TUOLUMNE COUNTY

The Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

FRIDAY

12:57 a.m., Soulsbyville area — Someone broke into a residence on the 14900 block of Curtis Circle through a window and took stereo equipment, three iPods and several pairs of pants.

6:37 a.m., Sonora — A woman on the 12700 block of Chukar Circle said a ring was stolen from her dresser.

8:19 a.m., Tuolumne — A woman on the 20400 block of Misty Lane said her child’s skateboard was taken from the yard. The wheels and other parts were removed, and just the board was found between a neighbor’s house and hers.

8:51 a.m., Columbia — A 38-caliber handgun was taken from an unlocked vehicle on the 22500 block of Upper Quail Mine Road overnight, and a 1,000-watt generator was taken from a garage on the same property a few days earlier.

10:30 a.m., Jamestown — Checks on a closed account were written to a business on the 18200 block of Main Street.

4:53 p.m., Columbia area — Someone dumped tires and trash on private property  and stole two 100-foot extension cords off the same property on the 12600 block of Big Hill Road.

5:09 p.m., Tuolumne — Debit cards owned by a man and wife on the 18400 block of Oak Street were compromised. The bank reimbursed them for $695.

7:17 p.m., Groveland — Five political signs along the 18700 block of Highway 120 were vandalized.

SATURDAY

1:23 a.m., Twain Harte — A female patron who reportedly assaulted a bouncer at a business on the 22900 block of Twain Harte Drive was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication.

6:06 a.m., Jamestown — Someone stole 62 syringes and insulin from a residence on the 10300 block of Willow Street.

7:21 a.m., Sonora area — A man on the 10800 block of Robinwood Lane said someone stole $5 in change and his backpack from his unlocked vehicle.

9:27 a.m., Sonora area — A man said some of his pain medication was missing from a locked container on the 20000 block of Sparrow Lane.

10:04 a.m., Jamestown — A woman said her father’s home was broken into and rummaged through on the 18100 block of Eighth Avenue.

10:57 a.m., Sonora area — A wallet and iPod were stolen from a vehicle on the 10800 block of Mount Brow Road. 

11:11 a.m., Don Pedro — A man at the dock at Fleming Meadows on Bonds Flat Road was brandishing a flare gun rigged to shoot bird shot and yelling at people that they couldn’t be there because he owned the dock. He also made threats to shoot up the marina. 

11:31 a.m., Tuolumne — A door was kicked in at a home on the 18500 block of Elm Avenue.

3:34 p.m., Columbia — A small fire was intentionally set at a homeless camp on Springfield Road at Parrotts Ferry Road. 

6:41 p.m., Sonora area — A business owner on the 13100 block of Sanguinetti Loop Road said he caught someone in his storage container and ran the man off. 

8:55 p.m., Columbia area — A party with marijuana and people throwing rocks was reported on Italian Bar Road at Forest Road 3N03.

10:53 p.m., Tuolumne area — A woman hit another woman in the face and threatened her with a knife over remarks made on the social networking site, Facebook. 

SUNDAY

12:39 a.m., Twain Harte — A man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication on the 18800 block of Manzanita Drive. 

1:12 a.m., Jamestown — A man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication on the 18700 block of Chabroullian Lane after jumping the fence of a rest home and trying to make the employees drink with him and give him cigarettes.

10:06 a.m., Sonora — A dead cat was reported on West Walnut at Racetrack Road. 

10:28 a.m., Jamestown area — A lost racing pigeon was found on the 16100 block of Jacksonville Road. 

3:39 p.m., Sonora area — Several juvenile boys were drinking alcohol near a preschool on the 21100 block of Shaws Flat School Road. 

7:50 p.m., Crystal Falls area — A man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication on the 20400 block of Silver Dawn Drive.

FRIDAY

10:35 p.m., Soulsbyville — Richard James Peters, 41, of the 19000 block of Middle Camp Sugar Pine Road, Sugar Pine, booked on suspicion of drug possession, and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana while driving, after an arrest on Oman Drive at Highway 108. 

SATURDAY

8:52 p.m., Phoenix Lake area — Wendy Renee April Frampton, 24, of the 15500 block of Bear Cub Court, booked on suspicion of obtaining drugs by fraud and first degree burglary, after an arrest at her home. 

SUNDAY

4:09 p.m., East Sonora — John David McBride, 43, of an unknown address on Main Street, Angels Camp, booked on suspicion of evading an officer and misdemeanor driving without a license, after an arrest on Hess Avenue at Tuolumne Road. 

8:21 p.m., Jamestown area — Elizabeth Sharon Quinn, 58, of the 22400 block of Ridge Road, Twain Harte, booked on suspicion of drug possession and misdemeanor driving under the influence, after an arrest on O’Byrnes Ferry Road at Shotgun Creek Estates. 

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

FRIDAY

9:25 a.m., burglary — Items were taken from a residence on Ruth Lane during the night.

12:49 p.m., suspicious circumstances — Someone reported the words “Help Me” written in dirt on a pickup window in South Washington Street. The Sheriff’s Office was asked to check on the welfare of the owner at a Jamestown residence. It turned out children had written numerous things in the dirt.

5:33 p.m., burglary — A residential burglary occurred during the night at Mills Garden Apartments on Highway 49.

6:26 p.m., public intoxication — A 71-year-old man having trouble walking in front of the Police Department on Green Street was transported to Sonora Regional Medical Center for medical clearance, then arrested on suspicion of public intoxication.

SATURDAY

6:31 p.m., fraud — A woman was arrested after trying to fill a forged prescription for pain medication on the 1000 block of Greenley Road. 

8:58 p.m., assault — A man was arrested on assault charges on Shaws Flat Road.

SUNDAY

2:48 p.m., vandalism — Someone shot BBs through a vehicle windshield on South Green Street. 

6:47 p.m., public intoxication — A 23-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication on Fairview Lane.

3:20 a.m., Columbia — Michael James Grove Paulo, 18, of an unknown address on Columbia College Drive, arrested on Columbia College Drive. 

SATURDAY

9:10 p.m., Groveland — Joseph Menard, 55, of an unknown address on Jackass Creek Road, arrested on Merrell Road. 

9:27 p.m., Sonora — Dale Robert Stevens, 52, of the 8500 block of Wilcox Ranch Road, arrested on Stewart Street at Jackson Street.

11:50 p.m., Chinese Camp area — Anthony Brian Edwards, 53, of Modesto, arrested on Highway 120 east of Highway 49.

SUNDAY

1:28 a.m., Sonora — Patricia Rae Brawley, 55, of the 20900 block of Shaws Flat Road, arrested on South Washington Street at Williams Street.

3:18 p.m., Jamestown — Ernest Byron Boswell, 61, of the 16700 block of Wigwam Road, Jamestown, arrested on Buck Brush Court at Golden Oaks Road.
