TUESDAY

8:23 a.m., Sonora area — A man at Foothill Sierra Pest Control on the 11000 block of Mt. Brow Road said a warehouse door was tampered with.

10:36 a.m., Jamestown — A caller dropped off a girl's mountain bike found at Rocca Park to the Community Service Unit office on Main Street.

11:15 a.m., Twain Harte area — A man on the 23500 block of Italian Bar Road said an 18-foot ski boat on a trailer, water ski equipment and other items had been stolen.

11:22 a.m., Jamestown — A woman said her purse was stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked on the 10000 block of Victoria Way.

1:41 p.m., Chinese Camp — A man on the 13600 block of Red Hills Road said a neighbor keeps dumping ashes over a fence into the caller's yard.

1:51 p.m., Groveland — A Pine Mountain Lake security guard said a counterfeit bill was passed at the golf course pro shop on Sunday.

1:56 p.m., Willow Springs — A woman on the 20300 block of Sherry Court said a man came into her house on Saturday and stole her computer.

2:34 p.m., Phoenix Lake area — A woman on the 21200 block of Phoenix Lake Road said building materials were stolen from a back deck and garage.

3:43 p.m., Jamestown — An Oak Hill Apartment manager said a man climbed a wall at the apartment building on the 10300 block of Preston Lane to get into his mother's apartment.

5:05 p.m., Twain Harte — A man saw teens taking old furniture out of Twain Harte Inn to a hill that overlooks the Twain Harte Golf Course. A deputy spoke with the teens who said they didn't know who moved the furniture, but they agreed to put it all back.

7:01 p.m., Crystal Falls — A woman said neighbor children were shooting BBs at horses in the Crystal Falls Stables and hitting golf balls into the riding arena from their house on Crystal Falls Drive.

7:19 p.m., Jamestown area — A woman said her daughter was at a friend's house on Kirks Road earlier in the day and that the family dog bit the girl.

10:18 p.m., Willow Springs — A caller said a teenage girl had been sitting in the middle of Willow Springs Drive with a dog for almost two hours. The caller said the girl moved when cars came by but then went right back to sitting in the road.

10:24 p.m., Tuolumne — A Me-Wuk Tribal security officer said a Wayne's Mini-Mart clerk told him a woman had been hanging around the store on Tuolumne Road, possibly casing it for a robbery.

Felony bookings

TUESDAY

Noon, Sonora — Joy Ann MacDonald, 24, unknown address on Shaws Flat Road, Sonora, booked on suspicion of bringing drugs into the county jail after an arrest at the jail. No details were available. She remained held this morning in lieu of $10,000 bail.

WEDNESDAY

9:06 a.m., Sonora — Michelle Desiree Glenn, 40, 6600 block of Graham Circle, Citrus Heights, booked on a warrant charging her with burglary, forgery and passing worthless checks after she turned herself in at the county jail. She remained held this morning in lieu of $20,000 bail.

9:30 a.m., Sonora — Shawna Lori Tungate, 21, 10300 block of Preston Lane, Sonora, booked on a warrant charging her with unlawful sex with a minor after she turned herself in on a warrant.

According to the Tuolumne County District Attorney's office, Tungate is suspected of having a sexual relationship with a teenage boy in 2002 when the teen was 15.

Tungate was released on her own recognizance after appearing before a judge for arraignment.

Cited on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol:

Stephen Rocky Carothers, 53, undisclosed address on South Bear Clover Court, Sonora, booked at 9:30 p.m. Tuesday after arrest on Bonanza Drive at South Fork Road, Twain Harte.

Sara Marie Shaw, 23, 10600 block of Seventh Street, Jamestown, booked at 11:05 p.m. Tuesday after arrest on 19200 block of Cherokee Road, Tuolumne.

Matthew Cody Nugent 21, 15900 block of Parkridge Avenue, Sonora, booked at 12:40 a.m. yesterday after arrest on Fifth Street at Seventh Street, Jamestown.

Anthony Maciel, 24, 18900 block of Stagg Circle, Tuolumne, booked at 1:34 a.m. yesterday after arrest on Gold Street at South Washington Street, Sonora.

TUESDAY

10:31 a.m., vandalism — A woman on the 100 block of East Lyons Street said a window screen had been cut overnight.

12:19 p.m., found property — A caller found eyeglasses in the Sonora Police Department parking lot.

3:24 p.m., traffic violation — A 38-year-old man was cited for driving with a suspended license after a traffic stop on Pesce Way.

4:36 p.m., traffic violation — An 18-year-old man was booked on suspicion of reckless driving, speeding and resisting arrest after a traffic stop on Sanguinetti Road near the Sonora Crossroads shopping center.

7:01 p.m., public intoxication — A 52-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication on Stockton Road.

8:38 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A caller on the 200 block of Greenley Road said a "peeping Tom" was staring at her through a sliding glass door.

11:05 p.m., public intoxication — A 37-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication after a caller said she was walking down Snell Street screaming.

11:06 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A caller said objects were being thrown from a cliff area on Mono Way near Hospital Road. An officer checked the area but found nothing unusual.

8:18 a.m., Burson — A person was issued a citation for littering on the first block of Villa Ventura Road.

8:51 a.m., Rail Road Flat — A handgun was found on the 1500 block of Independence Road.

10:25 a.m., Wallace — An argument regarding pit bulls occurred on the 3700 block of Burson Road.

10:49 a.m., Valley Springs — A forged check was reportedly written on the first block of Highway 26.

2:04 p.m., Hathaway Pines — A caller on the 5500 block of Silver Saddle Court reported stolen and forged checks.

2:29 p.m., Murphys — A female was arrested on the 100 block of Big Trees Road for using her employer's credit card.

5:52 p.m., Dorrington — A caller on Souix Trail reported hearing pellet guns or sling shots.

6:59 p.m., Copperopolis — A caller on the 400 block of Lakeview Road said a neighbor was drunk and threatening them.

10:27 p.m., Jenny Lind — A woman on the 10400 block of Thompson Road said her daughter stole her car and drove to Kirkwood.

YESTERDAY

5:06 a.m., Valley Springs — A caller on the 100 block of Main Street said a group of people attempted to steal a truck from the caller's front yard.

YESTERDAY

11:50 a.m., San Andreas — Jerry Malcom Hess, 49, 19000 block of Rough and Ready Trail, Sonora, booked on suspicion of committing second-degree burglary and using a fake check on the 400 block of St. Charles Street. Hess remained in custody at Calaveras County Jail this morning in lieu of $30,000 bail.

Robert Allen Williams, 20, 1000 block of Highway 4, Douglas Flat, booked at 11:55 p.m. yesterday after arrest at the intersection of Murphys Grade Road and Highway 49 in Angels Camp.
