TUOLUMNE COUNTY

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

FRIDAY

6:59 a.m., Twain Harte — A purse was taken from a business on the 22900 block of Twain Harte Drive, for an estimated loss of $304.11.

8:04 a.m., Jamestown — A vehicle was in the creek at Wigwam and Jamestown roads.

12:26 p.m., Twain Harte — A purse was taken from a business on the 22900 block of Twain Harte Drive, for an estimated loss of $235.

2:35 p.m., East Sonora — A man said another man brandished a switchblade while they were arguing at a fast-food business on the 13700 block of Mono Way.

4:58 p.m., Columbia — A woman said someone just took her son’s BB gun on the 11000 block of State Street.

7:16 p.m., East Sonora — Two people were arrested on charges of shoplifting at a business on the 13700 block of Mono Way.

9:24 p.m., Groveland — The tennis courts and outside vending machine at Pine Mountain Drive and Boitano Road were vandalized, and the vending machine was picked up and rolled down an embankment.

9:30 p.m., Sonora — Deputies helped the Sonora Police Department with a theft in progress on the 1100 block of Sanguinetti Road.

11:26 p.m., Big Hill area — When people arrived at their home on the 14800 block of Big Hill Road, they found the house had been broken into.

SATURDAY

1:51 a.m., Twain Harte — Seven people were physically fighting at Twain Harte Drive and Joaquin Gully Road. No one appeared to have serious injuries, no one requested an ambulance and no one wanted to press charges. They were sent on their way.

1:58 a.m., Groveland — A Pine Mountain Lake security guard saw a shadowy figure near a vacant building by the Pine Mountain Lake Airport. He checked the building, and when he returned to his car, he found someone had taken his cell phone, jacket and a small device the security guards use to record their location.

 11:50 a.m., Mi-Wuk Village — Three or four gallons of gasoline were stolen from a car on the 20700 Block of Haiapo Road.

11:53 a.m., Mi-wuk Village — A woman was treated at Sonora Regional Medical Center Emergency Department following an assault earlier in the morning on the 24500 block of Highway 108.

3:33 p.m., Strawberry — A bus spun out on the 34000 block of Leland Meadow Road and was blocking the roadway.

5:53 p.m., Jamestown — Someone at Highway 108 and Fifth Avenue said there was a man stumbling in and out of the roadway and yelling at passing cars.

9:53 p.m., Jamestown — A man said the windshield on his vehicle was smashed and several items were stolen from it while parked on the 18200 block of Main Street.

11:22 p.m., Soulsbyville — A woman said someone broke into her car on the 20500 block of Willow Springs Drive and stole a backpack, groceries and other items.

SUNDAY

8:24 a.m., Sonora area — A woman on the 19700 block said someone removed several items from her car and scattered them on her front lawn. She didn’t know anyone who would want to do that to her.

1:07 p.m., Groveland — A man on the 9000 block of Smith Station Road alleged that his neighbor shot his dog. The neighbor advised the dog was urinating on his porch. Deputies took a report of the incident.

2:35 p.m., Sonora area — A man on the 14900 block of Curtis Circle alleged that his ex-girlfriend broke into his house and stole $2,200 and all of his medication.

5:17 p.m., East Sonora — A 29-year-old woman was in custody on suspicion of shoplifting from a store on the 13700 block of Mono Way.

FRIDAY

3:48 p.m., Sonora — Cathy Lee Carol Scotland, 42, of the 20000 block of Chipmunk Road, was booked on suspicion of inducing a minor to use or sell marijuana, after an arrest at Coffill Park.

5:44 p.m., Sonora — Billy Joe Holtzclaw, 40, of the 100 block of Poplar Road, was booked on suspicion of petty theft with a prior conviction and threatening a witness or victim of a crime, after an arrest at Old Wards Ferry and Sanguinetti roads.

SATURDAY

9:45 p.m., Sonora — Howard Leroy Anderson, 56, of the 15400 block of Buttercup Lane, was booked on suspicion of assault, after agreeing to meet with deputies at Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office where he was arrested.

SUNDAY

3:54 a.m., Columbia — Lisa Nicole O’Conner, 30, of the 22400 block of South Airport Road, Sonora, and Sean Timothy O’Conner, 31, of the 22400 block of Broadway Street, were booked on suspicion of drug possession for sales, possession of stolen property and committing a felony while out on bail or own recognizance, after arrests on the 22600 block of Broadway Street. Sean Timothy O’Conner was additionally booked on suspicion of unlawful possession of a firearm and discharging a firearm in a grossly negligent manner.

SATURDAY

12:16 a.m., Twain Harte — Christina Kathryn Arel, 22, of the 10200 block of Preston Lane, Jamestown, was arrested on Cedar Springs Road west of East Avenue.

SUNDAY

8:12 p.m., Sonora — Travis Ray Scrivner, 23, of the 9100 block of Chinese Camp Road, Chinese Camp, was arrested on Highway 108 at Mono Way.

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

FRIDAY

1:25 p.m., school assist — An officer cited a student for marijuana possession and released him to the custody of his parents.

1:56 p.m., school assist — A physical fight occurred outside the Sonora Elementary School fence on Greenley Road. A witness said it appeared to be four students against one. The school administration was to contact the parents and handle the disciplinary procedure.

3:45 p.m., controlled substances — An 18-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of providing marijuana to a minor and contributing to the delinquency of a minor, and a juvenile was cited on suspicion of marijuana possession and released to parents after officers contacted them at Coffill Park.

5:11 p.m., theft — A suspected shoplifter was arrested after refusing to return stolen merchandise and fleeing on foot.

6:01 p.m., vandalism — In a road rage incident at Mono Way and Sanguinetti Road, a man got out of his vehicle, approached another vehicle and kicked the door shut, leaving a dent.

9:30 p.m., theft — Three women were arrested on suspicion of stealing merchandise from a store on the 1100 block of Sanguinetti Road, then returning to the store with the merchandise to get refunds.

SATURDAY

10:16 a.m., unclassified — A hypodermic needle that was full of fluid and capped was found on the sidewalk along Stockton Road. An officer collected the needle and disposed of it.

10:14 p.m., disorderly conduct — A woman said there were three or four men standing in front of the courthouse on North Washington Street causing a disturbance. When she asked them to quiet down they became vulgar and started cussing at her. The men got into a taxi cab and left before officers could arrive.

SUNDAY

12:46 p.m., suspicious circumstances — Someone at East Lyons Street and Hope Lane said there was a woman driving around in a white pickup truck who was stopping at certain residences and inspecting properties. The woman turned out to be from a driveway sealing company trying to solicit business from residents.

1:04 p.m., vandalism — A vehicle was vandalized on Columbia Way.

The Sheriff’s Department reported the following:

FRIDAY

9:28 a.m., Rail Road Flat — A burglary occurred on Top Dollar Road.

11:54 a.m., Mokelumne Hill — A truck was vandalized on Center Street.

9:16 p.m., Valley Springs — A physical fight occurred at Taco Bell on Highway 12.

SATURDAY

11:02 a.m., Mokelumne Hill — Someone said there was an attempted theft on Highway 26.

11:52 a.m., Copperopolis — A theft occurred on Lake Tulloch Place.

SUNDAY

8:53 a.m., Valley Springs — Gas was stolen from U-Haul trucks on the 100 block of Highway 26. The suspects left gas cans and hoses behind.

8:55 p.m., Valley Springs — A residential burglary occurred on McAtee Street.

11:22 a.m., Valley Springs — Scott Eric Gibbs, 38, of the 2700 block of Dale Drive, was booked on suspicion of drug possession for sales, after an arrest on the 8200 block of Pardini Place.

2:18 p.m., Arnold — Brian Patrick Lerette, 48, of the 100 block of Woodchip Circle, was booked on suspicion of making criminal threats, after an arrest at his home.

2:30 p.m., Valley Springs — Tina Louise Harris, 38, of the 900 block of St. Andrews Court, was booked on suspicion of drug possession, after an arrest on the 8200 block of Pardini Place.

SUNDAY

12:51 p.m., Copperopolis — Sarah Lei Lujan, 24, of the 100 block of Copper Meadows Drive, was booked on suspicion of assault, after an arrest at her home.
