TUOLUMNE COUNTY

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

THURSDAY

12:55 p.m., traffic accident — A hit-and-run was reported on South Stewart Street.

1:57 p.m., drugs — Someone was smoking marijuana near the Sonora High School swimming pool but had a valid medical marijuana recommendation.

2:12 p.m., warrant arrest — A 24-year-old man was arrested on South Washington Street on a local misdemeanor warrant for driving with a suspended license. 

2:14 p.m., drugs — Four Sonora High School students were suspended for possession of marijuana.

3:39 p.m., school assist — A marijuana pipe found on the Sonora High School campus was booked for destruction.

3:48 p.m., traffic violations — An 18-year-old man was cited on suspicion of possession of marijuana and a 22-year-old man was cited on suspicion of driving without a license on South Green Street and Stockton Road. 

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

THURSDAY

1:32 a.m., Groveland — A 52-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of giving false identification to a police officer and a seat belt violation. He was also placed on parole hold. 

2:22 p.m., Twain Harte — A large amount of trash was dumped along a trail at Cedar Springs and Tuolumne roads.

3:53 p.m., Sonora area — About $50 in quarters were taken from a jar in a residence on the 19000 block of Berg Court.

4:07 p.m., Columbia — Someone stole about 60 clonazepam pills from a house on the 11400 block of Columbia Village Drive.

11:12 p.m., Jamestown — Someone broke into a house on the 10100 block of Peppermint Creek Circle and stole lunch meat and crackers.

THURSDAY

11:06 a.m., Sonora area — Lisa Lynn Beaty, 33, a transient, was booked on suspicion violation of probation after an arrest on the 700 block of Mono Way.

11:06 a.m., Sonora area — Stephen Michael Kistner, 35, of the 23600 block of Marble Quarry Road, was booked on suspicion of violation of probation, transporting or selling drugs and a misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia after an arrest on the 700 block of Mono Way.

5:02 p.m., Sonora area — Noah Scott Kolpack, 43, a transient, was booked on suspicion of possessing, manufacturing or selling a dangerous weapon after an arrest on Circle Drive. He was also booked on warrants and misdemeanor charges of possession of a hypodermic needle and possession of drug paraphernalia. 

7:40 p.m., Sonora area — Raveyn Mae Lynne Kennedy, 18, of the 9100 block of Highway 49, was booked on suspicion of burglary, possession of stolen property and criminal conspiracy after an arrest at Washington and Theall streets. He was also booked on misdemeanor petty theft charges.

7:47 p.m., Sonora area — Alyssa Danielle Drake, 18, of the 9100 block of South Highway 49, was booked on suspicion of possession of drugs, possession of stolen property, criminal conspiracy and burglary after an arrest at Washington and Theall streets. She was also booked on misdemeanor petty theft charges.

Cited on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs:

THURSDAY

6:40 p.m., Jamestown — Kenneth Joseph Carter, 25, of the 20400 block of North Sunshine Road, was booked after an arrest on Jacksonville Road at Bell Mooney Road. He was also booked on misdemeanor charges of hit-and-run with property damage and being under the influence of drugs.

11:22 p.m., Sonora area — Paul Parviz Hifal, 62, of an unknown address, was booked after an arrest on Highway 108 west of Washington Street. He was also booked on a misdemeanor charge of being under the influence of drugs.

CALAVERAS COUNTY

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

THURSDAY

8:48 a.m., San Andreas — An iPhone was stolen at Calaveras River Academy on Old Oak Road.

9:31 a.m., Valley Springs — An unknown vehicle drove across a golf course and damaged links.

10:07 a.m., Valley Springs — A homeless person has consistently used a port-a-potty at a baseball field on Paloma Road.

11:09 a.m., Angels Camp — Someone was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication at South Main Street and Raspberry Lane.

2:11 p.m., Valley Springs — A residence on Vista Del Lago Drive was burglarized.

2:51 p.m., Copperopolis — Someone was tearing up an area on Tuni Court with a bulldozer.

7:15 p.m., San Andreas — A suspicious vehicle was reported at San Andreas Elementary School on Lewis Avenue, but it was only a janitor’s vehicle. 

FRIDAY

6:43 a.m., Mokelumne Hill — Twenty llamas were in the roadway at Highway 49 and Lombardi Drive. 

Felony bookings

THURSDAY

5:36 p.m., Valley Springs — Michael Vincent Chapman, 24, of the 100 block of Daphne Street, was booked on suspicion of cultivating marijuana and a misdemeanor charge of willful cruelty to a child after an arrest at his home.
