chair was taken from her porch, on the 200 block of Theall Street.

4:45 p.m., suspicious circumstances — The assistant manager of a store on the 1100 block of Sanguinetti Road asked for help removing petitioners from the front of the store.

5 p.m., theft — A woman said a statue was taken from her yard on the 100 block of Cemetery Lane.

7:25 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A man on South Barretta Street said the back door of the house in back of his was open, but the owners were out of town.

9:54 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A caller said two men were carrying items out of a store on the 200 block of Stockton Road.

11:24 p.m., fight — A fight between two males was reported on South Washington Street.

SATURDAY

8:42 a.m., suspicious circumstances — A woman said a man was verbally abusive to her and chased her out of a business on the 700 block of Mono Way.

8:57 a.m., hazardous situation — A branch had fallen onto Hope Lane.

10:23 a.m., traffic accident — A non-injury accident occurred in front of a business on Sanguinetti Road.

12:54 p.m., traffic accident — A non-injury accident occurred on the 300 block of South Shepherd Street.

3:55 p.m., harassment — A man said he was being harassed by the person he sold a car to on North Stewart Street.

4:14 p.m., fight — A caller said their neighbors on the 100 block of Banner Drive were yelling at them across the fence.

6:50 p.m., public intoxication — A caller said an extremely intoxicated man has been in and out of a business on South Washington Street.

YESTERDAY

12:14 a.m., fight — A caller said a fight broke out in front of a business on the 100 block of South Washington Street.

Fire calls

FRIDAY

10:20 p.m., Groveland — A vehicle was engulfed in fire on the 18900 block of Ferretti Road. Groveland Community Services District and California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection responded. No further details were available this morning.

SATURDAY

10:15 a.m., Groveland — A malfunctioning water heater caused a fire in a shed owned by Joe Burns on the 9900 block of Jackass Creek Road, causing $1,000 damage to the shed. CDF and Groveland Community Services District responded.

4:30 p.m., Groveland — An escaped debris burn scorched a quarter-acre of grass on the 20400 block of White Gulch Road. No dollar damage was caused. CDF and Groveland Community Services District responded.

9:02 a.m., Murphys — Items were stolen from a construction site on the 900 block of French Gulch Road.

4:19 p.m., Mountain Ranch — Two men were screaming at each other on the 5800 block of Emigrant Trail.

4:19 p.m., San Andreas — Turkey hunters were reported on the 1900 block of Highway 12.

4:35 p.m., Mountain Ranch — A caller on the 8300 block of Emigrant Trail said a man pulled a knife on him and broke his vehicle's rear window.

4:58 p.m., Vallecito — A purse and wallet was stolen from a vehicle parked at the Natural Bridges trail head on the 4200 block of Parrotts Ferry Road.

5:27 p.m., Valley Springs — A caller on the 2600 block of Berkesey Lane said their brother was yelling obscenities at them.

6:20 p.m., Angels Camp — Juveniles were shooting pellet guns at a neighbor on the 4300 block of French Gulch Road.

9:16 p.m., San Andreas — A man was reportedly stealing a road sign at the intersection of St. Charles Street and Mountain Ranch Road.

10:18 p.m., San Andreas — A loud party was reported on the 500 block of Lewis Avenue.

11:26 p.m., Valley Springs — A caller on the 4300 block of South Highway 26 said a light was on at a house under construction.

11:31 p.m., Arnold — A father and son had a dispute on the 2300 block of Chaparral Drive.

FRIDAY

8 p.m., San Andreas — A caller reported an ongoing dispute between a landlord and a tenant on the 2100 block of Gold Strike Road.

10:37 p.m., Angels Camp — A caller said their car parked on the 1700 block of Moose Trail was vandalized.

Felony bookings

THURSDAY

12:45 p.m., Arnold — Thomas Michael Edwards, 47, 1200 block of Shady Circle, Arnold, booked on suspicion of drug possession after arrest on Highway 4. Edwards remained in custody this morning at Calaveras County Jail in lieu of $15,000 bail.

Fire call

YESTERDAY

1:10 p.m., Murphys area — A debris burn escaped, scorching a half-acre of land owned by Arno Stites on the 2500 block of Murphys Grade Road. No dollar damage was caused. Responding were Murphys and Altaville-Melones fire protection districts, California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection and Angels Camp Fire Department.
