TUOLUMNE COUNTY

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

FRIDAY

11:32 a.m., traffic accident — A vehicle accident was reported on the 700 block of Stockton Road and the roadway was blocked. 

12:37 p.m., fraud — A woman’s signature was forged on an escrow check and the check was cashed.

2:38 p.m., reckless driving — A possible drunk driver was reported on Mono Way. Police were unable to locate the driver.

4:26 p.m., public intoxication — A 59-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication after sleeping by a fence on the 300 block of South Washington Street.

5:26 p.m., assault — A man reported that his 17-year-old child was assaulted in the Sonora High School parking lot.

SATURDAY

12:45 p.m., animal complaints — Two Chihuahuas were trying to attack a young child on Ruth Lane. The owner said the dogs would be secured and police forwarded a complaint to the Tuolumne County District Attorney’s Office. 

1:38 p.m., theft — A license plate was stolen from a vehicle on the 1000 block of Mono Way.

9:06 p.m., traffic violations — A vehicle was towed on the first block of Pesce Way for registration that expired more than six months ago. The driver was cited on suspicion of registration violations.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

FRIDAY

12:56 p.m., East Sonora — A 43-year-old man was arrested on warrants at a business on the 13700 block of Mono Way.

1:10 p.m., East Sonora — A Sirius XM Radio and radar detector were stolen from a vehicle on the 13700 block of Mono Way.

1:46 p.m., Soulsbyville — Someone found a loaded hypodermic needle on his property on the 20100 block of Soulsbyville Road.

2:43 p.m., Sonora — A possible drunk driver was reported at Mono and Restano ways.

3:51 p.m., Groveland —  A truck was stolen on the 14200 block of Boitano Road. 

5:32 p.m., Tuolumne — A plastic bag containing a white powdery substance was found in a parking lot on the 19400 block of Tuolumne Road North.

5:52 p.m., Phoenix Lake area — While a man on the 19800 block of Phoenix Lake Road was cleaning his Obama statue that was recently vandalized with paint, a car drove by and an occupant threw a beer bottle at the property. 

9:59 p.m., Jamestown — A woman reported that her son filled her Oxycodone prescription for himself.

SATURDAY

12:09 a.m., Twain Harte — A possible drunk driver was reported at Twain Harte and Black Hawk drives.

10:02 a.m., Jamestown — About $40 worth of gas was stolen from a vehicle on the 10300 block of Ninth Street. 

12:54 p.m., Sonora area — A gas leak was reported on Sirius Mine Lane.

1:51 p.m., Jamestown — Someone stole keys from a vehicle on the 17600 block of Rolling Hills Boulevard.

5:24 p.m., Columbia — A man was carrying a gun in the back of his pants near a business on the 22800 block of Main Street. 

6:55 p.m., Sonora area — Pipes at tennis courts and a chain link fence on the 21700 block of Crystal Falls Drive were vandalized.

10:34 p.m., Columbia — Someone was arrested after a fight between neighbors was reported on the 22100 block of Becky River Lane.

Felony bookings

FRIDAY

2:25 a.m., Sonora area — Steven Daniel Deaver, 39, of the 17700 block of Lime Kiln Road, was booked on suspicion of threatening crime with the intent to terrorize and a misdemeanor charge of vandalism after an arrest at his home.

4:20 p.m., Sonora area — Ian Douglas Campbell, 33, of 18800 block of Dusty Trail, was booked on suspicion of possession of a firearm by a felon or addict and possession of ammunition by a prohibited person after an arrest on the 100 block of Yaney Avenue.

4:49 p.m., Sonora area — Barbara Ann Schimberg, 53, of the 100 block of South Stewart Street, was booked on suspicion of possession of narcotics after an arrest on the 100 block of South Washington Street. 

6:10 p.m., Groveland — Mark Christopher Ahrens, 27, a transient, was booked on suspicion of vehicle theft and possession of stolen property after an arrest on Highway 120 west of Ferretti Road. He was also booked on a warrant and a misdemeanor charge of driving with a suspended license.

SATURDAY

8:59 p.m., Jamestown — Nicole Marie Silvey, 30, a transient, was booked on suspicion of willful infliction of corporal injury to a spouse, cohabitant or child’s parent after an arrest on the 10600 block of Seventh Street. 

SUNDAY

12:03 a.m., Tuolumne — Timothy Michael Barlass, 19, of Tuolumne, was booked on suspicion of carrying a concealed dirk or dagger and a misdemeanor charge of battery after an arrest on the 18700 block of Cedar Street.

4:11 p.m., Sonora area — Robert Charles Bunce, 22, of the 10700 of Wigwam Road, Jamestown, was booked on suspicion of threatening crime with the intent to terrorize and violation of probation after an arrest on the 1000 block of Greenley Road. He was also booked on a misdemeanor charge of contempt of court.

11:29 p.m., west county — Jaime M. Rodriguez, 43, of an unknown address, was booked after an arrest on Highway 120 at Green Springs Road.

SATURDAY

6:30 p.m., Columbia — Michael Gene Archer, 56, of the 8400 block of Lichen Drive, Citrus Heights, was booked after an arrest on Gold Street at Parrotts Ferry Road. He was also booked on a misdemeanor charge of driving with a license suspended for a DUI.

SUNDAY

10:08 p.m., Jamestown — Pauline Jo Tolman, 51, of the 14500 block of Stetson Road, Los Gatos, was booked after an arrest on Highway 108 at Montezuma Road.

CALAVERAS COUNTY

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

FRIDAY

7:43 a.m., Wallace — The U.S. Post Office on Camanche Parkway South was burglarized.

1:03 p.m., Burson — A llama was loose at Camanche Parkway South and Know Place.

2:35 p.m., San Andreas — A truck was on fire in the Department of Motor Vehicles parking lot.

3 p.m., Valley Springs — A car was keyed at a business on the 1100 block of Highway 4.

4:32 p.m., Arnold — Someone caught two people taking a snow blower on El Dorado Drive.

SATURDAY

8:58 a.m., Valley Springs — A vehicle was burglarized on North Branch Court.

1 p.m., Wilseyville — Medication was stolen from a residence on Lynn Boulevard.

3:35 p.m., West Point — A vehicle was burglarized on the 300 block of Stanley Road.

5:43 p.m., San Andreas — Fraud was reported  on the 300 block of East St. Charles Street.

6:54 p.m., Copperopolis — Driving under the influence was reported on Bay View Drive.

11:49 p.m., San Andreas — Someone was arrested on local warrants at a business on the 60 block of East Saint Charles Street.

SUNDAY

2:24 p.m., Valley Springs — Juveniles were shooting birds with BB guns on Daphne Street.

7:32 p.m., Jenny Lind — Vandalism to a window was reported on Milton Road.

9:19 p.m., Valley Springs — Vandalism was reported at a business on the 50 block of Highway 26. 

MONDAY

7:14 a.m., San Andreas — Someone was arrested on local and out-of-county warrants at a business on the 400 block of East St. Charles Street.

FRIDAY

3:45 p.m., Angels Camp — Travis Lane Woodbury, 24, of the 600 block of Gardner Lane, was booked on suspicion of violation of probation after an arrest at his home.

SATURDAY

1:45 a.m., Mokelumne Hill — Michelle Arlene Mitchell, 24, of the 3700 block of Carson Street, Vallecito, was booked on suspicion of possession of drugs after an arrest on Highway 49 south of Amador County. She was also booked on misdemeanor charges of driving under the influence and being under the influence of drugs.

6:16 p.m., Angels Camp — David Mark Chastain, 29, of the 8400 block of Old Melones Dam Road, Jamestown, was booked after an arrest at South Main Street and Stockton Road.

8:07 p.m., Angels Camp — Richard Kapena Coleman, 63, of the 9300 block of Pool Station Road, was booked after an arrest on the 300 block of South Main Street. He was also booked on misdemeanor charges of driving under the influence of drugs and petty theft.

10:44 p.m., Angels Camp — Matthew James Pinelli, 40, of the 500 block of Sultana Lane, Altaville, was booked after an arrest on the 300 block of South Main Street.

SATURDAY

12:41 a.m., Murphys — Raquel Justine Taylor, 23, of the 600 block of Roan Way, Avery, was booked after an arrest at Highway 4 and Utica Powerhouse Road. 

4:50 p.m., Angels Camp area— Jeffrey Lawrence Renner, 53, of the 900 block of Sandalwood Drive, Murphys, was booked after an arrest on Highway 49 at the cement bridge.

9:53 p.m., Angels Camp — Kevin Francis Kreisel, 50, of the 200 block of Allen Road, San Bruno, was booked after an arrest on the 30 block of North Main Street.
